1.Characteristics and adjuvant medical treatment for elderly women with breast cancer
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2017;44(15):733-738
The optimal treatment of elderly women with breast cancer still faces many difficulties. Life expectancy, comorbidity, and functional status influence clinical decision and survival. Standard adjuvant medical treatments should not be withheld from healthy older patients with reasonable life expectancies. In this study, adjuvant medical treatment literatures for elderly breast cancer patients, including endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, and HER2-targeted therapy, were reviewed, focusing on efficacy and toxicity of drugs for elderly women.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2007;21(22):1022-1023
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the repairing effect of ] diethylstilbestrol injection in mucosa injury of nasal septum.
METHOD:
11 cases with perforation of nasal septum were made about 1-2 mm new wound surface around perforation, the cotton piece infiltrated by diethylstilbestrol injection was closed directly to the surface of perforation when the diameter of perforations not more than 8mm, xenoma and auto ethmoid bone were used before using cotton piece infiltrated by diethylstilbestrol injection when the diameter of perforations more than 8mm.
RESULT:
Eleven cases of perforation were cured, the symptoms disappear gradually. There is no reperforation during follow-up six months. There is no adverse effect.
CONCLUSION
The application of ] diethylstilbestrol injection was easy in operation and observation. The price of ] diethylstilbestrol injection was inexpensive, and it is no adverse effect. Curative effect is significant. It is a good method to be used to repair perforation of nasal septum.

Thermogravimetry (TG), TG-MS, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM)-energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) were adopted to investigate the pyrolysis characteristics of calamina. According to the findings of the qualitative and quantitative studies on the changes in the content of relevant elements, the whole shape, the functional groups, and the volatile components of calamina before and after being pyrolyzed, the 200-360, 580-750 degrees C were two sensitive temperature ranges related to the changes in effective component during calamina processing. Thermal weight loss was observed for ZnCO3, Zn(OH)2 and ZnCO3-2Zn(OH)2-H2O under 200-360 degrees C and for CaCO3 under 580-750 degrees C. The results of studies on chemical reaction kinetics showed good linear relations. This experiment integrated relevant methods and theories of physical chemistry and science of traditional Chinese medicine processing, and interpretes calamina processing techniques and mechanism, in order to provide a good example for modem studies on other traditional Chinese medicine processing.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2000;0(06):-
Serum cytokine concentrations were determined in patients with Graves'disease(GD)before and after treatment of thiamazole.Serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R)level was markedly raised before treatment as compared with normal subjects and returned to normal after 3 month therapy.Serum IL-8 level was lowered in GD patients and showed no change after 3 month therapy. No relationship between IL-8 and other markers was found.Serum IL-1?,IL-6 and TNF-?levels in GD patients showed no difference with those in normal controls.

OBJECTIVETo compare the curative effects of primary osteoporosis treated with heat-sensitive point moxibustion and Gaitianli (Oyster Shell and Calcium Carbonate Chewable) tablets for oral administration and explore the treatment mechanism.
METHODSSixty cases of primary osteoporosis were randomly divided into a heat-sensitive point moxibustion group (moxibustion group) and a Gaitianli tablets group (medication group), 30 cases in each group. In the moxibustion group, the heat sensitized points were searched around Zusanli (ST 36), Pishu (BL 20), Shenshu (BL 23) and Mingmen (GV 4) and treated by heat-sensitive point moxibustion; in medication group, Gaitianli tablets were taken by oral administration, 3 pills for once and 3 times a day. The curative effects, bone mineral density (BMD), alkaline phosphatase (S-AKP) and urinary calcium to creatinine ratio (U-Ca/Cr) in both groups were observed before and after treatment.
RESULTSThe total effective rate was 86.7% (26/30) in moxibustion group, superior to that of 76.7% (23/30) in medication group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the BMD of lumbar vertebrae (L2-L4) mean was improved (P < 0.05), and the S-AKP and U-Ca/Cr were reduced (all P < 0.05); in medi cation group, the indexes above were no obvious changes (all P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe therapeutic effect of primary osteoporosis treated with heat-sensitive point moxibustion is superior to that with Gaitianli tablets for oral administration. The mechanism is restraining bone resorption, increasing bone strength, keeping balance of bone metabolism, in order to increase bone mineral density and improve the clinical symptoms.

Objective To investigate the species and diversity of acaroid mites community in home storages in Linquan ar-ea,Anhui Province. Methods The samples of 48 kinds of storages from the residents in Linquan County were collected, and the mites in them were separated in a microscope directly. Results Totally 19 species of acaroid mites belonging to 14 genera of 6 families were obtained from the 48 kinds of samples. The diversity analysis showed that the number of species, the species richness index and species diversity index of mites in the habitats were in the order of the other storages>drysaltery>grains. Conclusion The quantities of breeding acaroid mites in storages in Linquan area are much larger, meanwhile the species are also very rich, thus in order to reduce the harm of acaroid mites,we should take active measures to control their breeding.

Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2018;30(6):656-659
Objective To investigate the densities and species of acaroid mites in stored products in farmer home storages. Methods The mite samples which were collected from the farmers’home in Linquan County, Anhui Province included grains, foods, condiments, fruits and vegetables, and the breeding mites were isolated, then identified and classified after using the mites to make slide specimens. Results Twenty-one species of acaroid mites were obtained, belonging to 7 families and 15 genera. The highest breeding density was in the millet (3 888.89 mite/g) and the lowest was in the fennel (2.03 mite/g), and the frequent breeding species of storages were Tyrophagus putrescentiae and Lepidoglyphus destructor. The average breeding density of acaroid mites in grains was 383.94 mite/g, and the dominant mite species was T. longior. The average breeding density of acaroid mites in condiments was 149.53 mite/g, and the dominant mite species were L. destructor and Chortoglyphus arcuatus. The average breeding density of acaroid mites in foods was 85.15 mite/g, and the dominant mite species were T. putrescentiae, T. longior, T. palmarum, Glycyphagus domesticus and Dermatophagoides farina. The average breeding density of acaroid mites in fruits and vegetables was 49.15 mite/g, and the dominant mite species were Rhizoglyphus robini and T. palmarum. The average breeding density of acaroid mites in other stored products was 25.05 mite/g, and the dominant mite species were T. putrescentiae and L. destructor. Conclusion The species of acaroid mites in home storages are very rich, and it is necessary to take positive measures to reduce the infestation of acaroid mites.
