Objective To investigate the effects of nicergoline on the treatment of posterior circulation ischemia vertigo (PCIV).Methods A total of 87 patients with PCIV were randomly treated either with nicergoline (45 cases) or betahistine (42 eases).Dizziness assessment rating scale (DARS) and dizziness handicap inventory (DHI) were used to evaluate the changes of manifestations before treatment,after 7 days and 8 weeks treatment with nicergoline,meanwhile transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) and brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) were observed to assess the effects.Results After 7 days of treatment,the scores of DARS and DHI were decreased significantly in nicergoline group (DARS:15.6±2.1 ; DHI:38.3± 11.4) and control group (DARS:14.3±4.4; DHI:39.5±14.7) compared with the scores before treatment (DARS:24.9±7.3,22.5 ±9.7; DHI:55.8±19.7,57.5±19.3) (all P＜ 0.05),and the treatment efficiency was 71.1％ (32/45),61.9％ (26/42).After 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of DARS and DHI were also decreased significantly in nicergoline group (DARS:8.9 ±3.9; DHI:26.3± 12.8) and control group (DARS:9.9±4.7; DHI:35.8±13.1) compared with the scores before treatment (all P＜ 0.05),and the treatment efficiency was 93.3％ (42/45),78.6％ (33/42).There was significantly differences in the scores of DHI and treatment efficiency between the two groups at 8 weeks (t =2.169,P＜ 0.05,and x2=3.98,P＜ 0.05),but no differences at 7 days (both P＞ 0.05).In consistent with the remission of the clinical symptoms,nicergoline group significantly recovered from both low blood diffusion in the verbal-basal artery system and extended peak latency(PL) and inter peak latency(IPL) in the auditory pathway examined by TCD and BAEP individually at 8 weeks,especially in the upper part of the brainstem (P＜0.05).Conclusions Nicergoline is very effective in the treatment of PCIV and could alleviate the subclinical ischemia to get long time benefits.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)shows high malignancy and metastasis. Hepatitis B virus X protein (HBx), a virus protein coded by hepatitis B virus, plays an important role in HCC metastasis. Recently, it was reported that HBx activates metastatic signal-pathways through MMPs, VEGF, uPA etc.,and promotes metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Central nervous system(CNS) disease induces functional deficits in persons.Simultaneously,there appears axonal destruction and the formation of scar tissue,as well as cavity and physical gaps in the lesions.Olfactory ensheathing cells(OECs),acting as prime candidates for autologous transplantation,secrete neurotrophic factors for neuroprotection,angiogenesis and outgrowth of both intact and lesioned axons to different degrees,change the response status of endogenous glia after lesion,as well as remyelinate axons after a range of demyelinating insults.OECs transplantation has become an ongoing clinical therapeutic approach for human CNS disease in recent years.Thus,OECs transplantation can be used for cell-mediated repair following a variety of CNS lesions.Here,the paper reviews the current status of foundational research of OECs transplantation in treating CNS disease underlying the wide variation of results obtained in the field.

Objective To investigate the effects of kui-yang-fang on trefoil factor 1 ( TFF1 ) , epidermal growth fac-tor ( EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor( EGFR) in acetic acid induced gastric ulcers of rats. Methods50 rats were randomly divided into five groups. The rats of the gastric ulcer model were used by the icy acetic acid. After drug treatment for 14 days,the rats gastric mucosa was collected to compare to the ulcer index,then check the content of TFF1,EGF and EGFR with RT-PCR,and observe TFF1,EGFR with immunohistochemical staining. Re-sults Compared to the control,the levels of TFF1 and EGF in model group decreased, and the difference was not statistically significant. The EGFR level of model group was higher than that of normal group with no statistically significant difference. But the increase of kui-yang-fang groups and ranitidine group was more obvious,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Compared to the model group,kui-yang-fang and ranitidine groups signifi-cantly elevated the level of TFF1,EGF and EFR in gastric ulcer,the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01 ) . Immunohistochemical staining showed that TFF1 and EGFR expression in kui-yang-fang and ranitidine groups were significantly increased,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), but the increase of kui-yang-fang of high-dose group was more obvious. Conclusion One of the possible mechanism is kui-yang-fang pro-motes expression of TFF1,EGF and EGFR to protect and repair gastric tissue.

