Traditional medicine describes common flu as excessof blood and bile heat combined with microbes which results infectious heat. Deva-5is a decoction used which treats infectious heat. The aim of this study is to analyze components of Deva-5 decoction by traditional methods. Deva- 5 is composed of Gentianadecumbens L., Terminalia Chebula Retz., Polygonium bistorta L., Momordica cochinchinensis (Lour) and Chiazospermum erectum Bernh. It has a cool power and dispels infectious heat andkills microbes. The main component of the decoctionis Gentiana decumbens L. Ithas a sweat taste and clears heat, kills microbes, and cures typhus. Medical practitioners of Mongolia, Tibet, and Tuva use Gentiana decumbens L.as a substitution to deva (sngo-de-ba).It has a bitter taste and a cool power. It also has antimicrobial and heat clearing effects. All components of Deva-5 decoction have a cool power and the decoction is compounded by power.

Introduction: Although the physic-chemical nature and compounds of Otgontenger spring have been relatively studied over the last years, no any substantial scientific work was done in regard to its therapeutic action and significance. It is known that during gastritis, chronic hepatitis and rheumatism macro and micro elements and biologically active compounds dramatically decrease within cells of each related organ and the processes of cell’s bioenergy, bio-synthesis, and re-synthesis [1.2] are imbalanced that leads to loss of cell’s divisibility and its rejuvenescence. Consequently, disbalance in blood coagulation, micro-circulation, ischemia, hypothermia, reperfusion substantial decrease of endurance to anti-oxidant deficiency and anti-radical activity weakness are observed. So, our study has been done basing on our hypothesis that macro and micro elements as well as biologically active compounds in Otgontenger resorts as sulphate ion (SO42-), azotes (N2), hydrosulfuric acid (H2S), oxygen (О2), carbonate ion (СO32-), chloral ion (CL-), hydrogen (Н2), carbonic acid (СО2,) could replace the biologically regulative agents which are cardinally shortened and becoming the main factor of pathologies [3. 4].Goal: The goal of this study is to investigate treatment activity “Otgontenger” resorts treatment experimental conditions. It is purposed to define the redoxy-potentiality and anti-radical activities of Otgontenger resorts.Materials and Methods: The study was conducted at the Central Scientific Laboratory of Monos Medical University between 2009-2011. Otgontenger mineral water was transported in a package accordingly to the Mongolian Standard “The Technical requirements to mineral water of treatment and drinking intent” (MNS 3651: 2005). In order to determine the anti-radical activity of the mineral water each portion of the studying water is dissolved in ethanol. After that 0.1 and 0.2 mlg are taken from these solutions and are added to 1.5 mlg of alfa, alfa-demetilpicril-gydralice suspension. The solution is shaken well and once color deeply changed it was defined at 517 HM through spectrophotometer by B.Yu. Kulikov’s method (1995, 1996). In regard to Osmos’s endurance property, 16 white experimental rabbits are taken by mouth 1.0 mlg/200 grams each from the mineral water number 1 of the 1st group, number 18th of the 4th group and number 47th of the 7th group respectively two times a day for the consecutive five days. The blood is taken and centrifuged in a way that serum is segregated and 0.5 mlg of 10 percent erythrocytes is separated. Consequently, 5.0 mlg of distilled water is added and hymolize is carried out. Once gymolize is fully done, supernatant is separated after centrifuge and absorption is measured at 420hm by spectrophotometer. In regard to defining hydropereoxide endurance, the white rabbit is taken by mouth 1.0 mlg/200 grams each from the mineral water number 1 of the 1st group, number 18th of the 4th group and number 47th of the 7th group respectively two times a day for the consecutive five days. The blood is centrifuged and serum is segregated. The blood is taken and centrifuged in a way that serum is segregated and 0.5 mlg of 10 percent erythrocyte is separated. Consequently, 3.0 mlg of Н202 is added and hymolize is carried out. Once gymolize is fully done, supernatant is separated after centrifuge and absorption is measured at 420hm by spectrophotometer. Results: It has been defined that antiradical activity in the erythrocytes’ 4th compartment of the white rabbits taken mineral water number 18th of the 4th group and number 1st of the 1st group increased by 1.11-1.12 times compared to