Objectives:To observe the effect of rhGH in the treatment of chronic wasting diseases. Methods:Twenty two cases of chronic wasting diseases needing nutrition support were chosen,including 10 cases of COPD,12 cases of cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage with decubital ulcer in recovery phase.They were in the age of 60～75,in combination with morderate malnutrition.These patients were divided into control group and experimental group.In the experimental group,rhGH(4.5 U/d) was given hypodermically for 10 days.Serum albumin,prealbumin,transferin,24 h urea nitrogen in urine,the surface area of decubital ulcer and mental state were monitored before and after the treatment. Results:In the experimental group,many nutritional indices were increased markedly,24 h urea nitrogen excretion was decreased,the healing of decubitus was faster and mental state was better when compared with control group. Conclusions:The rhGH plays an important role in improving the nutritional status and mental state in patients with chronic wasting diseases. On the base of supplying enough nutrients, rhGH can promote anabolism,reduce the excretion of urea nitrogen in urine, accelerate the healing of decubital ulcer and improve the prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT for non-angle caused nutcracker syndrome(NCS). Methods A total of 177 cases of clinical suspected nutcracker syndrome patients recevied multi-slice spiral CT examination,,inclu-ding 33 patients with negative results,144 cases patients with positive results.The analysis was performed by measuring the angle between superior mesenteric artery(SMA)and the abdominal aorta(AA),and the ratio of the diameter of the narrowest and expan-sion in the left renal vein.Results Within 33 cases of nutcracker-negative patients,the angle of SMA and AA was (46.06 ± 24.46)°;the ratio was (2.11±0.76).144 cases was diagnosed as nutcracker-positive patients,the angle of SMA and AA was (23. 10±9.63)°;the ratio was (3.83±1.24).There was positive correlation between angle and ratio in NCS (P<0.0001).Among9 ca-ses of nutcracker syndrome caused by non-angle factors three were oppressed by the uncinate process pancreas,two cases were caused by the malformations of the left renal vein,one case was posterior nutcracker syndrome,one case was oppressed by portal veinOne case of pressured renal vein due to tortuosity renal vein coiled renal artery.One case of the left renal vein compression lumen narrowing,causing significant downward pressure on the left renal vein.Conclusion Spiral CT angiography reconstruction can clear-ly show the cause and the location of the left renal vein compression,which may provide helpful information in diagnosing nutcracker syndrome caused by non-angle factors.

Objective: To investigate the treatment effect of rational enteral nutrition in stress ulcer bleeding after severe brain injuries.Methods: 30 cases with severe brain injuries accompanied with stress ulcer bleeding were supported by enteral nutrition as clinical treatment group.50 cases with the same conditions were managed with traditional treatment methods as control.Results: All patients in clinical treatment group had no stress ulcer bleeding any more. The nutritional state was improved. On the other hand,the stress ulcer bleeding occurred again and again and the nutritional state was poor.Conclusion: Rational enteral nutrition can treat upper gastrointestinal stress ulcer bleeding in severe brain injuries effectively.

AIM: To establish HPLC fingerprint of Achyranthes bidentata BI..METHODS: Ten batches of Achyranthes bidentata BI from different habitats were measured by RP-HPLC,and their fingerprints were obtained.C18 column was used.Acetonitrile and water gradient elution were adopted as a mobile phase,the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,the detection wavelength was set at 250 nm,the injection volume was 20 ?L,and the column temperature was at 30 ?C.RESULTS: Fifteen common peaks were confirmed in fingerprints.CONCLUSION: This method is simple,credible and of good reproducibility,can be used for the quality control of Achyranthes bidentata BI..

Objective To study the mechanism of tear trough deformity and palabromalar groove deformity.Methods Four old cadavers (2 male,2 female,an average age of 67.2 years) with obvious tear trough deformity and palpbromalar groove deformity and 4 young cadavers (2 male,2 female,an average age of 23.5 years) without tear trough deformity and palpbromalar groove deformity were selected and dissected and histological observation were performed on lower eyelid and periorbital region.Results Compared to young specimens,the skin and orbicularis oculi muscle of old specimens were atrophy and relaxed.Tear trough deformity and palabromalar groove deformity overlaid the junction of thinner eyelid skin and thicker cheek skin.The superior border of the malar fat pad covered the junction of the palpebral and orbital portions of the orbicularis muscle,and correlated with the tear trough and palpbromalar groove,but the superior border of the malar fat pad in young cadavers was found above the tear trough and palpbromalar groove line.The orbicularis retaining ligament arose from the orbital rim and caudal to the junction of the palpebral and orbital portions of the orbicularis muscle,and it was relaxed in old group than that in young group.Conclusions Tear trough deformity and palabromalar groove deformity result from combination of age-related relaxation,atrophy and descent of layers of tissues.The orbital septal and the orbicularis retaining ligament prevent tissues from descending,which makes tear trough deformity and palabromalar groove deformity more visible.

