A study the quantitative measurement of DNA content in 3 normal lacrimal glands, 18 pleo-morphie adcnomas and 21 lacrimal gland carcinomas was carried out by flow eytometry. The results showed that pleomorphie adenomas still had the characteristics of DNA content of the normal diploid lacrimal gland cells. The significant increase of DNA index (DI) in pleomorphie adenomas might mean malignant transformation. Objective To investigate the changes and significance of platelet parameters and leucocyte in the children suffered from mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP).Methods The platelet parameters (PLT),the platelet volume(MPV),the platelet distribution width (PDW),and the white blood cell count(WBC) were detected by automatic blood cell analyzer respectively in 300 children with MPP before and after the treatment by macrolides antibiotics for a week as well as in 40 normal children.The comparison was made among them.Results There were 156 cases that suffered from thrombocytosis (PLT ＞ 300 × 109/L) in MPP group,the incidence rate was 52.0％(156/300).While there was 1 case with thrombocytopenia,the incidence rate was 0.3％ (1/300).The WBC,MPV and PDW in MPP group before and after one-week treatment were higher than the control group.And the PLT was higher than the initial stage of hospitalization and the control group.The differences had statistical significance.Conclusion The incidence rate of thrombocytosis was high in the children suffered from MPP.The dynamic observation of platelet parameters and WBC in children with MPP could be used as the elementary basis of judging MP infection.

Early detection and timely treatment hold the key to cure retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).ROP screening is carried out unevenly in China.Examination equipments and personnel experiences are the major factors to constraint ROP screening.In addition to strengthening personnel training,it is necessary to establish a standard guideline and pipeline for ROP consultation and referral. Laser photocoagulation and cryotherapy are the first options for the threshold ROP and Type 1 pre-threshold ROP.Scleral buckling or vitrectomy is needed for advanced ROP when retinal detachment occurs. The clinical efficacy of intravitreal injection of bevacizumab (an anti-vascular endothelial growth factor monoclonal antibody) for severe ROP is encouraging,but needs further verification.Genetic interference and stem cell therapy will be the prosperous futures in the treatment of ROP.The screening and treatment of ROP in China is becoming more common and improved,but it is still a long way to go considering the huge population of China.

ObjectiveTo understand the effect of student standardized patient-case teaching in orthopedic surgery.Methods A total of 120 clinical medicine students were selected,and they were randomly assigned to be research group ( n=60 ) and control group ( n=60 ),as students standardized patient,10 clinical medicine students and postgraduate students of orthopedic surgery were selected,and standardized patient-case teaching was applied to the students in research group while traditional case teaching was applied to students in control group.After teaching,the teaching effect and survey the feedback information about teaching form students were evaluated.ResultsTotal mark of effect evaluation of 2 groups is 83.50 + 6.55 and 71.11 ± 6.57,and both operational score and knowledge study achievements of research group were better than control group (P＜0.01),over 80％ research group students effect evaluation being positive.ConclusionStudent standardized patient-case teaching is helpful to improving students' study in orthopedic surgery and the teaching effect is remarkable.

Objective Perioperative fluid therapy has always been the most basic and important measure to maintain the stability of patients'cyclic system.Colloid and crystalloid,as common perioperative fluid,play different roles in clinical application due to the different molecular sizes.In the recent years,besides their contribution to maintain the stability of cyclic system,scientists have begun to pay attention to the effect on coagulation,especially their comparison.This paper mainly discusses the study status of the influence on coagulation produced by different liquids.

Objective:To detect the effects of porcelain-fused-to-metal(PFM)crown on the periodontal tissue of the restored teeth,and the relationship between the levels of intedeukin(IL)-1β,aspartate transaminase(AST)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)in gingival crevicular fluid(GCF)and the health condition of periodontal tissue.Methods:Among 28 patients,34 maxillary incisors with PFM crowns were selected for the study.There were 19 Ni-Cr PFM crowns and 15 Au-Pt PFM crowns.The contralateral homonymy natural teeth were healthy and treated as control teeth.The patients were followed up 6 to 8 months after restoring crowns.The values of IL-1β,AST and ALP in GCF were analysed.Results:The concentrations of IL1β and ALP were significantly higher in GCF of Ni-Cr PFM compared with those of control,whereas no significant difference in Au-Pt PFM group compared with that of control.The level of GCF-AST was higher in Ni-Cr PFM and Au-Pt PFM group than that of healthy control.Conclusion:Ni-Cr PFM crowns have negative influence on periodontal tissue,but Au-Pt PFM have little influence on periodontal tissue of the restored teeth.The activity of IL-1β,AST and ALP of GCF are sensitive to reflect the effect of PFM crowns of different materials on periodontal tissue.

Objective To analyse the change of the blood serum electrolyte in asphyxial neonates.Methods To test the concentration of blood serum K~+、Na~+、Cl~-、Ca~(2+) in enzyme linked immunosorbhent assay.In 343 cases,there were 297 cases of slight asphyxial neonates and 46 eases of serious neonates.In control group,there were 41 cases.Results The concentration of blood serum K~+、C~l-、Ca~(2+) in asphyxial neonates were significamly less than control group(all P<0.01) and the concentration after birth 24h～48h were significantly less than within 24h(all P<0.01).The incidence of hyponatremia,hypochloremia and hypocalcemia after birth 24h～48h were significantly hisher than within 24h(all P<0.01),There were no significant differences in the concentration of blood serum K~+、Na~+、Cl~-、Ca~(2+) between the slight asphyxial group and the serious asphyxial group(P>0.05).Conclusions The concentration of blood serum K~+、Na~+、Cl~-、Ca~(2+) in asphyxial neonates gradually reduced after birth 48h and tbe incidence of electrolyte disturbance gradually increased.The change of blood electrolyte should be dynamically routinely monitored.
