Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of mind-regulating and kidney-reinforcing acupuncture in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).Methods Fifty-six patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 28 cases each. The treatment group received mind-regulating and kidney-reinforcing acupuncture and the control group, conventional acupuncture, for a total of 28 days. The American Connell children’s ADHD behavior diagnostic scale and the Chinese version of ADHD SNAP-IV scale-parent form were used as evaluating indicators. The total efficacy rates were compared between the two groups of patients.Results The total efficacy rate was 96.4% in the treatment group and 71.4% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the American Connell children’s ADHD behavior diagnostic scale score and the Chinese version of ADHD SNAP-IV scale-parent form score in the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in the American Connell children’s ADHD behavior diagnostic scale score and the Chinese version of ADHD SNAP-IV scale-parent form score between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Mind-regulating and kidney-reinforcing acupuncture is an effective way to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

To investigate the chemical constituents of the endophytic fungus Penicillium sp. FJ-1 of Ceriops tagal, the chemical constituents were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Their antibacterial activity was tested by paper disco diffusion method. Two compounds were isolated and identified as 7-hydroxy-deoxytalaroflavone (1), and deoxytalaroflavone (2). Compound 1 is a new compound, and compounds 1 and 2 showed weak activity against Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Objective To assess the clinical efficiency of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on cor-onary artery disease patients with complicated lesions (CAD-CL). Methods A total of 252 patients of CAD-CL treated with PCI from August,2002 to September,2009 were enrolled in the study. Clinical data on prognosis e. g, success rate, complication occurrence and major adverse cardiac events were observed. Results Two hundred and forty-four patients with CAD-CL(including chronic obstruction, bifurcation lesion, long lesion and restenosis) were implanted stent successfully(96.83%), with no residual stenosis or residual stenosis less than 20%. There were col-lateral obstructions in 32 patients and artery secret compartment in 48 patients, and restenosis in 15 patients. One patient of acute anterior myocardial infarction complicated by cardingenic shock was in low blood pressure status after two anterior descending artery stent placement, and died after temporary pacemaker implantation and other positive rescue measures. One patient occurred subacute stent thrombosis on the third day, and was cured after occlusive vas-cular recanalization through emergency PCI. Conclusions Percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary artery disease patients with comphcated lesion is safe and effective.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical significance of posterior spinal cord shifting after two different types of laminoplasty for multilevel cervical myelopathy.Methods From June 2004 to September 2007,65 patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy were reviewed in this study,including 41 males and 24 females with an average age was 56.3 years(range,39-75).Among them,33 patients underwent selective laminoplasty and 32 patients underwent open-door laminoplasty.There were no significant differences of preoperative JOA scores and cervical curvature index between two groups.After one year follow -up,the posterior shifting of spinal cord,Japanese Orthopaedics Association (JOA) recovery rate,loss of curvature index and axial symptom for each patient were calculated.ResultsAll cases were followed up for average 34 months(range,26-47).There was significant difference of the postoperative posterior shifting between the two groups,which was(1.4±0.6) mm in selective laminoplasty group and(3.3±1.2) mm in opendoor laminoplasty group,respectively.The average JOA recovery rate was 60.5％±21.3％ and 61.1％±17.9％ in selective laminoplasty and open-door laminoplasty group,respectively.There was no significant difference of JOA recovery rate between the two groups.Loss of cervical curvature indices was 3.3％±1.7％ and 3.1％± 2.4％ in selective laminoplasty and open-door laminoplasty group,respectively,with no significant difference between the two groups.The rate of patients with evident axial symptoms was 18.2％ and 33.3％ in selective laminoplasty group and open-door laminoplasty group,and the difference of the scores of cervical axial symptom was statistically significant.ConclusionThe degree of the postoperative posterior shifting of the spinal cord in open-door laminoplasty group was greater than that in selective laminoplasty group.The posterior shifting of the spinal is correlated with cord,axial symptom but not the recovery rate and curvature index.

Objective To study the clinical application of laparoscope combined with gastroscope surgery in patients with gastric stromal tumor. Methods The clinical data of 50 patients with gastric stromal tumor were retrospectively analyzed. Among them 20 cases were treated with traditional laparotomy (laparotomy group), and 30 cases were treated with laparoscope combined with gastroscope surgery (combination group). The intraoperative bleeding, operation time, postoperative recovery time, postoperative hospitalization time and complications were compared between 2 groups. Results One case in combination group received open surgery (3.33%, 1/30), mainly because of obesity, and tumor rupture occurred in 1 case during operation. All specimens of the 2 groups had no tumor residue. There were no statistical differences in tumor diameter and operation time between 2 groups (P>0.05); the intraoperative bleeding, postoperative recovery time and postoperative hospitalization time in combination group were significantly lower than those in laparotomy group:(26.33 ± 14.21) ml vs. (42.57 ± 15.67) ml, (37.96 ± 8.80) h vs. (60.14 ± 13.41) h and (6.42 ± 2.80) d vs. (12.04 ± 4.69) d, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The 2 groups had no death, stomach bleeding, anastomotic stenosis and anastomotic leakage. The laparotomy group had postoperative incision fat liquefaction in 3 cases and incision infection in 2 cases, and the combination group had pulmonary infection in 1 case. All were cured after symptomatic treatment. Conclusions Laparoscope combined with gastroscope surgery in the treatment of gastric stromal tumors has a short operation time, less blood loss, faster postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery, shorter hospitalization time, and no major complications. It is a more ideal and minimally invasive surgery.

