1.Association between echocardiography utilization and prognosis in patients with cardiac arrest
World Journal of Emergency Medicine 2025;16(1):63-66
Despite efforts to develop treatment technology for cardiac arrest (CA), CA incidence and mortality rates are still high.[1,2] A recent study of CA patients in emergency departments revealed that the incidence of CA is increasing annually, and the in-hospital survival rate of CA patients is only approximately 28.7%.[3] Echocardiography has been widely used as an important monitoring tool in critical care and helps to identify the cause of shock, monitor hemodynamics, and guide fluid therapy utilization.[4] One study reported that approximately one-third of patients underwent formal echocardiography during hospitalization in the intensive care unit (ICU).[5]
2.Detection of captopril based on its enhanced resonance light scattering signals of fluorosurfactant-capped gold nanoparticles
Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2010;22(2):71-76,82
In this study, based on its enhancement effect on resonance light scattering (RLS) of fluorosurfactant (FSN)-capped gold nanoparticles (GNPs), we reported a simple approach for the rapid sensing of captopril. Under optimum conditions, the lowest detectable concentration of captopril through this approach (S/N=3) was 0.01μg/mL. The calibration curve was linear over the range of 0.08-4.0μg/mL for the detection of captopril. The recoveries of captopril were found to fall in the range between 99% and 100%. We have validated the applicability of our method through the analyses of captopril in pharmaceutical formulations. Good agreements were obtained for the determination of captopril between the present approach and official method.

4.Perinatal outcomes of isolated single umbilical artery in full-term birth
Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 2015;(4):275-278
Objective To investigate the perinatal outcomes of isolated single umbilical artery (ISUA) in full-term birth. Methods We performed a retrospective study of 82 252 pregnant women (aged<35 years;singleton; full-term live birth; no known chromosomal/structural anomalies) who delivered between January 1, 2011 and January 1, 2012 in 39 hospitals in 14 cities in China. There were 273 cases with ISUA as study group and 1 092 cases with a three-vessel cord selected in a 1∶4 ratio as control group. Perinatal outcomes including delivery modes (vaginal delivery or emergency cesarean section for fetal reasons), birth weight and height, placental weight, umbilical cord length, Apgar scores at 1 min, and rate of neonatal asphyxia were analyzed retrospectively. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test, two independent samples t-test or rank sum test. Results The incidence of ISUA was 0.3%(273/82 252). There was no difference between the two groups with regard to maternal age, parity, gravidity, smoking status, gestational age at birth, or rate of complications during pregnancy (gestational diabetes mellitus or pregnancy-induced hypertension) (all P>0.05). The birth weight in ISUA group and control group was (3 259±463) and (3 344±411) g (t=3.689), birth hight was (48.6±2.7) and (49.7±1.9) cm (t=8.368), placental weight was (508±72) and (543±153) g (t=3.114), umbilical cord length was (52.6±8.1) and (53.7±7.5) cm (t=1.983), and Apgar scores at 1 min were 9.0 (8.0-10.0) and 10.0 (9.0-10.0) (Z=11.831), respectively; the values in the ISUA group were lower than those in control group (all P < 0.05). No significant differences were observed in the rate of vaginal delivery and emergeny cesarean section for fetal reasons between the ISUA group and control group [52.8%(144/273) and 49.9%(545/1 092),χ2=0.704;19.4%(25/273) and 15.7% (86/1 092), χ2=1.162; both P>0.05]. Conclusions ISUA does not increase emergency cesarean delivery rates for the fetal reasons, but the fetal growth and development may fall behind those with a three-vessel umbilical cord. Monitoring during pregnancy and delivery should be intensified for fetuses with ISUA.
5.Observation of clinical effect of LEEP combined with vaginal cytology in the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2017;24(10):1474-1477
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of the combination of the vaginal and high frequency electric wave loop(LEEP) in the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions. Methods The clinical data of 76 cases with cervical precancerous lesions confirmed by postoperative pathological examination were collected,Pathologic biopsy was conducted under colposcope. For patients with operative indication, LEEP operation was carried out under colposcope and analyzed vaginal microscopic pathological biopsy diagnosis accurate rate. The operation time, bleeding volume and treatment were observed. Results Satisfactory colposcopy and biopsy results difference had statistical significance;colposcopy with biopsy diagnosis accurate rate was 90.79%.The average operation time was (6.42±1.21)min.The mean operative bleeding was (10.45±2.31)mL.Postoperative 3 months, TCT negative rate was 95.83%(92/96).After 6 months of TCT negative rate was 100.00%(76/76).Conclusion LEEP combined with vaginal cytology in the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions has less invasion, less bleeding, shorter hospitalization time, and can effectively remove the lesion site,it is worthy of recommending.
