Objective To establish a simple, sensitive and accurate analytical method to determine 15 elements in drinking water-related products soak test. Methods Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was employed to determine 15 elements in the soaking liquid. Sc, Ge, In and Bi were used as the internal standard substances. Results The test results showed the linear correlation coefficients for all elements were more than 0.999, the recovery rate were 80.6%-120.0% and precision was fine, RSD was lower than 6.0 %, the test results also showed a close agreement with the reference values in test of reference materials of GSBZ 50009-88, GSBZ 500019-90, GSBZ 50004-88 and GSBZ50039-95. Conclusion This method is simple, rapid, sensitive, accurate and suitable for determination of 15 elements in drinking water-related products soak test.

Based on investigating the protection and possible mechanism of LC on acute hepatic injury in mouse induced by medicine,we discussed the procedure of scientific research and analyzed in detail the enlightenment in the experiment.

Objective To investigate the expression of miR?126, miR?355 and exportin?5 in lung cancer. Methods The cancer tissue and the tissue adjacent to carcinoma of 47 cases of patients with lung cancer was used to detect the expression of miR?126, miR?355 and Exportin?5 by the real?time fluorescence quantitative PCR. Results Significant difference of the expression of miR?126 (t=2.02,P=0.03) and exportin?5 (t=4.62,P<0.01) was observed in lung cancer tissue and tissue adjacent to carcinoma. Mature miR?126 and pri?miR?126 (R=0.309 , P = 0.044) had a negative correlation in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma. In the cancer tissue,miR?126 and MRP (R=0.432, P=0.019), miR?335 and k167 (R=0.410, P=0.033) were positively correlated, however, exportin?5 and TOPO (R=0.357, P=0.045), the pri?miR?126 and drinking (R=0.340, P=0.024), the pri?miR?126 and MRP (R=0.427, P=0.027) had a negative correlation relationship. Conclusion Expression of miR?126 and exportin?5 was decreased in lung cancer tissue, which may contribute to the occurrence and development of lung cancer.

Objective To explore the MRI features of patients with multiple system atrophy (MSA) and Parkinson's disease (PD) for providing early evidence in differential diagnosis. Methods The MRI features of 24 patients with MSA, 30 patients with PD and 30 healthy people as controls were retrospectively analyzed. Abnormal intensity in MRI included the hot-cross bun sign and the slitlike changes. The atrophies of brain included cerebellar, middle cerebellar peduncles, medulla oblongata and pon. Cerebral ventricle dilatation included fourth ventricle and cisterna pontis. The midbrain area, pons area and middle cerebellar peduncles width were measured. Results All patients with MSA had at least one of the features observed on MR images, and there were some differences in the subtypes of MSA. The high sensitive features were the atrophies of middle cerebellar peduncles (79.2%), the atrophies of pons (79.2%) and the hot-cross bun sign (75.0%). The parameters with high specificity and high positive predictive value were hot-cross bun sign (both 100%), the slit-like sign (both 100%), the atrophies of middle cerebellar peduncles (93.3% and 90.1%), and the atrophies of pons (96.7% and 95.0%). MSA group had the statistically significantly decreased values of pons area, midbrain area and middle cerebellar peduncles width [(288. 7±75. 4) mm2, (127.8±25.8) mm2 and (10. 7±2.8) mm, respectively], as compared with PD group [(477. 5 ± 54. 3) mm2, (145.9±21.6) mm2 and (16.2±1.3) mm, respectively] and healthy group [(454. 5±36. 8) mm2 , (146.4±17.4) mm2 and (16.7±1.2) mm, respectively] (all P ＜0. 05). Conclusions The routine MRI is helpful in differential diagnosis between MSA and PD and has some values in diagnosing the subtypes of MSA.

