1.Clinical Research of Tang Shen Ning in Treating Early Stage of Diabetic Nephropathy with Types of Deficiency of both Vital Energy and Yin and Collaterals Siltation and Stagnant

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Tang Shen Ning(TSN,a prescription of traditional Chinese medicine)for curing the early stage of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods: Adopting random and double-blind controlled trial methods,several indexes were observed in terms of uric micro-amount albumin excretion rate,creatinine clearance,hemorheology and platelet function et al.Results: TSN could significantly reduce urinary albumin,glomerulus's hyper-filtration,improve blood stream transform and inhibit platelet aggregation.Conclusion: TSN could protect renal functions during the early stage of DN.
2.Chemical constituents from Myricaria alopecuroides.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the chemical constituents in the leaves and branches of Myricaria alopecuroides.
METHODSolvent extraction method was employed to extract and partition. The chemical constituents were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, highly porous resin HP-20. The structures of the compounds were elucidated on the basis of physiochemical properties and spectral analysis.
RESULTEleven compounds were isolated from this plant and identified as ellagic acid 3,3',4-trimethylether (1), ellagic acid 3,3'-dimethylether (2), isorhamnetin (3), kaempferol (4), 3, 5-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid (5), daucosterol (6), 6,7,10-trihydroxy-8-octadecenoic acid (7), quercetin (8), gallic acid (9), palmitic acid (10), hexadecanoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxypropyl ester (11).
CONCLUSIONExcept 8 and 9, all compounds were isolated from M. alopecuroides for the first time. Compound 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 11 were obtained from the genus Myricaria for the frist time.

3.Application of rice bag in 1.5T MR imaging in maxillofacial

Objective To investigate the application value of rice bag in 1.5T MR imaging of maxillofacial frequency selective saturated fat suppression(FS)sequence.Methods Forty-one patients with maxillofacial MR examination were collected.Rapid fast spin echo(FSE)FS T2 routine scan and rice bag FSE FS T2 special scan were used to evaluate and analyze the sequence images of the two kinds by two experienced associate chief physicians in the department according to the Likert 7-point scoring system.The evaluation included FS,magnetic sensitive artifact,motion artifact,and overall image quality.Wilcoxon sign rank sum test was used to analyze the difference of image quality scores,and Kappa consistency test was used to analyze the correlation between two viewers.Results All the 41 patients completed the examination,and the FSE FS T2 plus rice bag group had significantly higher FS,magnetic sensitive artifact,motion artifact and overall image quality than the conventional FSE FS T2 group,with statistical significance(P<0.01).Kappa consistency was good in correlation analysis between the two viewers(Kappa value=0.737-0.877,P<0.01).Conclusion The application of rice bag in the 1.5T MR maxillofacial FS sequence scan has the advantages of good image quality,good FS effect and few artifacts,which can better display the maxillofacial anatomical structure and lesions,and has important clinical application value for the diagnosis of maxillofacial diseases.
