2.Study on nodification process of component contents in the essential oil of (Artemisia annua l).in Vietnam and Bulgaria
Pharmaceutical Journal 2003;9(6):15-16
In Vietnam and Bulgaria, accumulation of essential oils of Artemisia annua L. depending on the period of it's growth, was investigated. The content change of compound is significant with 3 phases: Phase 1 - From tree began growth to first 6 months, phase 2 - from second month to fourth month, phase 3 - from fifth month to sixth month (the tree is in flower). Concentration of artemisia annua L. is highest at phase 3 when the tree is in flower

3.Chemical components of essential oil of Mentha piperita L. collected from Sapa – Lao Cai and now cultivated in Co Nhue, Tu Liem district – Ha Noi
Pharmaceutical Journal 2003;326(6):13-16
Mentha piperita L.Mentha piperita L. was collected from Sapa, Lao Cai province and cultivated at Co Nhue – Tu Liem – Ha Noi. The content of the essential oil in fresh branches of this peppermint was about 0.16%. Its green yield is 1.85-2.10 Kg/m2. First time in Vietnam, the chemical composition of peppermint oil was analyzed by GC/MS and 43 constituents were identified. The main constituents were L-menthol (47.60%), menthol (24.10%), menthofuran (6.07%) and 1.8 cineol (5.55%), pulegone (4.22%). Base on these data. The quality of Sa Pa peppermint oil is good as one from native origin. Peppermint collected from Sa Pa enrich the gene source of medicinal plant in general and particularly the gene source of essential oil plant group of Vietnam

5.Study on the chemical components of the essential oil of Baeckea frutescence L. Vietnam.
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;274(2):7-83
For the first time, the chemical composition of the essential oil of Baeckea frutescens L. growing in Qu¶ng B×nh, Vietnam was investigated by means of GC, GC-MS, IR and 1H-NMR. 33 terpenoid components of the oil were identified. Monoterpennoids are the most abundant constituents of Baeckea oil. -Thujene (5.96%), -pinene (14.79%), -pinene (25.17%), p-cymene + limonene (11.09%), 1.8-cineol (10.12%), -terpinene (12.26%), linalool + terpinolene (5.12%) are the major components of the oil.

7.Some results in study on Japanese peppermint SK-33
Pharmaceutical Journal 1998;272(12):10-11
This paper presents the study on Japanese mint SK-33 (M.arvensis L.) and its essential oil. After 3 years cultivated and observed this mint at CoNhue - TuLiem-Hanoi, we have some following notes: its essential oil content at full flowering stage is about 0.64-0.71% in fresh aerial part of plants, 1.38-1.55% in fresh leaves and flowers, 5.13-5.29% in absolute dry leaves and flowers. The chemical composition of this oil was analyzed by GC/MS, 32 constituents were identified. The main constituents are menthol (81.79%), menthone (7.86%), isomenthone (4.95%). Japanese mint SK-33 has rather high content of essential oil, good quality and can create a large quantity of underground stems. It is prospective new mint form for cultivation at large area in our country.

8.Study on chemical composition of essential oil of wild Hyptis suaveolens (L) Poit. in some provinces of South Vietnam
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(2):14-15
Analysis on chemical contents of essential oil of Hybtis suaveolens (L) Poit collected in Ninh Thuan, Vung Tau and Phu Quocs showed that: 41 ingredients in essential oil of wild Hybtis suaveolens (L) Poit were identified by chromatography combining with mass spectrum. Hybtis suaveolens (L) Poit collected in others local but its compositions were rather similar. Major compositions was beta-caryophylen (30.35-44.27%) and 1,8-cineol (7.34-28.20%). In addition, some familiar monoterpens such as alpha - pinen, beta-pinen, sabinen, myrcen were in all three essential oils. Essential oil of Hyptis suaveolens (L.) Poit. had strong scent. With rather high content of sesquiterpen, essential oil of Hyptis suaveolens (L.) Poit. can be used as flavouring indicator in flavouring technology

Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2004;9(6):179-182
By a combination of gas-chromatography and gas-chromatography/mass spectrum, the chemical compositions of volatile oil of Co Lao (Eupatorium odoratum –L.) collected from Nghe An (NA) and Ha Tinh (HT) provinces were identified. Volatile oil contents from NA sample was 0,28%, HT 0,25%. The samples have got yellow color, lighter than water, characterized odor. Volatile oil is a mixture of 60 compounds,-39 in NA samples and 37 in HT. The main components of volatile oil are geijerene, germacrene-D and alpha pinene
