Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a major global public health problem, and myocardial infarction is one of its main causes. The mouse model of heart failure induced by coronary artery ligation is widely used in the study of CHF, while the TCM syndrome attributes of this model have not yet been clarified. According to the theory of correspondence between prescriptions and syndromes, the method of syndrome identification by prescription efficacy is an important means of current syndrome research of animal models. This method deduces the syndrome characteristics of animal models through prescription efficacy. Taking the four basic syndrome elements of Qi, blood, Yin and Yang as the classification reference, this study used coronary artery ligation to construct a mouse model of CHF and treated the model with four representative TCM injections with the effects of replenishing Qi, warming Yang, nourishing Yin, and activating blood and enalapril. Echocardiography, tongue color parameters, histopathology, serum N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ) levels, and systematically explored the TCM syndrome attributes of this model. The results showed that the coronary ligation model presented an obvious cardiac function decline, myocardial fibrosis, infarct size expansion, and purple dark tongue, which were consistent with the basic syndrome characteristics of blood stasis in CHF. Danhong injection had significant effects of improving the cardiac function, alleviating myocardial fibrosis, and reducing serum NT-proBNP and cTnⅠ levels. Huangqi Injection and Shenfu injection can improve the cardiac function and tongue color parameters, with limited effects. The effect of Shenmai injection group was not obvious. This study verifies that the established model conforms to blood stasis syndrome through the method of syndrome identification by prescription efficacy, which provides an experimental basis for the study of TCM syndrome mechanism of CHF.

Chronic heart failure is the terminal stage of various cardiovascular diseases, and cardiomyocyte apoptosis is the turning point of decompensation. Studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) could regulate apoptosis-related signaling pathways and factors and inhibit or up-regulate the expression of apoptosis-related proteins. Thus, TCM can reduce cardiomyocyte apoptosis, protect the myocardial tissue and improve the cardiac function, demonstrating remarkable clinical effects. In recent years, the research on the treatment of chronic heart failure based on the inhibition of cardiomyocyte apoptosis is increasing and becomes the current research hotspot. On the basis of literature review, this paper discovers that TCM regulates apoptosis factors and multiple signaling pathways to inhibit apoptosis and inflammation and delay the progression of chronic heart failure through classical pathways such as the death receptor pathway, the mitochondrial pathway, and the endoplasmic reticulum pathway. At the same time, the studies in this field have the following problems: Repeated studies with shallow, simple, and fragmented contents, treating animal models with TCM prescriptions without syndrome differentiation, treating diseases with drugs at only one concentration which is insufficient to indicate efficacy, and lacking comprehensive, holistic, and systematic studies on the relationships of apoptosis with inflammatory responses, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, and autophagy. In the future, more scientific, reasonable, comprehensive, and feasible experimental schemes should be designed on the basis of comprehensively mastering the research progress in this field, and the communication and cooperation between researchers in different disciplines should be strengthened. The specific pathological mechanism of cardiomyocyte apoptosis in chronic heart failure and the signaling pathways, active components, and action targets of TCM in inhibiting cardiomyocyte apoptosis in chronic heart failure should be elucidated. Such efforts are expected to provide sufficient reference for the clinical treatment of chronic heart failure.

Objective:
To explore the facilitating and hindering factors of mental health promotion activities in junior and senior high schools from teachers perspectives, as well as coping strategies, so as to provide evidence for implementing teacher led mental health promotion programs.
Methods:
From September 2023 to September 2024, by using purposive sampling method, 5 junior high schools, 5 regular high schools, 2 vocational high schools in four provinces and municipalities (Tianjin, Shanxi, Shandong, and Jiangxi) were selected. A total of 92 teachers (78 homeroom teachers and 14 full time or part time psychological counselors) were interviewed using semi structured focus group discussions (one session per school, totaling 12 sessions). Thematic analysis was applied to code and analyze the interview transcripts.
Results:
The implementation of mental health promotion activities in middle schools was influenced by three levels: teachers, schools and society. Specifically, teachers exhibited a high support low capability phenomenon (81 participants supported conducting such activities, but 71 felt lacking in professional capacity); activity effectiveness and support systems were imbalanced (42 mentioned significant effects, while 78 reported insufficient support); there was a mismatch between student demand and activity content (9 mentioned students had psychological needs, but 11 indicated existing activities failed to meet these needs); administrative support and sustainability showed disparities (14 believed sufficient administrative support existed, while 37 noted sustainability issues); parental awareness and participation remained inadequate (11 highlighted parents need for mental health knowledge, and 37 perceived insufficient understanding of psychological issues among parents). Effective strategies included enhancing teachers effectiveness, providing essential skill training, focusing on the needs of teenagers, enhancing program sustainability, and eliminating misconceptions about mental health among parents.
Conclusion
Mental health promotion activities in junior and senior high schools should focus on enhancing teachers skills, improving activity sustainability, reducing stigma among parents, and establishing a collaborative network for school based mental health promotion.