the group not taken, whereas, decreased by 1.1 times by the impacts of the mineral water under 47th number of the 7th group (Table 1). It is shown that the mineral water has effects to increase proton flows at mitochondria membranes and donators’ oxidation, because antiradical activity of the second compartment of the rabbit’s erythrocytes has gone down by 1.13-1.16 times compared to the group not taken because of the mineral water under number 18 of the 4th group and number 1 of the 1st group and number 47 of the 7th group. If we see table 2 and picture 2, it is proved that mineral water has effects to accelerate oxygen flow to erythrocytes or acceptors’ diffusion and as well energy supply because membrane’s peroxide endurance of erythrocytes’ fourth compartment of the white rabbit decreased by 1.11-1.12 times under the influence of Otgontenger resorts number 18 and 1 of the 4th and 1st groups respectively and as well osmos’s endurance property of membrane of the erythrocytes’ 4th compartment decreased by 1.2-1.22 times compared to those not taken it. If we see picture 3, it is proved that mineral water has effects to accelerate oxygen flow to erythrocytes or acceptors’ diffusion and energy supply because membrane’s peroxide endurance of erythrocytes fourth compartment of the white rabbit decreased by 1.11-1.12 times under the influence of Otgontenger resorts with numbers 18 and 1 of the 4th and 1st groups respectively and as well osmos’s endurance property of membrane of the erythrocytes’ 4th compartment decreased by 1.2-1.22 times compared to those not taken it.From picture 4 it can be seen that under the influence of some types of Otgontenger mineral water as 18th number of the 4th group and the first number of the 1st group MDA contained in the second compartment of the white rabbit decreases by 1.11-1.12 times compared to the control group not taken and as well osmoses’ endurance of the erythrocytes’ 4th compartment membrane declines by 1.2-1.22 times which means they have effects to accelerate oxygen flow to erythrocytes or acceptors’ diffusion and consequently energy supply. We can see from picture 5 that under influence of mineral water with number 47 of the 7th group, the oxidise-ferment activity of erythrocytes’ second compartment serum has decreased two times for the control group compared to the ones not taken the mineral water. Moreover, the oxidise-ferment activity of erythrocytes’ first compartment declined by 1.2 times as a result of the mineral water with number 47 of the 7th group. That means that the mineral water suppresses the ferment activity of lipoproteidlipaza but makes the flow of redoxy-line protons accelerated. Conclusion: It has been defined that Otgontenger mineral water has high antitoxic effects to reduce free radicals like DPHH.

Foundation: Not many research and study has been made on locating moxibustion pointsand its’ relating pain. That’s why there is asignificant need for this particular research. Purpose: We will compare the Mongolian scientists’ studyand research from “Mongolian Traditional Moxibustion Script” on head-point moxibustion with some of the classic studies from the Far East and define the distinctive features. The subject of study and method of research:We’ve studied and compared the “Mongolian Traditional Moxibustion Script” with “The Four Medical Tantras” “Blue Beryl”, “Lighting the darkness of the luminance of regulation”.We’ve used hermeneutics and comparisons in our study. Result:One of the main subjects of the study, head-point moxibustion in “MongolianTraditional Moxibustion Script” was also similar with the head-point moxibustion and treatment instructions of “The FourMedical Tantras”, “Blue Beryl” and “Lighting the darkness of the luminance of regulation”. We’ve encountered three moxibustion points that are in the same site with different treatment instructions. Also there were 9 points not mentioned in the above 3 scripts, but were included in the “Mongolian Traditional Moxibustion Script”. Summary:By studying the “Mongolian Traditional Moxibustion Script”, it was clear that moxibustion is generally effective on pains from predominant cool, rlungbadgan.Although the moxibustion points were similar on some other scripts, the divergent treatment instructions became the distinctive feature. Discussion: Moxibustion is generally used on pains from predominant cool, rlungbadgan. This type of pain originates from the “Mongolian subsistence” and the best cure for it is moxibustion. Therefore we need to explore and improve moxibustion with wise management and planning.

