1.Comparative study of bag-valne-mask ventilation and endotracheal intubation in the first aid
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(5):663-664
Objective To compare the effect of bag-valne-mask ventilation(BVM)and endotracheal intubation in the first aid. Methods 50 cases of sudden cardiac arrest(SCA)patients who received first aid were selected and divided into two groups by the breathing methods. The average time of intubations oxygen saturation and the restoration of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)were recorded. Results The rate of ROSC in two groups was not statistically significant. But the BVM group's breathing building time was much faster than the other group. Conclusion There was no difference of successful rate between two cardiopulmonary resuscitation methods in first aid of cardiac arrest.
3.Relationship between self-concepts discrepancies and mental health in college student
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(16):212-213
BACKGROUND: The discrepancies of the ideal self and the actual self (called as type A in this article), the objective self and the actual self(called as type B), the looking glass-self and the actual self(called as type C) are important study subjects and closely related to health psychology.OBJECTIVE: To probe into relationships between the discrepancies of type A, B, C self-concepts and mental health about Chinese college students, and try to provide scientific basis for mental health education of college students.DESIGN: Sampling investigation and cross-sectional study design based on the college student SETTING: Department of Psychology of Capital Normal University. PARTICIPANTS: From January to March 2002, in Beijing, we randomly chose 337 undergraduates who were of grade 2-3 from 9 classes in China University of Political Science and Law University(97 students), Universityof Petroleum, Beijing(85 students), China Public Security University(103students) and Capital Normal University(52 students). In Shanghai, Shanghai University(150 students from 7 classes in grade 2): In Changchun, Northeast Normal University(120 students from 4 classes in grade 1 -2).The total of participants were 607, but 51 participants were excluded for all kinds of reasons, at last, 556 valid participants took part in this study.METHODS: The self-concept-scale questionnaires was used for this study, including four subscales of the ideal self, the actual self, the object self and the looking-glass-self which were used to measure Chinese undergraduates'self-concept-discrepancies of A, B and C types; symptom checklist-90 scale (called SCL-90) was used to measure undergraduates' mental health. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The self-concept-discrepancies of three types(A, B, C), mental health and their relationships of Chinese college students. RESULTS: ① The descriptive statistics about the discrepancies of self-concepts of three types(A, B, C) of college students: type A (65.0±39.2)discrepancy was bigger than type B(-30.1± 28.2); type B was bigger than type C (-0.11± 24.7); ② Compared to the adult normal of symptom checklist-90(SCL-90), the college students responded to SCL-90 was normai, showing majority of college students were mental healthy; ③ Type A and B discrepancies of college students significantly correlated with 10 factors of SCL-90(P<0.01), whereas the correlation between type C discrepancy and 10 factors of SCL-90 was not significant; ④ Regression analyses predicting SCL-90 showed that A type(β=0.32) discrepancy contributing to SCL-90 was more bigger than type B (β= 0.24), type B was more bigger than type C (β= -0.14).CONCLUSION: The correlation of the discrepancies of the ideal self and the actual self, the discrepancies of the objective self and the actual self withmental health were statistically significant; but the correlationof the discrepancy of the looking-glass-self and the actual self with mental health was not statistically significant.
4.Antiepileptic drug trials with greater attention to daily clinical practice and special epilepsy syndromes
Neurology Asia 2007;12(Supplement 1):30-32
Most of the present antiepileptic drug trials focus on efficacy and short-term safety with limited
information relevant for daily clinical practice, such as spectrum of efficacy, effective dose, titration
method, drug interactions, and long-term outcome. Antiepileptic drug trials more akin to daily clinical
practice should also be emphasized in future trials. There are, limited randomized control trials for
certain seizure types or epilepsy syndromes, such as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and severe myoclonic
epilepsy in infancy. The author proposed self-controlled “class S” study in patients who has well-defined
epilepsy syndrome with homogeneity in evolution of illness and high frequency of seizures.
5.Diagnosis and treatment of closed abdominal injuries in infants
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2000;0(12):-
Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of closed abdominal injuries in infants. Methods A retrospectively analysis of the clinical data of 84 infants with closed abdominal injury was made. Results Among the 84 cases, 60 cases had closed parenchymal visceral injury (32 cases of liver and 28 cases of spleen), 10 cases had small intestine perforation, and 14 cases had soft tissue contusion of abdominal wall. Non-operative treatment was used in 27 cases of liver injury and 22 cases of splenic injury, operative treatment in 5 cases of liver injury and 6 cases of splenic injury, and operative treatment for the 10 cases of other types of injury. All the 84 infant patients were cured. Conclusions In diagnosis and treatment of closed abdominal injuries in infants, abdominal centesis, type-B ultrasound and CT should be rationally chosen and applied in order to quickly determine location and extent of visceral injury; indications for operation should be under strict control. Non-operative treatment of parenchymal visceral injury of infants is proved to be safe and with a high cure rate.
6.Study on the Effect of Naringin on Chemokine RANTES Secretion in Human Keratinocyte and NF-?B Signal Pathway
China Pharmacy 1991;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of inflammatory cytokine TNF-? and IFN-? on RANTES secretion in human kera-tinocyte(HaCaT)and the inhibition effect of naringin on induction mechanism by using acitretin as positive control.METHODS:The HaCaT cells were assigned into negative control group, model stimulation group(treated with TNF-?+IFN-?),acitretin pretreatment group(treated with TNF-?+IFN-?+acitretin),naringin pretreatment group(treated with TNF-?+IFN-?+naringin).The concentration of RANTES in HaCaT cells which were stimulated by cytokine TNF-? and IFN-? alone or together after acitretin and naringin were added into stimulators was determined by ELISA assay. The expressions of NF-?B P65 protein in HaCaT cells was detected with immunocytochemical method and Western blot method.RESULTS:The concenctration of RANTES in HaCaT cells which were stimulated by cytokine TNF-? or IFN-? alone or together increased;the greatest concentration was observed in model stimulation group(P
7.Clinical significance of progesterone receptors A and B expressions in endometrial carcinomas
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To determine PRA and PRB expressions at mRNA and protein levels in endome-trial carcinomas, and to correlate the PRA and PRB expressions in tumours with clinical features inclu-ding grading, surgical stage, degree of myometrial invasion, and lymph node status.Methods:Sixty-sixendometrial carcinomas were investigated with Western blot assays and reverse-transcription polymerasechain reaction. The corresponding clinical information was collected.Spearman's rank correlation wasused to test for association between expressions of total PR and PR isoforms in endometrial carcinomas andclinical features. Results:At protein level, expressions of PRA and PRB were significantly inversely re-lated to grade(r=-0.343,r=-0.310,P
