Journal of Practical Stomatology 1996;0(02):-
Objective: To analyze the correlated risk factors of endodontic interappointment emergencies(EIAE) and the intervention effect of microwave endodontic sterilization. Methods: 163 patients with chronic periodontitis, pulpitis or dental pulp necrosis (without acute inflammation) were involved in the study. All the patients were distributed into microwave group (n=80) and control group (n=83) randomly. Unitarily finished endodontic therapy was conduced in microwave group after the microwave endodontic sterilization. Same endodontic therapy was applied in control group but without microwave endodontic sterilization. Risk factors of EIAE were investigated by releasing questionnaire. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: Incidences of EIAE were related to age, gender, the position of the tooth, with or without fistula, filling condition and with or without microwave endodontic sterilization. The risk factors of EIAE of ultra-filling, posterior inferior tooth, the age older than 45 years and the female was 3.32,3.49, 5.87 and 3.71 respectively (P

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(5):15-17,20
Objective To investigate the syndromes, syndrome elements and target sites of diabetic cerebral infarction. Method Firstly, literatures were searched from January 2003 to October 2013 in China Academic Journals Database (CNKI) retrieval system, then a database of 22 eligible articles was established. Syndromes of diabetic cerebral infarction were extracted from the database, then syndromes, syndrome elements and target sites were analyzed. Results Totally 2550 cases of diabetic cerebral infarction were concerned with 15 syndromes, including 659 cases of stagnation of phlegm and blood (25.84%), 445 cases of stagnation of phlegm-heat (17.45%), 366 cases of wind-phlegm syndrome (14.35%) and 341 cases of qi deficiency and blood stasis (13.37%). There were 10 syndrome elements in the 2550 cases, of which 1588 cases with phlegm (62.27%), 1026 cases with blood stasis (40.24%), 649 cases with qi deficiency (25.45%) and 539 cases with yin deficiency (21.14%). And seven target sites were encompassed, the highlights of which included 2502 cases of liver (98.12%), 2194 cases of spleen (86.04%), 2096 cases of kidney (82.20%) and 1026 cases of brain (40.24%). Conclusion The important syndrome elements of diabetic cerebral infarction were phlegm, blood stasis, qi deficiency and yin deficiency. The four major syndromes comprising stagnation of phlegm and blood, stagnation of phlegm-heat, wind-phlegm syndrome and qi deficiency and blood stasis were concluded, mainly affected the liver, spleen, kidney and brain. And there were two fundamental pathogenesis in diabetic cerebral infarction:qi and yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis.

In recent years, the incidence of diabetes has been increasing year by year. Along with it, the problems of high medical cost and health resource shortage also make the diabetes the key chronic disease of health service management in our country. There are significant features and advantages in treatment of diabetes with traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore, the construction mode of two-way referral care for diabetes patients between TCM hospitals and community medical institutions is just unfolding. Based on the status quo of TCM treatment for diabetes, this article reviewed the present basic situation of the two-way referral care for diabetes patients in TCM hospitals and community medical institutions, discussed the significance of this mode for diabetes patients in TCM hospital, emphasized the feasibility and validity of implementing this mode, and provided beneficial exploration and consideration for further development of this mode for diabetes patients between TCM hospitals and community medical institutions.

Objective To explore the role of Tanggankang Capsule in decreasing blood sugar, regulating blood lipid and protecting liver for the patient of type 2 diabetes with hepatic injury. Methods 60 cases of type 2 diabetes with hepatic injury, and with TCM syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi and deficiency of spleen, dampness-heat and blood stasis were enrolled in the study. Patients were randomly divided into treatment group (Tanggankang Capsule group, n=30) and control group (Metfofmin and Glucurolactone group, n=30), and were administrated for 8 weeks. Results The total effective rate for the improvement of TCM syndromes was 89.9% in the treatment group and 62.4% in the control group, with significant difference between the two groups (P

Objective Approaching characteristic of syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus affiliated metablic syndrome, usage of herbs based on the theories of relationship between formula (herbs) and syndrome. Methods Gathering 265 cases coming from multicentric clinic cases, feature of syndrome and classify would be approached by means of free-scale networks. Result Herbs of supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin is its foundation, effectiveness of herbs showed tendency in eliminating heat nourishing yin, then supplementing Qi and nourishing yin, eliminating heat, and invigorate vital energy promoting blood flow, warming yang, dissipating hygrosis for diuresis. Honey-fried radix astragal, pseudostellariae are important herbs, rehmannia dried rhizome, fructus schizandrae, chuanxiong, angelicae sinensis paeoniae rubra ophiopogonis tuber, anemarrhenae are correlation with them. Conclusion Deficiency of vital energy, Yin asthenia are fundamental syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus affiliated metablic syndrome. Early, Yin asthenia and excessive heat are cardinal. Intermediate stage, deficiency of vital energy Yin asthenia are fundamental. Meanwhile excessive heat, phlegmatic hygrosis and stagnated blood existed together. Advanced stage, deficiency of vital energy and stagnation of blood are main syndrome. Yang asthenia, phlegmatic hygrosis, retention of fluid in the body are affiliated syndrome frequently. Drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis penetrated through the courses all the while.