Objective:To understand the evaluation of graduate education quality by medical graduate supervisors in China, to identify the shortcomings of graduate education quality, and to put forward corresponding suggestions. Methods:From October to November 2023, a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the evaluation of school management, supervisor team construction, graduate training process, and graduate training results by 6 025 medical graduate supervisors from 37 universities in China. SPSS 26.0 was used to conduct t-test and analysis of variance to explore the differences in scores given by different supervisor groups for various aspects. Results:The scores given by medical graduate supervisors for school management, supervisor team construction, graduate training process, and graduate training results were (4.63±0.60), (4.59±0.62), (4.58±0.59), and (4.54±0.62), respectively. Supervisors who work in clinical medicine, aged 46-55 years, with 5 or fewer years of teaching experience, supervising master's students, instructing only professional degree students, instructing three or fewer students, holding a bachelor's degree as their highest degree, with the title of professor, holding an administrative position, and working an average of 8-9 hours per day on weekdays and 4 or fewer hours per day on holidays, gave higher scores on all aspects of graduate education quality ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The supervisors gave high scores on the quality of medical graduate education. It is suggested that the quality of graduate education should be continuously improved by optimizing school management systems, strengthening the construction of supervisory teams, and focusing on the process and results of graduate education.

Objective:To investigate the current status of and relationship between practice efficacy, professional identity, and anxiety among public health master's graduates. Methods:From a national survey on the satisfaction with education of fresh medical master's graduates conducted from June to July, 2022, we selected 461 master's graduates of public health with internship experience from 49 institutions. With the use of SPSS 21.0, we compared the scores of practice efficacy, professional identity, and self-rated anxiety by personal characteristics through t-tests and analysis of variance; and explored the mediating role of anxiety in the relationship between practice efficacy and professional identity through stratified regression analysis. Results:The public health master's graduates scored (3.47±1.23) points for anxiety, (3.92±0.88) points for practice efficacy, and (4.33±0.77) points for professional identity. The score of anxiety differed significantly by sex, the degree of being affected by public health emergencies/major outbreaks, and internship initiative (all P<0.05). The score of practice efficacy was significantly different by sex, the type of institution, the degree of being affected by public health emergencies/major outbreaks, and internship initiative (all P<0.05). The score of professional identity differed significantly by sex, the type of institution, major transfer, the degree of being affected by public health emergencies/major outbreaks, internship initiative, and internship duration (all P<0.05). Professional identity was positively correlated with practice efficacy ( r=0.652, P<0.01) and negatively correlated with anxiety ( r=-0.213, P<0.05). The stratified regression results showed that practice efficacy positively influenced professional identity ( β=0.782, P<0.001), and anxiety partially mediated the relationship between the two ( β=-0.104, P<0.05). Conclusions:Anxiety plays a mediating role in the relationship between practice efficacy and professional identity, suggesting that reducing anxiety can help enhance practice efficacy to promote the professional identity of public health master's graduates.

Lipophosphatidic acid(LTA)was used to stimulate Mac-T cells, and the expression lev-els and phosphorylation levels of key proteins of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)and mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway and the expression levels of upstream key action factors TLR4 and MyD88 proteins were detected by Western blot, and EDU assay was used to detect cell proliferation levels and flow cytometry was used to detect apoptosis. The results showed that acti-vation of GPR120 significantly decreased the phosphorylation levels of LTA-induced NF-κB(P65 and IκBα)(P<0.01)and MAPK(JNK,ERK,p38)(P<0.01)in Mac-T cells;inhibition of GPR120 was able to upregulate LTA-induced NF-κB(p65 and IκBα)in Mac-T cells(P<0.01)and MAPK(JNK,ERK,p38)phosphorylation levels(P<0.01);and activation of GPR120 significantly allevia-ted LTA-induced upregulation of TLR4 and MyD88(P<0.01);inhibition of GPR120 significantly exacerbated LTA-induced upregulation of TLR4 and MyD88(P<0.05);LTA stimulation led to a trend of diminished Mac-T cell proliferation and significantly increased apoptosis, whereas activa-tion of the GPR120 gene significantly increased cell activity(P<0.01),promoted cell proliferation and significantly reduced apoptosis(P<0.05)thereby alleviating the damage to Mac-T cells by LTA;LTA stimulation led to a highly significant increase in apoptosis(P<0.01).In contrast,acti-vation of the GPR120 gene significantly reversed the increase in the apoptosis rate of Mac-T cells induced by LTA(P<0.01),while inhibition of the GPR120 gene enhanced the apoptosis-promo-ting effect of LTA(P<0.05),indicating that activation of the GPR120 gene attenuated the in-crease of apoptosis rate caused by LTA-induced inflammatory Mac-T cells. The results suggest that GPR120 can regulate inflammation by mediating TLR4 and MyD88 expression to inhibit NF-κB/MAPK inflammatory pathway activation and can promote cell proliferation.
