Objective To transmit ECG signals through a portable dual-mcu ECG holter based dual-port RAM.Methods Dual-port RAM had two independent address,data and control buses,which allowed the two processors accessed it's resource independently at different time.The master processor buffered the acquired data on its RAM until the data accumulated to 200 Bytes.Then the 200 Bytes would be transferred into the dual-port RAM at one time.The slave processor was informed to fetch the data when it reached the flash's one whole page.Results Problems in such aspects were conquered as the port contention of dual-port RAM,limiting sampling frequency,data sharing between the master and slave processors as well as acquiring signals by the cache.Conclusion The portable dual-mcu ECG holter based dual-port RAM can be applied to transmission of ECG signals.

Objective:Since 1996,the esophageal stent of the curved type has been applied clinically by authors in order to solve the defects which the straight tube like stent could not coincide with the shape of the esophageal of the patient.Methods:The curved type stent made of "Z" type stainless steel was implanted after fixing it direction along the selected esophagus.Results:The application of the esophageal stent of the curved type in 29 cases indicated that the stents were coincidence with the folded esophagus,could decreases the pain and discomforts of the patients,and improved the stability of the stents.Conclusion:The esophageal stent of the curved type applied to the folded esophagus is much more effective clinically than the straight tube like type used before. Aim To assay the mutagenicity of Enphorbia lunulata(EL) decoction and to modify the Ames test for evaluation the mutagenicity of herbal medicine samples.Method The mutagenicity of EL decoction was assayed by standard Ames test; the teratogenicity was done by mammalian bone marrow chromosomal aberration test. In modified Ames test system,the influence of histidine EL decoction was excluded by additional negative control, in which the test media was supplied with histidine (histidine amount equaled to the histidine in different concentration of EL decoction).Result The mutagenicity of EL decoction was positive in the standard Ames test. The teratogenicity of EL decoction was negative in mammalian bone marrow chromosomal aberration test. By the modified Ames tests,the mutagenicity of EL decoction was negative.Conclusion The standard Ames test is not suitable for evaluating the mutagenicity of EL decoction, but the modified Ames test is. The mutagenicity in vitro and the teratogenicity in vivo of EL decoction are all negative.

AIM Objective By comparing E.coli's resistance to antibiotics and Chinese medical herbs before and after incubated in LB containing Neomycin or Chinese medical herbs, we try to understand the difference in their mechanism of resistance. METHODS We incubated E.coli cells under the culturing media with low concentration of Neomycin and Chinese medicine herbs respectively; lately, the culturing process were continued under the media with no Neomycin or Chinese medicine herbs. We tested the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MIC)of Neomycin(Kanamycin, Gentamicin, Tetracyclin etc) and Chinese medical herbs to culture cells. Result The experimental data indicated that increased resistance of population cells in the broth including Neomycin happened easily, as well as multi resistance simultaneously. As for the Chinese medical herbs, the case is different. After growing in the LB containing one of Huang Lian (rhizoma coptidis), Berberine or San-Huang-Tang of low concentrations, population cells did not increase their resistance either to antibiotics or to Chinese medical herbs. Removing the pressure of Neomycin, E.coli population cells resistance came back to the initial level. CONCLUSION The increased antibiotic resistance of population cells is unstable, and alternative using of different antibiotics maybe contribute to the alleviation of antibiotics resistance.

The changes of serum malondialdehyde, myeloperoxidase, total antioxidant capacity, superoxide dismutase activity, and glutathione peroxidase were observed in patients with Graves′ disease. The myeloperoxidase level increased in patients with Graves′ disease. The balance between oxidation and antioxidative defense was disrupted in patients with newly-onset Graves′ disease. Oxidative stress seems to be related to hyperthyroidism.

Objective To compare two verification tools for intensity modulated radiotherapy (IM-RT) and to investigate the feasibility of a new three dimensitional verification tool. Methods Five patients receiving IMRT were randomly chosen for the quality assurance plans with MapCHECK Model 1175 (SunNu-clear, Melbourne, FL,USA) and Delta4(ScandiDos, Sweden) by using Philips Pinnacle 8.0D treatment planning system. Dose verification was measured with the Varian Clinical 23EX LA. Results The overall average percentages of pass points in DD2% DTA2 mm, DD3% DTA3 mm and DD4% DTA4 mm were 84.7%, 97. 1% and 99.3% with MapCHECK Model 1175, 86.2%, 98.2% and 99.6% with Delta4 re-spectively. The differences were statisticically significant (t = 3.94, P = 0.003 ; t = 3.17, P = 0.011 ; t = 3.05 ,P =0.014,respectively). The gantry angle was changed to zero degree with MapCHECK, but not with Delta. The effects were embodied with Delta, such as the gravity on leaf position accuracy of MLC, the treat-ment table on dose distribution and the earth magnetism on dose system. Conclusion Delta4 is an ideal verification tool for intensity modulated radiotherapy.

Objective To investigate the current status of job burnout among anesthetists in Ningxia and to analyze its related risk factors.Methods A total of 310 anesthetists from 30 public hospitals in Ningxia were conducted to collect data on the job burnout by Maslach Burnout InventoryHuman Services Survey (MBI-HSS).The factors associated with severe job burnout and its three domains (high emotional exhaustion,high depersonalization and low personal accomplishment) were included in the multinomial logistic regression analysis.Results The incidence of job burnout and its three domains (high emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and low personal accomplishment) were 18 (5.81％) cases,134 (43.22％) cases,35 (11.29％) cases and 128 (41.29％) cases,respectively.Multinomial logistic regression analysis results indicated that the risk degree associated with job burnout was master and higher degree (OR=4.695,95％CI 1.556-4.172).The risk facts associated with three components of job burnout were work time per week [40-60 h (OR=4.420,CI 2.504-7.802);≥60 h (OR =7.469,95％CI 1.758-31.733)] and tertiary hospital (OR =1.847,95％oCI 1.112-3.069);master and higher degree (OR=2.306,95％CI 1.032-5.155),working years [6-15 years (OR=0.358,95％CI 0.135-0.949)] and cases of anesthesia per year [≥390 cases (OR =3.352,95％CI 1.301-8.639)];secondary hospital (OR =1.717,95％CI 1.045-2.823).Conclusion This survey indicates that job burnout exists among anesthetists in Ningxia and is mainly displayed in emotional exhaustion and low personal accomplishment domains.Master and higher degree tend to occur serve job burnout.
