3.Study on Quality Standard for Kangyuan Granula
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(10):-
Objective To establish the quality standard for Kangyuan Granula. Methods Radix Astragali, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Fructus Lycii and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae in this prescription were identified by TLC. The content of the Paeoniflorin was determined by HPLC. The column of AichromBond-AQ-C18 (4.6 mm?150 mm, 5 ?m) was used, the mobile phase was Water-Acetonitrile (85∶15), at the flow of 1.0 mL/min, the column temperature of 30 ℃, and peaks were detected at 230 nm. Results The characteristic of identification by TLC was distinct and highly specific. The linear range of Paeoniflorin was 0.0545~0.545 ?g, r =0.999 5, the average recovery was 97.90%, RSD=1.06% (n =6). Conclusion The method was easy to operate with accurate result and good reproducibility. It can be used effectively for the quality control of this preparation.
5.The enrollment and education of day school student at PUMC nursing school
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2009;29(11):1228-1229
In order to meet the needs of increased requirement of nurse especially in the region with limited resources for education and training, PUMC Nursing School initiated a program of Day School Student since 2002. This paper reviews the enrollment, education and training of these students and to share our experience with other schools in China in terms of strategy development and program implementation.
6.Experimental Study on Dunhuang Nourishing Cream in Delaying Skin Aging
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(03):-
Objective To observe the influence of Dunhuang Nourishing Cream on the contents of SOD, GSH-PX and MDA in skin of aged rats. Methods Female SD rats of SPF level were divided into 6 groups:high, moderate and low dose groups of Dunhuang Nourishing Cream, model contrasting group, positive contrasting group and blank contrasting group. After removed the hair on the back, the drug groups were applied with Dunhuang Nourishing Cream, the model group was applied with the matrix of Dunhuang Nourishing Cream and the positive group was applied with vitamin E. After 30 days, the contents of SOD, GSH-PX and MDA in the skin were tested with the method of biochemistry analysis. Results Compared with the model group, the contents of SOD, GSH-PX and MDA in the high, moderate and low dose groups had significant difference (P

8.One case of laryngopharyngeal recess fibroma.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(9):494-495
To report a case of laryngopharyngeal recess fibroma with the clinical and pathological characteristics. The laryngopharyngeal recess neoplasm was expect with pedestal laryngoscope. The postoperative pathologic diagnosis was laryngopharyngeal recess fibroma. The tumor did not recurred after one year following-up. Surgery is the first selection for treatment of patient with laryngopharyngeal recess neoplasm. A closed follow-up is needed.

9.Histopathological study of renal biopsies and its correlation with clinical features in primary Sjgren's syndrome
Min WU ; Fie-Ping PAN ;
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2001;0(04):-
Objective To explore the histopathological features of renal lesions in patients with prima- ry Sjgren's syndrome(pSS)and the correlation between the findings with clinical manifestations.Methods Kidney and labial salivary gland biopsies from 16 patients with pSS were studied by a semiquantitative assess- ment approach.Results Among these pSS patients,light microscopy showed acute or chronic interstitial nephritis(IN,8/16),diffuse mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MePGN,3/16),mild mesangial prolifer- ative glomerulonephritis(3/16),focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS,2/16),membranoproliferative glomeru- lonephritis(MPGN,1/16)and membranous nephropathy(MN,2/16).There were 11/16(68.8%)cases had renal tubular acidosis(RTA),8 cases of them presented with IN.In two chronic renal failure cases,one showed MN and another showed IN accompanied with FSGS.Immunofluorescent examination revealed deposition of IgG, IgA,IgM,C3,Clq on the glomerular basement membrane or tubular basement membrane,mesangium focally.It was noted that the interstitial inflammation was focal in 85% of the patients and was always combined with dif- fusely distributed cellular infiltrates.The percentage of obsolescent glomeruli was found correlated with the level of vessel wall thickening(r=0.77,P=0.001)but not with the grade of tubular atrophy and interstitial fi- brosis.Creatinine clearance was correlated with the adjusted chronic tubulointerstitial nephritis(CTIN)score (r=-0.52,P=0.04)and the percentage of obsolescent glomeruli(r=-0.53,P=0.04).No association could be found between the labial salivary gland and the renal focus scores(r=0.28,P=0.30).Conclusions The renal tubular acidosis and IN are the most common findings in pSS patients with renal involvement.Glomerular dam- age is not uncommon,althought mild and is not merely secondary.Timely renal biopsy can help to estimate prognosis and guide therapy.

Objective To investigate the possible effect of performing double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction on the imbalance between vastus lateralis (VL) and vastus medialis oblique (VMO) muscles of patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS).Methods Thirty patients with PFPS were selected to be in the study group,matched with 30 healthy subjects who were enrolled as the control group.Electromyography was used to record VL and VMO activities while the subjects performed double-leg semi-squats (DSs) and double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction (DSs-HA).Results In the study group,when performing DSs,the average RMS was (103.31 ± 44.54) μV and the IEMG was (8.02 ±3.45) μVs for VL.For VMO the RMS was (85.02 ±41.19) μV and the IEMG was (6.72 ±3.20) μVs.The differences in the time domain indexes (RMS,IEMG) between VL and VMO were both significant during DSs (P < 0.05).There was no significant differences during DSs-HA (P > 0.05).The time domain indexes (RMS,IEMG) of VMO were significantly different in both the DSs and DSs-HA (P < 0.05).Conclusions Stronger sEMG signals were seen from the VMO in the double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction than without hip adduction,which indicates that more selective VMO activation can be obtained in the exercise with hip adduction to help balance the VL and VMO.