Objective To study the relationship between sensation seeking,personality characteristics and health-risk behaviors of medical freshmen.Methods Sensation Seeking Scale ( SSS),Eysenck Personality Questionnaire( EPQ),Adolescent Health-Risk Behaviors Questionnaire were applied in this survey to 384 freshmen from two medical colleges.Results ① The health risk behaviors were comnmon in the medical college freshmen (5.2％,48.2％ ),and the score of health risk behaviors had a significant difference between boys and girls,boys risk behaviors were much more than girls(P＜ 0.05 ).②The correlations between the risk behaviors (such as smoking,drinking,fighting,suicidal ideas,using internet too long,poor eating behavior,lack of physical exercise) and sensation seeking personality traits were strong.The health-risk behaviors were all correlated with extraversion(E)and neuroticism (N) significantly( 66.78 ± 10.29 vs 60.57 ± 9.09,t =2.54,P ＜ 0.01 ;7.11 ± 3.23 vs 5.33 ±2.89,t =2.81,P ＜ 0.05 ).③The results of logistic regression analysis showed that male mother' s high education level,sensation seeking,Eysenck' s P,N dimension were effective prediction factors of freshmen ' s health-risk behaviors.Conclusion Medical college freshmen who have higher levels of sensation seeking,Eysenck' s P,N dimension are more prone to health risk behaviors.

Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of high frequency ultrasound in the diagnosis of duodenal obstruction in neonates.Methods Ultrasonography,clinical data and etiological diagnoses of the operation in 113 neonates with duodenal obstruction were reviewed retrospectively.The digestive tract,including stomach,duodenum,jejunoileum and colon,were examined in all patients with 8-12 MHz linear transducer before operation.Results In the 113 neonates with duodenal obstruction,63 cases were diagnosed intestinal malrotation,31 cases duodenal stenosis,14 cases annular pancreas,and 5 cases duodenal atresia.One hundred and six cases were diagnosed as duodenal obstruction by ultrasound,of which intestinal malrotation in 61 cases,duodenal stenosis in 29 cases,duodenal atresia in 4 cases,and annular pancreas in 12 cases.The diagnostic rate was 93.81% (106/113 cases),96.83% (61/63 cases),93.55% (29/31 cases),80.00% (4/5cases) and 85.71% (12/14 cases),respectively.The location of obstruction diagnosed by ultrasound was coincident with the operation in 92 cases,with a diagnostic rate of 81.42%(92/113).Conclusions High frequency ultrasound plays an important role in diagnosing the causes and location of duodenal obstruction.It can be used as the first choice of examinal methods for the neonates with duodenal obstruction.

Objective To explore the application of PBL in dermatology and venereology teaching. Method According to random principle, 120 students were divided into experimental group and control group (60 students per group). The experimental group received PBL, and the control group received tradi-tional teaching. The teaching contents included systemic lupus erythematosus, pemphigus, psoriasis, syphilis. The course needed 16 periods totally . the traditional teaching group applied 8 classes extensive class teaching and 8 classes clinical trainee, and the PBL teaching group implemented case-based teaching 4 hours each time. Teaching satisfaction evaluation and test scores would be analyzed at the end of the semester. SPSS 17.0 was used for t test. Results The teaching satisfaction (contains professional values and ethics, communication skills, clinical skills, community health and health systems, information management, critical mind and research, etc.) of experimental group was higher than control group (P<0.05); The test scores of experimental group was higher than control group (P<0.05), especially in total score of theoretical examina-tion, comprehension and application. The difference mainly came from PBL teaching (P<0.05). Conclusion PBL is conductive not only to the comprehension and application of knowledge but to training the students' abilities of independent learning.

Objective To investigate the influence of Ulinastatin (UTI) on the hyper-permeability of vascular endothelial cells induced by tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α).Methods Inflammation model was induced by TNF-α in human umbilical vein endothelial cell line (EA.hy926).The experiment was designed into 4 groups:normal group,TNF-α group,UTI group and TNF-α with UTI (U + T) group.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) method and epithelial voltameter (EVOM) method were used to measure cell viability [absorbance (A) value] and transepithelial electrical resistance (TER) of EA.hy926 cells respectively.The expression of VE-cadherin was measured by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and immunocytochemistry.Results Compared with normal group,the TER of EA.hy926 cells induced by TNF-α was significantly decreased (67.200 ± 8.937 vs.33.600 ± 8.771,P =0.010).The permeability in EA.hy926 cells increased obviously.The hyper-permeability of EA.hy926 cells induced by TNF-α could be alleviated by UTI at the concentrations of 1-100 U/mL in a dose-dependent manner (40.133 ±7.484 vs.33.600 ±8.771,P=0.382;49.232 ± 3.162 vs.33.600 ± 8.771,P =0.044;63.700 ± 8.515 vs.33.600 ± 8.771,P =0.013).The expression of VE-cadherin mRNA reduced significantly in the TNF-α group (1.089 ±0.018 vs.0.835±0.021,P =0.000) compared with normal group.This effect of TNF-α could be attenuated by UTI.When EA.hy926 cells exposed to UTI at 10 U/mL and 100 U/mL,a significant increase of the expression of VE-cadherin mRNA was observed (0.976 ±0.014 vs.0.835 ±0.021,P =0.001;1.115 ±0.015 vs.0.835 ± 0.021,P =0.000).And the inhibition of UTI manifested a dose-dependent manner (1-100 U/mL).The results of the immunocytochemistry showed that the expression of VE-cadherin in TNF-o group was decreased significantly (0.061 ± 0.013 vs.0.093 ± 0.014,P =0.049) compared with normal group.And the low-expression of VE-cadherin could be alleviated by UTI (0.032 ± 0.004 vs.0.061 ± 0.013,P =0.016).Conclusion The high permeability of EA.hy926 cells induced by TNF-α could be inhibited by UTI at the concentrations of 1-100 U/mL in a dose-dependent manner.

