Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2015;(2):43-45
Foreign language books recommended by readers include those marked with a circle by expert committee , pushed by E-mail, recommended on Internet , marked with a circle in booksellers catalogues , recommended on agentwebsite platforms, recommended on the spot book fair, selected according to bibliometric analysis and readers suggestions .Following suggestions were put forward for the solution of problems in foreign language books recommended by readers, such as immediate feedback, improving the acquisition ability of librarians and their website techniques, strengthening participation of subject librarians, and maintaining the sustainability of reader recommendations .
2.Aeromedical research in the U.S.navy
Military Medical Sciences 2016;40(7):587-592
Objective To analyze the statusquo of the United States Naval Aeromedical Research Development in order to explore the medical context for the development of the U .S.naval aviation .Methods The literatures published by NAMRL between 1975 and 2010 were collected and analyzed using TDA software .Results and Conclusion Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory ( NAMRL ) research was fruitful, the quantity of annual research output was irregular, per capita author posting was not high ,and coauthor size was small .Posting information was oriented to internal and main scientific and technological journals while research focused on the aviation selection , physiological effects , cognition, visual function, physical training and standards , and other areas of radiation protection .Aviation medicine had distinct features. The results are of referential value for keeping track of the U .S.Navy aviation medicine.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(10):27-31
The theories used in construction of military medical ontology are the prerequisite of applying ontology theory to the organization of military medical knowledge, which helps to clarify the concepts in relation with the construction of military medical ontology. The current standards for military medical terms and the difficulties in construction of military medical ontology were analyzed according to the target to be achieved. The basic theories used in construction of military medical ontology were elaborated from its concepts, needs, and complexity.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(4):57-61
An information service platform was constructed for infectious disease epidemic by standard collecting, organizing and systematizing the information of related infectious diseases, which could provide information support service for data store, knowledge share, online education and decision-making. The platform is consisted of special news module, self-developed database module, encyclopedic knowledge module and background management module, and can thus meet the needs of related persons in countries and regions along the One Belt and One Road.

Objective To analyze the use of the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to find problems with the semantic type framework and make it more scientific and comprehensive. Methods Using data driven method, the frequency with which the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine was used in military medical core concepts was statistically analyzed. Results By ranking the use frequency of the semantic types, the semantic types which had higher or lower frequency, and those that had never been used were analyzed. Conclusion The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine is basically consistent with the expression of military medical knowledge and can be constantly updated and improved with the development of military medicine.

Objective To explore the construction method of semantic types of military medical ontology and to establish a framework for the semantic types of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to lay the foundation for the construction of military medical ontology and provide support for knowledge organization, knowledge disclosure and knowledge service of military medical information resources. Methods Using the method of document measurement, the core concept set of military medicine was constructed. On the basis of the framework of the top-level semantic types of Unified Medical Language System(UMLS), the semantic type framework was completed by the combination of bottom-up and top-down modes, using semantic analysis and expert consultation. Results By classifying the same kind of knowledge points of military medicine into one semantic type, the hierarchical structure of the semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine was obtained. Conclusion The proposed method is effective and practical for the construction of the semantic types of military medical ontology. The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine could reconstruct military medical knowledge and provide the basic framework for the establishment of the semantic relationships of the top-level ontology of military medicine.
