A study the quantitative measurement of DNA content in 3 normal lacrimal glands, 18 pleo-morphie adcnomas and 21 lacrimal gland carcinomas was carried out by flow eytometry. The results showed that pleomorphie adenomas still had the characteristics of DNA content of the normal diploid lacrimal gland cells. The significant increase of DNA index (DI) in pleomorphie adenomas might mean malignant transformation. Objective To study the pharmacodynamics features of cisatracurium besylate in differ-ent age patients. Methods One hundred and eighty patients were randomized to group Ⅰ (50-60 years old),group Ⅱ (61-70 years old)and group Ⅲ (above 70 years old).Each group was subdivided according to the dose of cisatracurium besylate, 0.10 mg/kg (2ED95)or 0.15 mg/kg (3ED95) into group Ⅰ2, Ⅰ3, Ⅱ2, Ⅱ3,Ⅲ2, Ⅲ3(n = 30).ECG, SpO2, PETCO2, HR and neuromuscular blockade were monitored. Intubation conditions were assessed when T1 was zero after cisatracurium besylate administer ration using a 4-part scale.The onset time, TOF no reaction time, duration time, recovery lime and hemodynamic response time were recorded. Re-sults The onset times of group Ⅰ3, Ⅱ3 and Ⅲ3 were significantly shorter than those of group Ⅰ2, Ⅱ2 and Ⅲ2 (P < 0.05).The percentages of patients with excellent intubation condition in group Ⅰ3, Ⅱ3 and Ⅲ3 were 93%, 90%, and 80%, which were markedly higher than those in group Ⅰ2, Ⅱ2 and Ⅲ2 (67%, 60%, 60%). TOF no reaction time and duration time were longer in group Ⅰ3, Ⅱ3 and Ⅲ3 than those in group Ⅰ2, Ⅱ2 and Ⅲ2. There was no significant difference in muscle chalasis among the six groups. Conclusions Cisatracuri-um besylate 0.15 mg/kg produces quicker onset time and acceptable intubation conditions in the different age patients than 0.10 mg/kg. Recovery time is independent on the dosage and age. Aging has no influence on the phannacodynamics of single injection of cisatracurium besylate.

Objective To hy out a course of nursing intervention programmes for patients undergoing coronary intenrentional therapy on the basis of the health belief model(HBM),and estimate its clinical effectbv measuring the change ofquality of life(QOL).Methods 64 patients were randomly selected and divided into 2 groups,the experimental group was treated with the nursing intervetnion on the basis of the HBM,and the control group was treated with routine nursing measures.The quality of life wes compared between the two groups after intervention.Results The total score of QOL,the restricted ability of activity,the therapy satis-faction and the subiective feelings of patients to disease of the two groups had significant difference after inter- vention,P<0.01,but no difference in angina stabilization and occurrence was seen,P>0.05. Conclusions Nursing programmes on the basis of the HBM make the QOL of patients to improve evidently.

Early detection and timely treatment hold the key to cure retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).ROP screening is carried out unevenly in China.Examination equipments and personnel experiences are the major factors to constraint ROP screening.In addition to strengthening personnel training,it is necessary to establish a standard guideline and pipeline for ROP consultation and referral. Laser photocoagulation and cryotherapy are the first options for the threshold ROP and Type 1 pre-threshold ROP.Scleral buckling or vitrectomy is needed for advanced ROP when retinal detachment occurs. The clinical efficacy of intravitreal injection of bevacizumab (an anti-vascular endothelial growth factor monoclonal antibody) for severe ROP is encouraging,but needs further verification.Genetic interference and stem cell therapy will be the prosperous futures in the treatment of ROP.The screening and treatment of ROP in China is becoming more common and improved,but it is still a long way to go considering the huge population of China.

Objective To investigate the changes of the anion gap(AG)in the premature suffered from hyperbilirubinemia,to provide the basis for treatment.Methods The serum electrolyte,the renal function and the liver function in 94 premature babies suffered from hyperbilirubinemia were tested,and then calculated the value of AG,while the arterial blood gas analyses were done in 36 cases.Results 44 cases had high AG(46.81％),44 cases had normal AG(46.81％)and 6 cases had low AG(6.38％).The increase of AG was directly proportional to the concentration of Na+in blood,while was inversely proportion to the concentration of HCO3-.There was no close relationship between the AG and BUN,Scr in the serum.Conclusion The incidence rate of metabolic acidosis poisoning was high in premature suffered from hyperbilirubinemia with high AG,so the routine test of blood electrolyte,renal function and arterial blood gas should be done.Calculate the value of AG to guide the treatment,and to avoid correcting the acid by the alkali blindly.

Objective To investigate the changes and significance of platelet parameters and leucocyte in the children suffered from mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP).Methods The platelet parameters (PLT),the platelet volume(MPV),the platelet distribution width (PDW),and the white blood cell count(WBC) were detected by automatic blood cell analyzer respectively in 300 children with MPP before and after the treatment by macrolides antibiotics for a week as well as in 40 normal children.The comparison was made among them.Results There were 156 cases that suffered from thrombocytosis (PLT ＞ 300 × 109/L) in MPP group,the incidence rate was 52.0％(156/300).While there was 1 case with thrombocytopenia,the incidence rate was 0.3％ (1/300).The WBC,MPV and PDW in MPP group before and after one-week treatment were higher than the control group.And the PLT was higher than the initial stage of hospitalization and the control group.The differences had statistical significance.Conclusion The incidence rate of thrombocytosis was high in the children suffered from MPP.The dynamic observation of platelet parameters and WBC in children with MPP could be used as the elementary basis of judging MP infection.