ObjectiveThe possibility of the hyperplasi a of prostatic outer gland was studied with transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided biopsies. MethodsTwenty-seven prostatic outer glands in patients suspicious for prostatic cancer (PCA) were biopsied by TRUS guided, the total sites were 47. The same site was biopsied in sagittal and longitudinal section respectively. The hypoechoic lesion was biopsied 2 times if it was discovered in the outer gland. The histological results were diagnosed in double blind. Results Twenty prostatic inner glands looked symmetrical hyperplasia; 9 outer glands became thin because of the compression, there was no compressive sign in 18 patients; there was a hypoechoic lesion in outer gland of 3 patients. Benign prostatic hyperplasia was diagnosed in the specimens of 47 sites. ConclusionsThe hyperplasia of prostatic outer gland can occur like inner gland because it is glandular tissue.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of repeat transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided biopsy in prostatic cancer (PCA). Methods Repeat TRUS guided biopsy was conducted on 54 patients of the previous benign TRUS guided biopsy at high risk of PCA. Postatic specific antigen ranged in 0.5- 90.0 ?g/L(mean 16.3 ?g/L). Twenty-nine patients were abnormal in digital rectal examination, 21 patients were abnormal in TRUS. Results Forty-seven patients had 2 consecutive times of the biopsy, 6 patients had 3 consecutive times, 1 patient had 4 consecutive times in 54 patients of repeat TRUS guided biopsy. The pathological finding was confirmed in 14 PCA ( 25.9%), and 31 benign prostatic hyperplasia, 5 prostatic intra-epithelial neoplasmia, 4 chronic prostatitis. Conclusions The detection of PCA will be increased by repeat TRUS guided biopsy at high risk of PCA after the previous benign TRUS guided biopsy.

Objective To study the characteristic of the hyperplasia hypoechoic nodules in outer gland of prostate with transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided biopsies. Methods 42 patients were suspected of prostatic cancer (PCa) for the existence of hypoechoic nodules in their outer glands of prostate. Each nodule was TRUS guided biopsied in sagittal and longitudinal section, respectively. The histological examinations were performed in double blind. Results Among the 42 patients, there were 22 cases of benign prostate hyperplasia (52.4%) and 20 cases of prostate cancer (47.6%). Conclusions The sonographic findings of the hypoechoic nodules in outer glands included not only PCa, but also benign hyperplasia nodules. Therefore, the definitive diagnosis must dependent on pathologic examinations.

Objective To investigate the distribution of four common chronic diseases including essential hypertension, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke, and their related risk factors in fertile and menopausal women. Methods Census data were collected by questionnaire, physical examination and laboratory examination in females older than 40 yrs in rural areas of Fangshan District, Beijing. Student's t test, chi-square test and logistic regression model were used. OBJECTIVE:To strengthen the supervision of drug stocktaking,and to improve drug management. METHODS:The data of drug stocktaking were extracted from our hospital from 2011 to 2014,and was analyzed in respects of accounts coinci-dence rate,drug profit and loss account rate,the entry and exit account between departments and original record,etc. A series of supervision strategies were established,and the data of drug stocktaking was analyzed during Jan.-Jun. in 2015 statistically to evalu-ated supervision effects. RESULTS:The supervision of drug stocktaking was strengthened through limiting the right of drug profit and loss on stocktaking,strengthening original stocktaking record management,establishing Key Drug List,setting up drug stock-taking supervision institutions,etc. During Jan.-Jun. in 2015,there was obvious improvement in the drug supervision skills,in terms of account coincidence rate,profit and loss account,material safety,cash flow rate,staff responsibility and stocktaking dura-tion,etc. More specially,the accounts coincidence rate had rose from about 82.8% to more than 95%;both the key drug accounts coincidence rate and the entry and exit account between departments coincidence rate had reached to 100%;the profit and loss ac-count rate had reduced from about 7.6% to less than 0.3%;the stocktaking time had reduced from 10 h to 3 h. CONCLUSIONS:Strengthening drug stocktaking supervision can not only improve the stocktaking efficiency and quality markedly,but also contrib-utes to the development of other pharmacy work in hospital.

Objective this research mainly analysis in the treatment of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease by comparison of clinical therapeutic effect of endovascular treatment and simple drug treatment. Methods 60 cases of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease admitted in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2017, and were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 30 cases in each group. The control group were treated by endovascular treatment, the observation group were treated with simple drug treatment, the two groups of patients treated for 6 months, 12 months to improve blood flow, the incidence of cerebrovascular events, mortality, prognosis Quality of life scores as a comparison basis.Results The patients in the observation group were treated for 6 months, 12 months after the blood flow improved superior to the patients in the control group (P<0.05); the patients in the observation group were treated for 6 months, 12 months of cerebrovascular disease incidence rate lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); the observation group after 6 months treatment and mortality of patients in the control group had no significant difference; the patients in the observation group after 12 months of treatment the mortality rate lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The patients in the observation group survival quality scores were excellent in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The study proves that, in the treatment of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease in the treatment can effectively improve the treatment effect of endovascular intervention, improve the blood flow status of patients, reduce the events in patients with cerebrovascular disease incidence and mortality.