Objective To investigate the difference of MT4 G-201A of Metallothionein (metallotionein, MT) family gene locus single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in type 2 diabetes and essential hypertension. Mothods We selected 324 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, 301 cases of patients with essential hypertension, 301 case of normal physical examination population. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis technology was used to detect MT4 G-201A polymorphism. Results (1) The genotype GG, GA and AA frequency of MT4 G-201A in 324 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes,301 cases of patients with essential hypertension, 301 case of normal physical examination population were 39.5%, 46.6%, 13.9%;42.2%, 48.5%, 9.3%;and 42.5%, 51.5%, 6.0%, respectively. The genotypes in all the distribution were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05) . (2) MT4 G-201A polymorphism:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution (G and A) had differences (P<0.05) ; there was no difference between essential hypertension group and normal group (P>0.05);there was a difference between type 2 diabetes group and the normal group (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distribution (P>0.05) . (3) MT4 G-201A polymorphism in Men:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution had differences (P<0.05) . In essential hypertension and type 2 diabetes group, there was no significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distribution (P>0.05) .MT4 G-201A polymorphism between women:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution had differences (P<0.05), there was a difference between type 2 diabetes and normal group genotypes (P<0.05) . Conclusions (1) There is correlation of MT gene G-210A polymorphism and type 2 diabetes, no association with essential hypertension. (2) There is a difference of MT gene G-210A polymorphism in type 2 diabetes in women, no difference in men.

Objective To investigate the psychological status of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS) patients overlapped with functional dyspepsia (FD) and its relationship with the changes of brain-gut peptides and cytokines levels.Methods A total of 190 D-IBS FD overlapped patients and 30 healthy controls were selected and all of them completed the questionnaire.The adult psychological testing system was applied for the Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) assessment.Plasma levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT),somatostatin (SS),vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP),endothelin (ET),interleukin (IL)-10 and IL-12 were measured in 59 randomly selected patients.Single factor analysis of variance and LSD test were performed for statistical analysis.Results In D-IBS-FD overlapped patients,the plasma 5 HT levels of the D-IBS patients and the FD patients were (1906.83±676.88) μg/L and (1745.53±653.23) μg/L respectively,both of them were significant higher than those of control group [(1289.44±918.45) μg/L,LSD test,both P＜0.05].However the levels of VIP and IL-10 were significant lower than those of control group (LSD test,both P＜0.01).In D-IBS patients,the plasma level of SS was significantly lower than that of control group (LSD test,P=0.025); the level of ET was significantly higher than that of control group and FD patients (LSD test,both P＜0.05).In D-IBS-FD overlapped patients,the scores of anxiety,depression and opponent were higher than those of control group (F=5.114,4.555 and 10.285,all P＜0.05).The plasma VIP and SS levels of patients with anxiety or depression were lower than those of control group (LSD test,both P＜0.05).The plasma VIP level was lower than that of patients without psychological disorders (LSD test,P=0.005).The plasma ET level of patients with disease course over five years was significantly higher than that of patients with disease course less than one year or between one and five years (LSD test,both P＜0.05),and the IL-10 level was significantly lower than that of patients with disease course less than one year (LSD test,P=0.004).Conclusions There were sub-healthlated with disease course,psychological disorder,the increased plasma 5-HT level and the decreased IL-10 level.There was close correlation between the lower gastrointestinal symptoms and the decreased levels of VIP,SS and the increased level of ET.