Objective Investigates expression of PTEN(Phosphatase and tensin homology deleted on chromosome ten , PTEN) in bladder transitional cell carcinoma (BTCC) and its clinical significance.Methods Fifty-one cases of bladder transitional carcino -ma, forty-two cases of Cystitis Glandularis(CG) and ten cases of normal bladder tissue 10 cases of normal bladder tissue were collect -ed.All samples were derived from cystoscopic biopsy and were subjected to histopathological examination to confirm the diagnosis .Im-munohistochemistry S-P methods is used to demonstrate the expression of PTEN .Results The positive rate of PTEN expression in BTCC, CG and normal bladder tissue are 58.8%, 81% 100%,and there is statistic significance ( P <0.01) among three groups.51 cases of BTCC are divided into group G Ⅰ ,GⅡ ,GⅢ and Tis -T1 ,T2-T4 ,and there is statistic significance among group G Ⅰ and GⅡ, GⅢ ( P <0.01),between group Tis -T1 and T2-T4 ( P <0.05).Conclusions The reduced expression or loss of PETN might play an important role in carcinogenesis and progression of bladder cancer .The positive rate of PTEN expression was negatively correlated to the clinical and grade staging of tumor .

Objective To investigate the level of professional commitment of student nurses,and explore the impact of student nurses' role conflict and role ambiguity on their professional commitment.Methods From May to June 2014,totally 320 student nurses from a third-level hospital in Tianjin were recruited in this study.And Role Stress Scale and Nursing Professional Commitment Scale were used in the investigation.Results The total score of role stress of student nurses was (44.29±5.53) scores,and the total score of professional commitment of student nurses was (86.12±14.14) scores.Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis showed that student nurses' role conflict was positively correlated with professional commitment,but their role ambiguity was negatively correlated with professional commitment.Conclusion School and hospital managers should adopt effective measures to relieve student nurses' role ambiguity and guide the correct understanding of role conflict to maintain a stable nursing team.

Objective To explore the effects of emotion on cognitive function in patients with depression.Methods Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS) and the typical one-back task were done by 397 patients with depression in Peking University Sixth hospital out-patient and hospitalization during 2012 June to 2013 October.Results Both of the SAS standard score (51.81 ± 11.50) and SDS standard score (62.94 ± 13.06) were significantly related (r=0.125,P＜0.05.r=0.176,P＜0.01) to the reaction time of one-back task ((590.27±213.96)ms),and the correlation between SAS standard score and SDS standard score was significant (r=0.682,P＜0.01).The results of regression analysis suggested that,only SDS score could predict the reaction time of one-back task.Conclusion The emotion of anxiety and depression in patients with depression are correlated with cognitive function,and the emotion of depression is the main factor to affect the cognitive function.

BACKGROUND: With the extensive application of small animal imaging and imaging studies, it requires the investigators to master the cross-sectional anatomy of mice, but the anatomy of mouse nasal cavity and sinuses cannot be obtained through vivisection.OBJECTIVE: To establish a highly precise serial colorful sectional image data set of mice using digital virtual human technology.METHODS: An adult male Balb/c mouse was killed for freezing embedded using modified Kawamoto's method and was then serially scanned at 5 μm of thickness by Leica CM3600XP cryostat microtome. The sectional images were photographed with a 24 million pixels Nikon D750 camera and stored as JPG files. All images were preliminarily registered by manually cropping the images based on the edge of block surface using software photoshop 7.0. Then, the image size, brightness and registration were corrected and adjusted, and the format of the images was unified as TIFF. The data set was imported to Amira 6.0 and was registered again with least square method. The quality of the data set was evaluated by three-dimensional reconstruction. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A total of 6034 original images with a size of 87 GB were captured. After cropping, adjusting and registration, the final size was 184 G. The mouse three-dimensional reconstruction model was satisfactory. To conclude, the data set established using the method and system mentioned above is characterized by high resolution and high-fidelity, which might facilitate the further study of the precise anatomy of mice and other fundamental experiments.

Objective To observe the efficacy of endoscopic resection with thyroid benign tumor. Methods 60 cases of thyroid benign tumor were randomly divided into the endoscopic group and the traditional group, 30 cases in each group. The operation time, blood loss ,drainage volume, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications and hospitalization expenses in two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference ( P >0. 05) between the two groups of postoperative hospital stay; endoscopic group blood loss (25.3 ± 15.6) ml significantly less than the traditional group (57. 2 ± 33. 8) ml, the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05); endoscopic postoperative drainage volume ( 85.6 ± 53.2) ml significantly more than the traditional group ( 23. 5 ±37.2) ml (P < 0. 05); endoscopic operative time of ( 105.3 ± 23. 5) min, while the traditional group ( 80. 4 ±25. 3 ) min, the difference was significant ( P < 0. 05 ); hospitalization costs were significantly higher than conventional endoscopy group ( P < 0. 05). Both groups were not have obvious complications postoperation. Conclusion Compared with traditional open surgery, endoscopic surgery for benign thyroid tumors has advantages of superior cosmetic results and less bleeding,it is a good choice for the treatment of the disease.
