Objective To evaluate the effect of elimination of schistosomiasis infectivity in water body by applying molluscicide on transmission marshland outside an embankment in Dongting Lake. Methods Two patches of transmission marshland with similar Oncomelania snails and infectious snails density in the northern part of eastern Dongting Lake regions were selected as molluscicide trail and control groups, respectively, and the snails and water body infectious indicators were investigated and compared between them. Results Adjusted death rate of snails in the trail group 15 days after applying molluscicide was 94.13%,without infected snails. The infection rate of sentinel mice in the trial group 50 days after applying molluscicide was 100.00%,with average 56.6 worms per mice. The infection rate of sentinel mice in the control group without molluscicide was also 100.00%,with average 147.8 worms per mice. Conclusions In transmission marshland areas outside the embankment of rivers or lakes,it is impossible for focus mollusciciding to eliminate the infectivity of schistosomiasis in water body, yet possible to reduce the degree of infectivity to a certain extent.

Objective:To investigate the cognitive level of wearing and removing personal protective equipment in COVID-19 isolation wards of Wuhan Fangcang shelter hospital, and provide the scientific basis for the training of hospital protection. Methods:Cognitive level of wearing and removing personal protective equipment in Wuhan Fangcang shelter hospital were investigated by using a questionnaire which included 14 related scales, including putting on and off protective equipment, hand hygiene disinfection and so on.Results:The total scale score of non-medical workers was 48.82±9.65, which was lower than the total scale score of doctors (55.46±1.29) and nurses (55.0±2.36), P<0.05. The each score of 14 items in the scale of non-medical workers was all lower than those of doctors and nurses ( P<0.05). There were no significant differences in scale scores among doctors, nurses and medical technicians. The total score of the scale of non-medical workers in later period was 55.23±3.26, which was significantly higher than the total score of 44.50±10.14 in previous period, P<0.001. The total score of nurses and medical technicians in the later period was higher than those in the previous period, and the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the total score of the scale in the later period and that in the previous period. Conclusions:The cognition level of non-medical workers on wearing and removing personal protective devices was lower than those of doctors and nurses, strengthening the practice could improve cognition.

The application of robots in thoracic surgery is mainly based on the da Vinci general surgery robot. With the popularization of artificial intelligence (AI) application scenarios, the combination of AI and robots is more closely, and there is a strong clinical demand and huge application space for the development of specialized disease-specific robotic systems for thoracic surgery. This article aims to systematically describe the history of the rise of specialized surgical robots and the status of the localization of surgical robots in China, propose the concept of applying AI to the research and development of integrated specialized disease-specific robots in thoracic surgery, and clarify the ethics and prospects that intelligent specialized disease-specific surgical robots will face.
