Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(12):1185-1188
OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical efficacy and effect mechanism on chronic urticaria treated with moving cupping therapy combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints.
METHODSOne hundred and four patients of chronic urticaria were randomized into a comprehensive therapy group and a medication group, 52 cases in each one. In the comprehensive therapy group, the moving cupping therapy along the governor vessel and bladder meridian of foot-taiyang was applied combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints. The self-venous blood was injected at bilateral Quchi (LI 11) and Zusanli (ST 36), 1 mL at each acupoint, once every 3 days. In the medication group, cetirizine tablets, 10 mg were prescribed for oral administration, once every day, and the compound dexamethasone acetate cream was used externally, once to twice a day. The clinical efficacy: was observed in 30 days of treatment in the two groups. The changes of serum interleukin 4 (IL-4) and immunoglobulin E (Ig E) before and after treatment were observed. The recurrence rate was compared between the two groups in 3 months after treatment.
RESULTSThe cured and markedly effective rate was 90.4% (47/52) in the comprehensive therapy group, which was higher obviously than 78.8% (41/52, P < 0.05) in the medication group. The levels of serum IL-4 and IgE were reduced in the patients of the two groups, indicating the significant difference in comparison before and after treatment (all P < 0.01) and the reducing degree in the comprehensive therapy group was much more significant than that in the medicine group (both P < 0.01). The recurrence rate was 19. 1% (9/47) in the comprehensive therapy group in the 3-month follow-up after treatment, and apparently lower than 51.2% (21/41, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe moving cupping therapy combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints achieves the better efficacy on chronic urticaria compared with the routine western medicine treatment and the recurrence rate is low. The effect mechanism is possibly related to the down-regulation of serum IL-4 and IgE in the patients.

Objective To study the countermeasures for preventing medical disputes-induced group events by ana-lyzing the related papers. Methods Distributions of publication years, institutions of authors, and subjects in pa-pers on medical disputes-induced group events in 2006-2013 covered in Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform and CNKI were analyzed by bibliometrics. Results A total of 676 papers on medical disputes-induced group events were published in 2006-2013 .Their authors were mainly from medical educational institutions or medical and health institutions. The number of papers on medical tangles, relation between physicians and patients, legal con-struction, reasons for medical disputes was significantly larger than that of those on the third partymechanism and medical liability insurance .Conclusion Certain advances have been achieved in study on medical disputes-induced group events. However, there is a room for their improvement, further studies are thus needed.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the effects of the neonatal handling and enriched environmental stimulation on brain damage in neonatal rats with hypoglycemia. Methods Thirty-six neonatal rats were randomly divided into the normal group, hypoglycemia intervention group and the hypoglycemia non-intervention group. Those rats in hypoglycemia intervention and hypoglycemia non-intervention groups were weaned for 12 h,then the blood sugar of both groups were monitored. After neonatal rat models with hyperglycemia were prepared, the rats in hypoglycemia intervention group received the neonatal handling for 14 d and then were kept in an enriched stimulation environment for another 14 d.Rats in normal group and hypoglycemia non-intervention group were fed in the routine way.Neonatal handling was done when the rats were born for 24 h.The rat was rubbed with the brush from head to tail softly.Rats in the hypoglycemia non-intervention group was not handled. The enriched environment stimulation was used after 15 d when the rats were born.Rats in the hypoglycemia intervention group was put into the enriched environment for 1 h per day until 28 d when the rats were born, and rats in the hypoglycemia non-intervention group was put into the normal environment. Then the body weight was scaled at 0 d,7 d,14 d,21 d and 28 d when the rats were born.Space learning and memory were tested with Morris earter at their third month's age. After that, changes of pathology was observed in their occipital cortex. Results The weight increase, the ability of space learning, memory and the number of survival pyramid neurons of occipital cortex in normal group were better than those in hypoglycemia intervention and hypoglycemia non-intervention group(Pa

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2015;31(6):470-473
Individual stature estimation is one of the most important contents of forensic anthropology. Currently, it has been used that the regression equations established by the data collected by direct measurement or radiological techniques in a certain group of limbs, irregular bones, and anatomic landmarks. Due to the impact of population mobility, human physical improvement, racial and geographic differences, estimation of individual stature should be a regular study. This paper reviews the different methods of stature estimation, briefly describes the advantages and disadvantages of each method, and prospects a new research direction.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2008;7(5):349-350
Objective To investigate the effects of perioperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) sustained release agent on the local recurrence and survival rates of patients with advanced gastric cancer. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with advanced gastric cancer who had been admitted to our hospital from January 2002 to December 2004 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into treatment group and control group. Only patients in the treatment group were implanted with 5-FU sustained release agent (800 mg) in abdominal cavity after D2 gastrectomy. All patients accepted chemotherapy according to the FOLFOX regimen. Results The 3-year survival rate and 3-year disease free survival rate were 45% and 28% for treatment group, which were significantly higher than 32% and 16% for control group. Conclusions Intraperi-toneal implantation of 5-FU sustained release agent during operation can decrease local recurrence rate and improve the 3-year survival rate of patients with advanced gastric cancer after radical gastrectomy.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2015;31(2):143-147
OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of midazolam on human ether-a-go-go (hERG) K+ channels exogenously expressed in human embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293) and the underlying molecular mechanisms.
METHODSWhole-cell patch clamp technique was used to record WT, Y652A and F656C hERG K+ current expressed in HEK-293 cells.
RESULTSMidazolam inhibited hERG K+ current in a concentration-dependent manner, the half-maximum block concentrations (IC50) values were (1.31 ± 0.32) µmol/L. The half-activation voltage (V1/2) were (2.32 ± 0.38) mV for the control and (-1.96 ± 0.83) mV for 1.0 µmol/L midazolam. The half-inactivation voltage (V1/2) was slightly shifted towards negative voltages from (-49.25 ± 0.69) mV in control to (-57.53 ± 0.53) mV after 1.0 µmol/L midazolam (P < 0.05). Mutations in drug-binding sites (Y652A or F656C) of the hERG channel significantly attenuated the hERG current blockade by midazolam.
CONCLUSIONMidazolam can block hERG K+ channel and cause the speed of inactivation faster. Mutations in the drug-binding sites (Y652 or F656) of the hERG channel were found to attenuate hERG current blockage by midazolam.