Objective To investigate the effect of mental processing speeds of judging traffic lights varying in location and color meaning. Methods 20 healthy adult male (age: 18 ～30 years) were enrolled in this study. By simulation of traffic lights as picture stimuli, all subjects performed a Go/NoGo task separately under normal condition, location-reversed condition, color meaning-reversed condition and both location and color meaning-reversed condition randomly. The accuracy rate and reaction time of the behavior task were quantified. Results The average accuracy rate of the four conditions was 99. 13% , no differences were found in different traffic light colors and different conditions. In the normal condition,the subjects' reaction time(ms) of traffic lights were as fallowings: red light 491.59 ±71.74; green light 487.55 ±58. 11, no difference was found between the two traffic light colors (P=0.522). In the location-reversed condition, subjects' average reaction time(ms) was respectively for red light 606.29 ± 107.59, and green light 593.13 ± 102.45. In the color meaning-reversed condition, it was respectively for red light 572.08 ±78.75, and green light 592.43 ±87.58. Compared with the normal condition, subjects' reaction time was prolonged in the location-reversed condition (F(1,19)=59.77, P<0.01), and also in the color meaning-reversed condition (F(1,19) =52.55, P<0.01). When in the both location and color meaning-reversed condition, the subjects' reaction time (ms) of traffic lights was respectively 502.92 ± 65.27 for red light, and 508.97 ±63.40 for green light,the result came close to statistical significance(P= 0.065)compared with the normal condition. Conclusion A likely "conceptual constancy" is demonstrated on the basis of prolonging the brains' information processing when location and color information changes.

Objective To investigate the influence of prepubertal exposure to estradiol benzoate (EB)in the male reproductive system of the rats and the natural process of tissue repair,and to clarify the possible mechanism of the reproductive toxicity of exogenous estrogen.Methods Ninety 2 1-day-old male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 2 experimental groups (low dose of EB group and high dose of EB group,n=30)and control group (n=30). The rats in the experimental groups were injected with EB dissolved in peanut oil at 15(low dose of EB group)and 15 000μg·kg-1 (high dose of EB group)respectively,the rats in control group received equal vehicle injection only,once every other day for two weeks from postnatal day(PND)21 to 34.All of them were normally fed after the drug usage was stopped.The testes were harvested at the stages of PND 60 and PND 125(n=15 at each stage).The serum levels testosterone of (T),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),prolactin (PRL)and estradiol(E2)of the rats in various groups were detected with radioimmunology method and the weights of the rats in various groups were recorded;the histological changes of the testes tissue were observed with light microscope.Results On PND60,compared with control group,the T levels in low dose of EB group and high dose of EB group were decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the FSH,LH and E2 levels were increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the PRL levels had no change(P>0.05);the weights of testes were decreased(P<0.01);the histological changes of the testes of the rats in experimental groups included seminiferous tubules maldevelopment, decreased cell number of seminiferous epithelia.Compared with low dose of EB group,the T and FSH levels in high dose of EB group were decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01),the E2 and LH levels were increased(P<0.01),the PRL level had no change (P>0.05 ), and the weight of testes was decreased (P<0.01 );the diameters of seminiferous tubules were smaller,there was no sperm in high dose of EB group while there were a few sperms in low dose of EB group.On PND125,compared with control group,the T,FSH and PRL levels in low dose of EB group and high dose of EB group were decreased(P<0.01),the E2 levels were increased (P<0.01);the LH level in low dose of EB group was increased(P<0.05),the LH level in high dose of EB group was decreased(P<0.01), and the weights of testes in high dose of EB group were decreased(P<0.01);the diameters of seminiferous tubules and the cell number of seminiferous epithelia were increased but not apparent change.Compared with low dose of EB group,the T,LH levels in high dose of EB group were decreased (P<0.01),the E2 and FSH levels were increased(P<0.01),the PRL level had no change(P>0.05),and the weight of testes was decreased(P<0.01);there was still no sperm in high dose of EB group, the number of sperms was increased in low dose of EB group, but it was still lower than that in control group.Conclusion EB is harmful to the reproductive system and can change the normal serum sex hormone levels,even induces the irreversible injury.