There is a tendency of increasing inflammatory diseases tract caused by autoimmune reaction of skeletal system. According to annual report Ministry of health, Mongolia above mentioned chronic diseases such as inflammatory disease of digestive system nomelyhepatobiliary tract diseases kidney and urinary tract disease are mostly common cases inpatients. The aim of this study is to investigate treatment activity “Otgontenger” resorts treatment experimental conditions. “Otgontenger” resorts is liver-protective antioxidants and its effects on the membrane pereoxidation, on the ulcer sample created at a white rat’s stomach However, a complex study on “Otgontenger” resorts treatment effect is
not touched by researchers until today however, scientific significant complex study on the spring’s treatment has not been studied yet by researchers. At Monos Scientific Research Center we took 30 rats of Vistar breed with the weight of 200g. We divided them into three groups as following: 10-normal group; 10-control group; 10-experimental group taken “Otgontenger” resorts (1st group, №18 spring) were give to the test animals per 4,32 mg/kg, 2 times a day during 10 days. Our experimental work has showed “Otgontenger” resorts is liver-protective antioxidants and its effects on the membrane pereoxidation, were give to the test animals per 4,32 mg/kg, 2 times a day during 10 days. By testing the “Otgontenger” resorts we have determined that the on the ulcer sample created at a white rat’s stomach was increased ulcer area 1.61- 2.0 times in comparison with control group. This data proves that the treatment effect of Otgontenger’s spring was increasing. The Aspartateaminotransferase
(ASAT) U/L, Alanineaminotransferase (ALAT (U/L), glutamicoxaloacetictransaminase (GOT) U/L,
Lactatedehydrogenase (LDH) U/L, Alkaline phosphatase (ALK) U/L, billirubinmmol/gl etc. were reported. (Table 1). Amount of Aspartateaminotransferase (ASAT) was after the dose of Otgontenger’s spring was 1,02 times lower (r<0.05)more than the control group’s, and glutamicoxaloacetictransaminase (GOT) was after the dose of Otgontenger’s spring was 1,6 times lower (r<0.05)more than the control group’s (Figure 1) As we see in case “Otgontenger” resorts bread
has the effects to decrease the inflammation area of the stomach mucous membrane and to accelerate renovation process .Conclusions: Having studied the effects of “Otgontenger” resorts on the digestion process, we have made the following conclusions: 1. We have compared the serum of animal’s blood, proves the hepatoprotective effect of the “Otgontenger” resorts 2. It decreases the area of the mucous membrane ignition and accelerates its renovation in a stomach ulcer case.

Journal of Oriental Medicine 2012;3(2):24-24
In this study, the effects of traditional drugs such as Zachun-13 and
Sampilnorov on serum levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in mice
model of arthritis induced by formalin were examined. Moreover, the
effect of traditional external therapies including acupuncture,
cauterization, pricking-cupping and massage on serum TNF levels in
patients with spinal disk herniation and long-term back muscle
injury.
The study was done at the Research Center of Monos Medical
University. Arthritis was induced by formalin (0.5 g/kg) injection into
the phalangeal joints of mice. Sampilnorov and Zachun-13 were
administered daily through oral tube at concentration of 42.5 mg/kg
and 14 mg/kg respectively. Serum levels of TNF were determined 1,
3 and 7 days after initiating the treatment. Acupuncture,
cauterization, pricking-cupping and massage were applied to
patients once a day for 10 days.
After 1 day of treatment, serum levels of TNF was increased 3.09
fold by formalin administration compare to control. This increase
was reduced by Sampilnorov and Zachun-13 1.19 and 1.8 fold
respectively. Serum levels of TNF were increased 3.0 fold in mice
after 3 days of formalin administration. Sampilnorov and Zachun-13
reduced these increases 1.17 and 1.93 fold respectively.
Serum levels of TNF increased 15.2 fold in patients with spinal disk
herniation and long-term back muscle injury compare to normal
range of TNF level. Acupuncture, cauterization, pricking-cupping
and massage reduced increased serum levels of TNF in patients 1.3
fold.
These results indicate that traditional drugs Zachun-13 and
Sampilnorov and traditional external therapies including
acupuncture, cauterization, pricking-cupping and massage can be
effective for treatment of joint conditions by inhibiting TNF
production.
