Objective To study the mechanism of Danshi Qing Tablet (DQT) in treating cho lelithiasis. Methods Sixty guinea pigs were randomly allocated to five groups : Group A (normal control), Group B (model control), Group C (treated with low d osage of DQT), Group D (treated with high dosage of DQT) and Group E (treated w ith Xiaorong Gandanjieshi Tablet). Guinea pig models of cholelithiasis were esta blished by subcutaneous injection of lincomycin. Results After six weeks of treatment, the content of the bile acid (BA) was higher and the content of tota l bil irubin TBIL and Ca 2+ was lower in Group C and Group D than those in Group B.
