1.pp65 antigen and human cytomegalovirus infection
International Journal of Pediatrics 2017;44(7):478-482
HCMV infection can cause hepatopathy, pneumonia, diarrhea, thrombocytopenic purpura, and sensorineural hearing loss(SNHL),with high morbility and mortality.pp65(phosphoprotein 65),a major constitutive protein of virion,is closely associated with viral gene expression, immune evasion and cell metabolism.pp65 antigenemia level has positive correlation with clinical symptom, which can guide the preemptive therapyand improve prognosis,is considered as one of the golden standard methods of active cytomegalovirus infection. In this paper, the pp65 protein properties, pathogenesis, application in diagnosis and prevention are reviewed.
2.Gut microbiota and type 1 diabetes mellitus
International Journal of Pediatrics 2017;44(3):189-192
Recent researches have shown that gut microbiota play an important role in pathogenesis of immune-related disorders.Type 1 diabetes mellitus,as an autoimmune disease, has received increasing attention, especially in terms of the relationship between the pathogenesis and intestinal microbiota.Change of gut microbiota is an important risk factor of the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus which have been confirmed with the animal model studies. This article reviews the role of gut microbiota in the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus, and the influence of gut microbiota on host immune response for possible prevention and treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus in the future.
3.Abuse tendency among dementia caregivers: a qualitative research
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;(1):27-30
Objective To explore the feelings of the caregivers of dementia patients, and find the resource of the caregiver's abuse tendency to dementia patients in community. Methods The data of 10 caregivers were collected through deep interviews, and the Colaizzi analysis method was used to analyze the data. Results Through repeatedly reading, arranging, analysis, separation, and theme refining, five themes were drawn:lack of related knowledge and care skills, care tasks making caregivers tired, the economic burden, lack of social support, low sense of worth. Conclusions When concerning the problems caused by dementia patients,it's necessary to appeal the society and government to provide feasible service and assistance on the issue of abuse tendency, which is produced by the caregivers during the process of taking care of them.
4.ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC OBSERVATION ON THE EFFECT OF ACUPUNCTURE ANALGESIA ON THE ULTRASTRUCTURE OF SYNAPSES OF CAUDATE NUCLEUS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
The ultrastructures of synapses in the head of caudate nuclei of rats were studied by means of electron microscopic technique. The experimental group of rats, in which the pain threshold was elevated after electro-acupuncture, showed no change of the number of the granular vesicles, but a significant decrease of the number of clear synaptic vesicles (without dense core) in the presynaptic boutons. This might be correlated to release of acetylcholine in the synapse.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
The stimulate effects of synthetical endogenous peptides, tuftsin (Tuf) and thymopentin(TP5), on phagocytic function were studied. After subcutaneous administration (sc) of Tuf, thelysozyme content in both M? and sera, and the acid phosphatase activity in M?, were increasedin a dose-dependent manner. The peak time of serum lysozme level following a sigle sc injectionof Tuf was about on the 6th day. The elevation of lysozyme in sera was delayed and enhancedstrongly by Freund incomplete adjuvant (FIA). In cylcophosphamide (Cy) treated mice,TP5further increased both lysozyme content amd acid phosphatase activity in M?activated byCy, and recovered the lysozyme level in spleen inhibited by cy. The results suggested thatTP5could not only activate the funceion of M?, but recover the number of M?decreased by im-mumoimhibitant.

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 1995;0(02):-
In order to evaluate the effect of chinese medicine (Yi Qi Xiao Zheng decoction) in reducing radiation side effect, an observation of peripheral blood WBC, stem cell amount, the function of liver and renal in mice was made during and after radiation. The results showed that WBC and stem cell amount were higher in Chinese medicine combined with radiation group than radiation only group after 3 fraction radiation(P

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the combination of Weimaining capsule and XELOX regimen (oxaliplatin plus capecitabine) in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients. Methods A total of 62 patients with advanced gastric cancer who fulfilled all predetermined criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The 31 patients in observation group received a combination of Weimaining capsule and XELOX regimen, the 31 patients in control group received only XELOX regimen at the same dose intensity. Each patient received at least two cycles (1 cycle =21 days) of treatment, the efficacy was assessed after two cycles. Results The median time-to-progression (TTP) of observation and control groups were 5.5 and 4.8 months, respectively. The difference had no statistical significance (P =0.238).The disease control rates (DCR) of observation group was significantly improved compared with control group [67.7 % (21/31) vs 41.9 % (13/21),P < 0.05],the difference was statistically significant, while the objective response rate (ORR) of the 2 groups had no statistical difference [(32.3 % (10/31) vs 25.8 % (8/31),P > 0.05].In drug safety aspects, there was no Ⅴ grade adverse reactions (deaths caused by drug) among all the patients.Rates of grades Ⅱ-Ⅳ neutrocytopenia and nausea, vomiting in observation group were obviously lower than control group [16.13 % (5/31) vs 38.71% (12/31),P < 0.05;12.90 % (4/31) vs 35.48 % (11/31),P < 0.05],other adverse reactions between the 2 groups had no statistical difference. Conclusions A combination of Weimaining capsule and XELOX regimen in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients can improve DCR significantly and reduce part of adverse reaction induced by chemotherapy with satisfactory safety. This method is worthy of application widely.

Aim To study Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and 7-oxo-dehydroepiandrosterone (7-oxo-DHEA) protected hippocampal neurons against neurotoxicity induced by glutamate(Glu). Methods Cell survival rate was analyzed using MTT colorimetry, the change of Ca 2+ levels and the levels of free radical in cultured hippocampal neurons were analyzed by the laser scanning confocal microscope, and cellular GSH level was also analyzed. Results Exposure of cultured rat hippocampal neurons to Glu resulted in accumulation of celluar Ca 2+ and cellular free radical were prevented by DHEA (0.1 ?mol?L -1 )and 7-oxo-DHEA(0.1 ?mol?L -1),and cellular GSH was increased. Conclusion DHEA and 7-oxo-DHEA protected hippocampal neurons against neurotoxicity induced by Glu.

Objective To investigate the effect of structured preoperative instruction on anxiety and self-care compliance in elder patients with cataract surgery. Methods Eighty patients over the age of 60 years undergoing cataract surgery were randomly assigned into experiment group and control group with 40 cases in each group. The experiment group received structured guidance preoperative intervention and the control group wtih routine care.SA(Self-Rating Anxiety Scale)and self-designed self-care compliance scale were used before and after interuention, postoperative patients’anxiety and self-care compliance were assessed 1d before and after surgery.Result There were significant differences between the two groups in the postoperative state anxiety (all P﹤0.01)and the postoperative self-care compliance score was higher than the control group. Conclusion Structured preoperative instruction reduces preoperative anxiety and improve compliance in elderly patients with senile cataract.
