1.Negative Emotion and Psychological Intervention after Digit Replantation
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(3):253-254
Patients replanted severed finger generally have negative emotion after operation. Negative mood could induce vascular crisis and reduce survival of replanting finger. This paper reviewed the studies on negative emotion and psychological intervention in patients after digit replantation in various stages post-operation, and prospected the future.
2.A cold/heat property classification strategy based on bio-effects of herbal medicines.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(11):2149-2152
The property theory of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) is regarded as the core and basic of Chinese medical theory, however, the underlying mechanism of the properties in CHMs remains unclear, which impedes a barrier for the modernization of Chinese herbal medicine. The properties of CHM are often categorized into cold and heat according to the theory of Chinese medicine, which are essential to guide the clinical application of CHMs. There is an urgent demand to build a cold/heat property classification model to facilitate the property theory of Chinese herbal medicine, as well as to clarify the controversial properties of some herbs. Based on previous studies on the cold/heat properties of CHM, in this paper, we described a novel strategy on building a cold/heat property classification model based on herbal bio-effect. The interdisciplinary cooperation of systems biology, pharmacological network, and pattern recognition technique might lighten the study on cold/heat property theory, provide a scientific model for determination the cold/heat property of herbal medicines, and a new strategy for expanding the Chinese herbal medicine resources as well.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the changes of serum interleukin 8(IL-8) level in children with thyroid disfunction and its clinical significance in children with autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD).Method Serum IL-8 of 30 children with hyperthyroidism,16 children with hypotyroidism and 20 health children were detected by double antibody enzyme linked immunossorbent assay(ELISA).Results Serum IL-8 levels in hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism children were significantly higher than that in controls(P0.05).With the remission of the diseases, IL-8 levels decreased; there was a significant difference between serum IL-8 levels in patients before and after therapy (P

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Object To solve the problem that Taxus chinensis var. mairei (Lemee et L?vl.) Cheng et L. K.Fu grows slowly. Methods The consumption of phosphorus during the cell suspension culture and the effect of fed-batch carbohydrate, nitrogen and phosphorus on cell growth and living-cell activity were assayed. Results The carbohydrate was exhausted in the middle phase of suspension culture, dificiency of carbohydrate led to inhibition of cell growth in the late culture. Conclusion Compared with the control group, the cell growth rate and the cell density in the fed-batch carbohydrate group were increased significantly, and the cell growth rate was up to 83%.

Objective To observe the expression of MTA1 and ER in breast cancer, the correlation of the two factors and with the invasive capability of breast cancer. Methods The expression of MTA1 and ER in normal breast, precancerous lesions and breast cancer tissues was detected by using nucleic acid hybridization in situ(ISH) and immunocytochemistry(IHC) methods, and their correlation was analyzed by Spearman method.ResultsThe expression of MTA1 and ER was higher in ISH than in IHC.The mRNA expression of MTA1 in normal breast tissue, precancerous lesions and breast cancer tissne was 12.2%,33.3%,and 81.1% respectively, and the expression by IHC was 11.1%,31.1% and 72.2% respectively. The mRNA expression of ER in normal breast tissue, precancerous lesions and breast cancer tissue was 83.3%,61.1% and 37.8%,respectively,and the expression by IHC was70.9%,56.7% and 35.6% respectively. The positive expression of MTA1 was higher in ER-negative patients than that in ER-positive ones(86.2﹪vs.46.9﹪).ConclusionsCombined ISH and IHC detection can improve the detection rate of MTA1 and ER.With advancement of the disease and lowering of tumor differentiation, the expression of MTA1 gradually increases, while expression of ER decreases and even disappears. The expression of MTA1 is negative in relation to that of ER(the coefficient is-0.466).MTA1and ER could be important molecular markers for the prognosis and therapy of breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the possible effect of performing double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction on the imbalance between vastus lateralis (VL) and vastus medialis oblique (VMO) muscles of patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS).Methods Thirty patients with PFPS were selected to be in the study group, matched with 30 healthy subjects who were enrolled as the control group.Electromyography was used to record VL and VMO activities while the subjects performed double-leg semi-squats (DSs) and double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction (DSs-HA).Results In the study group, when performing DSs,the average RMS was (103.31 ± 44.54) μV and the IEMG was (8.02 ±3.45) μVs for VL.For VMO the RMS was (85.02 ±41.19) μV and the IEMG was (6.72 ±3.20) μVs.The differences in the time domain indexes (RMS,IEMG) between VL and VMO were both significant during DSs (P < 0.05).There was no significant differences during DSs-HA (P > 0.05).The time domain indexes (RMS,IEMG) of VMO were significantly different in both the DSs and DSs-HA (P < 0.05).Conclusions Stronger sEMG signals were seen from the VMO in the double-leg semi-squats with hip adduction than without hip adduction, which indicates that more selective VMO activation can be obtained in the exercise with hip adduction to help balance the VL and VMO.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2011;34(1):50-54
Objectives To evaluate the diagnostic value of real-time quantitative fluorescence polymerase chain reaction( Q-RT-PCR ) assay and immunofluorescence assay for diagnosis of hMPV. Methods Totally 1 283 children with acute respiratory infection admitted in Jiaxing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital for treatment from November 2008 to May 2009 were recruited in this study. The hMPV positive stains were separated and sequenced in this area. The sequences between the local hMPV stains and Holland stains NLD00-1 were compared. The specific primers and fluorescent probe were designed according to the sequence of epidemic hMPV strain. The Taqman methodology was applied in Q-RT-PCR. Negative pressure suction was used to acquire nasopharyngeal secretions specimens. Both Q-RT-PCR and immunofluorescence with FITC labeled monoclonal antibody were used to analyze them, respectively. The McNemar, test was applied to analyze the correlation between the two methods. Results Totally 1 283 specimens were analyzed with Q-RT-PCR and immunofiuorescence simultaneously. Q-RT-PCR analysis showed there were 59 cases positive. Immunofluorescence analysis showed there were 55 cases positive. Fifty-two cases were positive in both assays. There were 7 cases positive in Q-RT-PCR assay but negative in immunofluorescence assay and 3 cases negative in Q-RT-PCR assay but positive in immunofluorescence assay. If Q-RT-PCR method was set as the golden standard, the sensitivity and specificity for immunofluorescence detection method were 88. 1%and 99. 8%, respectively. Positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 94. 5% and 99. 4%,respectively. There was no significant difference ( χ2= 0. 9, P > 0. 05 ) by McNemar' test between the two methods. Conclusion The diagnostic value of immunofluorescence assay is close to Q-RT-PCR assay.
