Objective To investigate the correlation between developmental function and pathological behavior in children with autism. Methods A total of 154 children with autism were tested with Revised Chinese Version Psycho-Educational Profile (C-PEP) during 2011 to 2014. Results The scores of fine movement, hand-eye coordination, and oral language of developmental function were lower in the girls than in the boys (t>2.120, P<0.05). Among the children with autism aged 2-7 years, the developmental function was better in the older group than in the younger group (P<0.05);however, it was not better in the children aged 8-10 years and>10 years than in those aged 6-7 years. There was no difference in the scores of pathological behavior between the girls and the boys (P>0.05). Some pathological behaviors were milder in the older group than in the younger group (P<0.05). The scores ofP(pass) in developmental function were positively correlated with the scores ofA(absence) in pathological behavior (P<0.01), and negatively correlated with the scores ofS(severe) in pathological behavior (P<0.01). The scores ofF(fail) in developmental function were negatively correlated with the scores ofA(absence) in patho-logical behavior (P<0.01), and positively correlated with the scores ofS(severe) in pathological behavior (P<0.01). Conclusion Develop-mental function of children with autism is highly correlated with pathological behavior, and the rehabilitation and education of children with autism aged above 7 years should be concerned.

OBJECTIVE:To reduce the error rate of homing the withdrawn drugs in pharmacy intravenous admixture service (PIVAS). METHODS:Using risk priority(RPN),the potential failure modes for links of homing the withdrawn drugs in PIVAS were evaluated by using failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) method. Combining with the links of homing the withdrawn drugs, the reasons for errors were investigated, the feasible scheme to reduce error rates was proposed and the intervention effect was evaluated after 3 months. RESULTS:In the PIVAS links of homing the withdrawn drugs,8 high-risk failure modes had been found in total, such as poor double check system(RPN was 100),unfamiliarity of seemingly drugs(RPN was 36),a large num-ber of the withdrawn drugs(RPN was 20),etc. Thus, risk control measures had been formulated, including reinforcing the double check system, optimizing the management system of PIVAS and so on. After 3 months of intervention management,RPN of the first 3 items were reduced to 20,16,8;error rate of homing the withdrawn drugs was reduced from 1.98% to 0.62%(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The application of FMEA management method in PIVAS of our hospital has reduced the error rate of homing the withdrawn drugs.

Chinese Medical Journal 2014;127(3):518-521
BACKGROUNDLow molecular weight heparin (LMWH), as one of anticoagulant drugs, has been used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with prethrombotic state, but the specific use time is unclear. The aim of the study is to observe the effect of LMWH at two different periods of prethrombotic state in COPD in rats and to find the optimal time to use LMWH.
METHODSForty Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control, raised for 55 days without any treatment; COPD control without LMWH, cigarette inhalation plus intratracheal instillation of lipopolysaccharide and hypodermic injection of normal saline once a day for 10 days; COPD control given LMWH 150 U/kg subcutaneous injection, once a day for 10 days starting day 15 (LMWH-d15); COPD control given LMWH 150 U/kg subcutaneous injection, once a day for 10 days starting day 29 (LMWH-d29).
RESULTSComparing LMWH-d15 with LMWH-d29, plasma viscosity, whole blood viscosity, von Willebrand factor, serum fibrinogen, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and fibrin D-dimer were each significantly reduced; but thrombin plasminogen activator increased significantly whilst arterial PO2 and PCO2 improved significantly.
CONCLUSIONThe better time to use LMWH is the time when coagulation and fibrinolytic indices begin to change in COPD.

OBJECTIVES:
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a syndrome that excludes secondary causes such as intracranial space-occupying lesion, hydrocephalus, cerebrovascular disease, and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. If not be treated promptly and effectively, IIH can cause severe, permanent vision disability and intractable, disabling headache. This study aims to explore the clinical and image features for IIH, to help clinicians to understand this disease, increase the diagnose rate, and improve the outcomes of patients.
METHODS:
We retrospectively analyzed 15 cases of IIH that were admitted to Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, during January 2015 to September 2020. The diagnosis of IIH was based on the updated modified Dandy criteria. We analyzed clinical data of patients and did statistical analysis, including age, gender, height, weight, medical history, physical examination, auxiliary examination, treatment and outcome.
RESULTS:
There were 10 females and 5 males. Female patients were 22 to 42 years old with median age of 39.5. Male patients were 27 to 52 years old with the median age of 44.0. The BMI was 24.14-34.17 (28.71±2.97) kg/m
CONCLUSIONS
IIH primarily affects women of childbearing age who are overweight. The major hazard of IIH is the severe and permanent visual loss. Typical image signs have high specificity in IIH diagnosis. Prompt diagnosis and effective treatment are significantly important to improve the outcomes of patients.

PD-1 and PD-L1 antibodies have brought about extraordinary clinical benefits for cancer patients, and their indications are expanding incessantly. Currently, most PD-1/PD-L1 agents are administered intravenously, which may be uncomfortable for some cancer patients. Herein, we develop a novel oral-delivered small molecular, YPD-29B, which specifically targets human PD-L1. Our data suggested that YPD-29B could potently and selectively block the interaction between PD-L1 and PD-1, but did not inhibit any other immune checkpoints. Mechanistically, YPD-29B induced human PD-L1 dimerization and internalization, which subsequently activated T lymphocytes and therefore overcomes immunity tolerance in vitro. YDP-29B was modified as the YPD-30 prodrug to improve druggability. Using humanized mice with human PD-1 xenografts of human PD-L1 knock-in mouse MC38 cancer cells, we demonstrated that YPD-30 exhibited significant antitumor activity and was well tolerated in vivo. Taken together, our results indicate that YPD-30 serves as a promising therapeutic candidate for anti-human PD-L1 cancer immunotherapy.