Objective To explore optimal initial the best screening time for newborns with different delivery methods using AABR.Methods A total of 550 newborns who were born from August 1, 2016 to October 31, 2016 at our hospital participated in the study.AABR was used to accomplish the initial hearing screening.The newborns were divided into 2 groups according to the delivery methods.There were each 100 neonates born in vaginal during <24 h, 24~48 h and 48~72 h after birth, respectively.The numbers of neonates delivered by cesarean section during the 3 separate periods were 50, 100 and 100, respectively.The newborns who failed the preliminary hearing screening proceeded to the re-screening and diagnostic procedures.Results There were 300 newborns were born in vaginal, and the pass rate in 24~48 h after birth group was significantly higher than that in 24 h group (93.00% vs 83.00%,x2=4.735,P=0.03<0.05), but it was not significantly different from that of 48~72 h group (95.00% vs 93.00%,x2=0.355,P=0.56>0.05).There were 250 newborns in cesarean section, the pass rate of 24~48 h after birth group was significantly higher than that in 24 h group (83.00% vs 68.00%,x2=4.437, P=0.04<0.05), and significantly lower than that of 48~72 h group (94.00% vs 83.00%,x2=5.944, P=0.02<0.05).Conclusion Taking into account of hospitalization time, the screening time for the vaginal delivery newborn hearing screening can be advanced to 24~48 h after birth with the application of AABR, but not for the cesarean section group.

Objective To explore the value of three-dimensional DSA (3D-DSA) in displaying the location of the origin of uterine artery.Methods A total of 90 female patients underwent uterine artery (UA) embolization were enrolled.The bilateral internal iliac artery catheterization were performed by 3D-DSA,then the images were reconstructed in every 5 degree interval to choose the optimum range of viewing angle.The origination and the degree of the origin artery and UA were calculated.The distance between the origin of UA and superior glutea artery which was identified as the locating point was measured.Results Bilateral and contralateral oblique position of ＞30°-60°were the optimal projection positions of UA.Totally 64.44％ (116/180) of UA originated from the anterior trunk of internal iliac artery,18.33％ (33/180) originated from the inferior gluteal trunk,9.44 ％ (17 / 180) originated from the internal pundenal artery,5.56 ％ (10 / 180) originated from internal iliac artery,and 2.22％ (4/180) originated from the superior gluteal artery;10.56％ (19/180) of the angle of the origin artery and UA were 0-30°,38.89％ (70/180) were ＞30°-60°,41.11％ (74/180) were ＞60°-90°,4.44％ (8/180) were＞90°-120°,2.78％ (5/180) were＞120°-150°,2.22％ (4/180) were＞150°-180°.Distance between the origin of UA and superior gluteal artery was 3.04-18.31 mm,average was (11.71±4.28)mm.Conclusion 3D-DSA can clearly display the origination,viewing angle and the distance away from superior gluteal artery.

Objective To investigate the efficacy ,safety and compliance of mesalazine sustained‐release (SR) granules taking once daily or multi‐times daily in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis .Methods Sixty patients with mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis were divided into group A ,B and C with 20 patients in each group .Group A received mesalazine SR granules 4 g once daily ,Group B with 2 g each time and twice daily ,Group C with 1 g each time and four times daily . The total course was eight weeks . The vital signs ,Mayo score ,compliance and adverse effects of patients were monitored at 0 ,4th ,8th weeks .At 0 and 8th weeks ,colonoscopy were performed . The parameters of efficacy assessment were clinical complete remission rate , clinical remission rate , efficacy rate ,mucosal healing rate ,remission time and safety .The F test ,t test or Chi‐square test was performed for comparison among groups .Results The clinical complete remission rate of group A ,B and C was 20% (4/20) ,10% (2/20) and 10% (2/20) ,respectively .The clinical complete remission rate was 70% (14/20) ,65% (13/20) and 70% (14/20) ,respectively .The efficacy rate was 95% (19/20) ,85%(17/20) and 90% (18/20) ,respectively .The mucosal healing rate was 70% (14/20) ,60% (12/20) and 50% (10/20) ,respectively .The side effects rate was 20% (4/20) ,15% (3/20) and 20% (4/20) .There was no significant difference between groups (all P > 0 .05) .The remission time of group A and B was (15 .4 ± 3 .7) days and (15 .6 ± 2 .9) days ,which were both shorter than that of group C (18 .4 ± 3 .6) days ,and the differences were statistically significant (t= 2 .661 and 2 .710 ,both P< 0 .05) .There was no significant difference among three groups in gender ,disease course , severity , location and clinical remission rate of sub‐groups .Conclusions The efficacy and safety of mesalazine SR granules taking once daily or multi‐times daily are similar in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis .Once daily have better compliance than other regimens .