6.Inhibitory effect of recombinant mutant human tumor necrosis factor combined with cisplatin on transplanted Lewis lung carcinoma in mice
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1996;0(04):-
Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effect of recombinant mutant human tumor necrosis factor(rmhTNF-?)combined with cisplatin(DDP)against transplanted Lewis lung carcinoma(LLC)in mice, and to explore the related mechanism. Methods:LLC cells were subcutaneously inoculated into C57BL/6 mice at the right axilla and the mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:sodium chloride(control group),DDP group,rmhTNF-? group,rmhTNF-? plus DDP group. On the 7th day after inoculation the diameter of the tumor reached 0.6 cm;the corresponding agents were intratumorally injected for 3 d.All mice were sacrificed 1 d later and the tumors were obtained, weighed, and the tumor inhibitory rate was calculated.Flow cytometric analysis was used to examine cells apoptosis and cell cycle.Expression of survivin mRNA was examined by RT-PCR.Results:(1)The tumor inhibitory rates of the DDP plus rmhTNF-? group(36.61%)was significantly higher than those of the DDP group(17.12%)and rmhTNF-? group(15.83%,P

China Pharmacy 2015;(26):3684-3686,3687
OBJECTIVE:To compare mental state and drug safety of puerperant underwent propofol and etomidate painless abortion after regain of consciousness. METHODS:102 puerperant underwent painless abortion were selected and randomly divided into control group and trial groups with 51 cases in each group. The control group received Propofol injection 2 mg/kg intravenous-ly,and the trial group received Etomidate fat emulsion injection 0.2 mg/kg intravenously. The changes of patient’s mental state were evaluated with Positive and Negative Emotions Scale (PANAS) before anesthesia and after regain of consciousness. The changes of HR,BP,MAP and SpO2 were observed and compared between 2 groups before anesthesia and 1,2,3 and 5 min after anesthesia. The anesthetic effect and ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Compared to before anesthesia, positive mood scores of the trial group were increased slightly after regain of consciousness, while that of the control group were increased significantly;there was statistical significance before anesthesia and after regain of consciousness (t=9.023,P<0.05);there was statistical significance between 2 groups(t=8.367,P<0.05). Negative mood scores of 2 groups were decreased significantly af-ter regain of consciousness;there was statistical significance before anesthesia and after regain of consciousness(t=8.672,9.895, P<0.05). HR,BP MAP and SpO2 of 2 groups had no statistical significance within 5 min after anesthesia(P>0.05). The total effective rate of anesthesia in control group was 80.4%,while that of trial group was 78.4%;there was no statistical signifi-cance between 2 groups (χ2=1.273,P>0.05). The incidence of nausea, vomiting, dizziness and other ADR were similar in 2 groups, but the incidence of fantasy(39.2%)in control group was significantly higher in trial group(11.8%);there was statistical significance between 2 groups(χ2=10.120,P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Propofol and etomidate have good stability on the respira-tory and circulatory system, anesthetic effects are correspond to the incidence of ADR. Etomidate has a better safety. But the psy-chological status of patients in the propofol group is preceding than etomidate group.
9.Comparison of Regulation on GM Crops Cultivation Management in USA and China
China Biotechnology 2017;37(8):119-127
The proposal to promote the commercialization of new insect-resistant GM cotton,GM corn and other major products in 13th Five Year Plan on National Science and Technology Innovation ,has put forward a test to the government's ability to manage GM crops cultivation.Only a few species of GM crops, not including food crops, have been commercialized in China,we lack experience in GM crops cultivation management.Taking USA,where the farmers cultivate huge areas of GM crops,as a comparison object, the examination and approval procedures before cultivation,GM crop growers' obligation of the management, the methods to reduce mingling of GM crops and non-GM crops are compared. And concludes that the differences in legal status of GM crops, the intellectual property regime and labeling regulation, the ability of relative stakeholders to implement segregation measures and bear loss lead to different regulation on GM crops cultivation management in USA and China. The government combine the domestic current situation of the agricultural environment in our country, and focus on substantial risk in the safety management of GM crops in cultivation management is advised. The competent department of agriculture, researchers and seed traders should work together to help guide growers to avoid the economic disputes due to mingling and reduce the impact on the ecological environment.
10.Inspirations from the US experiences in handling medical disputes and legislature
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(4):243-246
Commercialization of the doctors sector and lawyers sector, and that of medical services, sharp rise of medical disputes and its impact on healthcare services have grown into major challenges for the healthcare system in the United States where litigation is the legal way out of medical disputes at large.Anglo-American law system depends heavily on precedence as the criteria and the majority of such disputes trials are held in state courts, there is also a complete system of laws and decrees on medical disputes on the federation level. In an effort to handle medical disputes that are rising sharply in a piling-up amount, American lawyers, social organizations of arbitration and medicine, and many state courts are seeking alternative dispute resolution as a better way out for medical dispute mediation and resolution.Given the gaps between China and USA in social systems, legal systems, ,economic development, cultural background, healthcare systems and heahhcare security systems, these experiences will prove their value of reference for medical disputes resolution in China.
