International Journal of Pediatrics 2017;44(7):478-482
HCMV infection can cause hepatopathy, pneumonia, diarrhea, thrombocytopenic purpura, and sensorineural hearing loss(SNHL),with high morbility and mortality.pp65(phosphoprotein 65),a major constitutive protein of virion,is closely associated with viral gene expression, immune evasion and cell metabolism.pp65 antigenemia level has positive correlation with clinical symptom, which can guide the preemptive therapyand improve prognosis,is considered as one of the golden standard methods of active cytomegalovirus infection. In this paper, the pp65 protein properties, pathogenesis, application in diagnosis and prevention are reviewed.
3.Molecular biological character of PRL-3 and its relationship with colorectal cancer metastasis
Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(5):375-378
The phosphatase of regenerating liver(PRL)families of phosphatases, consisting of PRL-1,PRL-2,and PRL-3,are individually overexpressed in a variety of cancer cell lines and tissues when eom-pared with their normal counterparts.Several recent studies have shown that PRL-3 is expressed at a higher lev-el and at a greater frequency in colorectal cancer with liver metastases compared with primary colorectal tumorsand normal colon tissue.Expression of PRL can enhance metastatic and invasive properties of cells and initiate tumor angiogenesis in experimental mice. However, the exact mechanism and in- teracting proteins of the PRL remain unclear. With further study,PRL-3 may server as an attractive target for therapeutic intervention and marker for colon cancer metastasis.
4.Endocrine changes in children with pancreatic damage:an up-to-date review
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;19(4):431-434
The variety of primary or secondary pancreatic diseases or injuries in children can cause the changes of pancreatic endocrine function, leading to the structural damage of pancreatic endocrine cells and the dysfunction, which can worsen the disease progression and prognosis. The etiology of pancreatic damage is complex, little is known about the pathogenesis. But the change of pancreatic endocrine function caused by pancreatic damage has clinical significance.Based on current studies and animal experiments, this review covered the etiology and pathogenesis of pancreatic endocrine dysfunction in children with pancreatic damage, which would help promote the cognitive level and the research development in this new field and provide new ideas for the research of pancreatic damage.
5.Research progress on small cell lung cancer with syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2017;44(5):233-237
Many malignant tumors, most commonly small cell lung cancer, merge with syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidi-uretic hormone (SIADH). SIADH is caused by the neuroendocrine function of tumor cells or is a side effect of chemotherapeutics. As a chemotherapeutic side effect, SIADH presents as hyponatremia. Therapy for SIADH includes both treatment for primary diseases and hyponatremia. Given that SIADH-induced hyponatremia aggravates the prognosis and shortens the survival time of patients with malig-nant tumors, SIADH is an independent risk factor for prognosis. Therefore, the early diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of SIADH will improve the prognosis of patients with malignant tumors.
6.A comparison of computer-assisted total knee arthroplasty through vastus medialis approach and conventional arthroplasty
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(22):3205-3211
BACKGROUND:In the treatment of primary knee osteoarthritis, total knee arthroplasty is a common treatment, but there are some shortcomings in the traditional operation, which maylead to early failure of the prosthesis.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the difference of computer-assisted total knee arthroplasty by vastus medialis approach from the traditional total knee arthroplasty.
METHODS:A total of 79 patients with primary knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into control group (41 cases) and observation group (38 cases), which underwent conventional total knee arthroplasty and computer-assisted total knee arthroplasty by vastus medialis approach. Surgical incision, operation time, total blood loss and drainage volume were recorded and compared in both groups. In 12 months of folow-up, Hospital for Special Surgery knee score was evaluated, and the complications were recorded and compared between the two groups.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Operative incision was significantly less in the observation group than in the control group. Operation time was significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group. Total blood loss and drainage volume were significantly lessin the observation group than in the control group (alP< 0.05). (2) Patients in both groups were folowed up for 12 months. Index score and total score of knee function were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (al P< 0.05). (3) No adverse events such as infection, prosthesis loosening or fracture appeared in the observation group. In the control group, four cases affected prosthesis loosening. One case suffered from wound infection. Above events were improved obviously after active treatment. No serious complications occurred. The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group (P< 0.05). (4) The results show that, compared with the traditional operation, the choice of the femoral medial approach and the use of computer aided design technology can simulate the knee replacement process, set the cutting position, improve the accuracy and success rate of surgery, have less trauma, and effectively improve knee function, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
7.Analysis on the rural elderly chronic patient's seeking healthcare behavior and its influencing factors:Empirical analysis based on CHARLS Data
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2016;9(5):35-41
In order to study the rural elderly chronic patient's seeking healthcare behavior and its influencing factors, the paper uses the 2011 national baseline survey data of the “China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study ( CHARLS)” and the Multinomial Logit model to conduct an empirical analysis .The study results show that:( 1 ) The rural elderly chronic patients are more likely to choose the county-level and above hospitals and village clin-ics instead of the township health centers .(2) The obvious influencing factors in the healthcare seeking behavior in-clude age , educational background , household per capita annual income , chronic disease severity , self-rated health and region. Therefore, the present study suggests that the treatment of chronic diseases does not transfer to the town -ship health centers .The township health centers should improve their chronic medical service abilities , and actively strengthen their functions in chronic diseases prevention and treatment .

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(11):-
AIM: To investigate the effects of ?-mercaptoethanol (?-ME) and all-trans rentinal acid (RA) on glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) expression in mesenchymal cells derived from mouse fetal liver in vitro. METHODS: Cells suspension from 14.5-days-old mouse fetal liver were cultured in DMEM/HEPES/F12 supplemented with 20% FCS and mesenchymal cells were acquired after discarding nonadherent cells. The 5th passage cells were induced by ?-ME and RA. The characteristics of treated cells were assayed by immunocytochemistry staining at 5 hours and 5 days after induction. ?-actin as an internal control, GFAP gene expression of mesenchyal cells was detected with semi-quantitative RT-PCR. RESULTS: After being inducted by ?-ME and RA, 80% approximately of the cells exhibited typical neural morphology and about 85% expressed GFAP phenotype. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR showed that mRNA expression of GFAP increased in treated cells versus untreated cells (P
