1.Relationship between Immunosuppressive Cells Treg,MDSCs and Clinicopathological Characteristics of Gastric Cancer
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(4):210-213
Background:The ability of tumor cells to evade destruction by immune system is known as tumor immune escape. Regulatory T cells( Treg cells)and myeloid-derived suppressor cells( MDSCs)are considered to be the most critical cell subsets participating in tumor immune escape. Aims:To determine the percentages of Treg cells and MDSCs in peripheral blood of patients with gastric cancer for investigating the effects of these two cell subsets on development and progression of gastric cancer. Methods:Peripheral blood specimens from 77 patients with gastric cancer and 20 healthy controls were collected for measurements of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Treg cells and MDSCs by flow cytometry. Correlations between Treg cells,MDSCs and clinicopathological characteristics of gastric cancer were analyzed. Results:Percentage of CD4+CD25+Foxp3 + Treg cells in peripheral blood CD4+ T cells and percentage of MDSCs in peripheral blood mononuclear cells were both significantly higher in gastric cancer patients than in healthy controls( Treg cells:4. 72% ± 1. 01% vs. 1. 57% ± 0. 99%,P<0. 01;MDSCs:21. 72% ± 10. 12% vs. 2. 90% ± 1. 80%,P<0. 01). Percentage of Treg cells in peripheral blood was correlated with the clinical stage, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer(P<0. 05), while percentage of MDSCs was correlated with the clinical stage of gastric cancer(P<0. 05). Furthermore,a significant positive correlation was observed between percentages of Treg cells and MDSCs in peripheral blood of gastric cancer patients ( rs =0. 681,P<0. 01). Conclusions:Gastric cancer patients are characterized by high expressions of immunosuppressive cells in peripheral blood, such as Treg cells and MDSCs,which might be related with the development and progression of gastric cancer via tumor immune escape.

China Pharmacy 2005;0(24):-
OBJECTIVE: To explore the antioxdant action of Xiangsha liujun pill in hyperlipidemia model rats. METHODS: Hyperlipidemia model was established by intragastric administrating emulsion in rats. The levels of blood lipids, serum SOD activity and MDA content in rats before and after intragastric administration of Xiangsha liujun pill were measured. RESULTS: Xiangsha liujun pill markedly inhibited the concentrations of serum total cholesterol (TC), trglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL), promoted the activity of SOD and decreased the content of MDA (P

Objective To discuss clinical effect of anti-inflammatory No.1 on prevention and treat-ment of chemotherapeutic phlebitis. Methods 200 patients undergoing peripheral venous chemotherapy were divided into the observation group and the control group with 100 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, the observation group was given local compression with gauze dipped with anti-inflammatory No.1 agents. The incidence of phlebitis was compared between the two groups and un-derwent χ2 test. Results The incidence of phlebitis in the observation group was lower than that of the control group. Conclusions Application of local compression with anti-inflammatory No.1 agents proves to be an effective method in prevention and treatment of chemotherapeutic phlebitis.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
Leukoregulin is an immunologic hormone whose anticancer action includethe inhibition of cellular proliferation and cytolysis of tumor cells eitherdirectly or indirectly by enhancing the tumor cell's susceptibility to dest-ruction mediated by natural killer cells. The optimal condition for the ind-uction of leukoregulin Were studied by using orthogonal experimental design. The optimal concentration is 1x10~7/ml for human spleen cells;3.1?g/mlfor phytohemagglutinin(PHA);12.5ng/ml for 12-0-tetradecanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate;15% for boyin serum.Leukoregulin activity prepared by 70 hincubation is maximum, the experiment also confirmed that the inducingleukoregulin effect of PHA-PⅢis significantly high.

Objective To analyse the state of the administration of clinical med icine in some children's hospital. Methods Prevalence study was use d. Results The administration of antibiotic and vitamin were domina nt among inpatients, and their utilization rates were 84.26%, 79.08% respec tively. 1 643 among 1950 of cases used antibiotic agents, the utilization rates of penicil ins, cephalosporins and antiviral medicine were 53.38%, 31.21% and 30.74% respec tiv ely. The administration of combined antibiotic added up to 71.88%. Conclusions The phenomenon of irrational administration of medicine wa s existing in the children's hospital. So it should be perfected on the rules an d regulations for the administration of medicine, and the management of medicine should be strengthened.

Objective To investigate the effect of self-management program on low vision patients and the role of intrinsic motivation. Methods A total of 160 low vision patients were assigned into 2 groups by random digits table method with 80 cases each. The control group was given routine doctor's advice and health education, and the observation group was given a self-management program guided by well trained medical personnel on the basis of the control group. The General Self-efficacy Scale (GSS) and Chinese-version Low Vision Quality Of Life questionnaire (CLVQOL) was conducted before and after intervention. The patients' intrinsic motivation also was evaluated by Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) after intervention. Results The total score and scores of interest/fun,inner selectivity, subjective ability and stress/strain dimensions of IMI were (62.25±3.74),(18.43 ±3.67),(16.13 ± 1.53),(16.05 ±7.34),(11.64 ±2.74)points、in observation group and(50.24±4.32),(13.53±2.78),(13.67±1.75),(13.52±2.42),(9.52±1.77) points in control group, and there were significant differences (t=5.813-18.800,P< 0.05).The scores of GSS and CLVQOL in observation group after intervention were (27.49±3.41),(64.30±7.04) points, which were higher than those in control group:(16.54±2.25),(34.86±3.99) points, and there were significant differences (t=23.973,32.540,P < 0.05).After intervention, the total score and interest/fun,inner selectivity, subjective ability and stress/strain dimensions of IMI in observation group were positively associated with the score of GSS (r=0.663-0.739,P < 0.05).The total score of IMI was positively associated with the total score of CLVQOL (r=0.765,P < 0.05).In addition,a positive association was observed between the total score and each dimension of CLVQOL and inner selectivity, subjective ability and stress/strain dimensions of the IMI (r=0.661-0.765,P < 0.05).Conclusions A self-management program can improve low vision patients'self-efficacy and quality of life, intrinsic motivation is the important factor influencing the effect of selfmanagement program.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
Objective: To observe the relationship between homocysteine(Hcy)and spatial cognitive ability and to evaluate whether vitamin B12 supplementation could protect spatial cognitive ability in rats. Methods: The rats were randomized into three groups. The experimental group was given methionine subcutaneously. The intervention group was given methionine and vitamin B12 subcutaneously. The control group received isometric normal saline. After being raised for 8 weeks, all rats were examined for plasma Hcy and serum vitamin B12 and scores of Y-maze test. The brain tissues of hippocampus were checked immunohistochemically for acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Results: The experimental group developed hyperhomocysteinemia and descreased spatial cognitive ability significantly (P0.05). Conclusion: Homocysteine can impair the spatial cognitive ability in rats and vitamin B12 is effective in lowering Hcy level and protect the spatial cognitive ability of rats.
