Objective To analyze the telephone follow-up response rate and related factors in lung cancer patients thus to explore the countermeasures to increase the telephone response rate.Methods One thousand six hundred and eight post-surgery lung cancer patients were followed up by telephone interview,calculate response rates and analyze the impact factors on response rates of surgical patients. Results The lung cancer patients' overall response rate of one thousand six hundred and eight cases was 83.1%.Reservation phone type, phone number,family history of cancer are major factors affecting lung cancer patients' telephone followed up response rate(P<0.05). Conclusions Telephone follow-up of patients with lung cancer response rates is at a low level.To improve tumor response rates of follow-up and follow-up quality is a long and arduous task,requiring medical personnel continue to learn professional knowledge,summing up a reasonable follow-up methods,but also needing patients and their families to understand and cooperate.

Objective To investigate the coping mode and quality of life of patients with malignant glioma during chemotherapy.Methods European organization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life,Core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30) and medical coping modes questionnaire(MC-MQ)were used for the survey among 45 patients with malignant glioma during chemotherapy.Results The scores on patients' emotion function and role function were(7.80±2.52)and(16.26±5.35),both at a low level.The avoidance factor in copy mode was scored(16.26±5.35),significantly lower than the norm(14.44±2.97)(P<0.05). Conclusion Nurses should make pertinent measures for intervention,encouraging patients to take right cope mode and keeping positive attitude so as to improve their quality of life.

Objective To investigate the survival prognostic influencing factors of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after radical resection. Methods Clinical data of 1 102 patients with HCC undergoing radical resection in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from January 2006 to June 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. There were 872 males and 230 females with a mean age of (55±15) years old. The informed consents of all patients were obtained and local ethical committee approval had been received. All the patients were followed up after operation. The cumulative survival rate was estimated using Kaplan-Meier method according to the follow-up results. Clinical indexes such as age, gender, history of viral hepatitis B, family history of HCC, serum alpha fetoprotein (AFP), serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP), Child-Pugh liver function grading, tumor diameter, portal vein tumor thrombus, tumor differentiation, vessel invasion, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, tumor node metastasis (TNM) staging were enrolled as prognostic impact factors and were analyzed using Log-rank test and Cox proportional hazards model. Results The survival time was 4-114 months with a median of 70 months for the patients with HCC after radical resection. The 1-, 3-, 5-year cumulative survival rates were 88.9%, 73.2%, 52.3%. Tumor diameter>4 cm, positive serum AFP, poor tumor differentiation were the independent risk factors for the prognosis of patients with HCC after radical resection (RR=1.951, 3.498, 3.781;P<0.05). Conclusion Tumor diameter>4 cm, positive serum AFP, poor tumor differentiation are the independent risk factors inlfuencing the prognosis of patients with HCC after radical resection.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors of telephone follow-up response rate of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after hepatectomy. Methods Clinical data of 908 patients with HCC undergoing hepatectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2005 to December 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. The informed consents of all patients were obtained and the ethical committee approval was received. There were 718 males and 190 females with a mean age of (57±16) years. The patients were followed up by telephone interview 2 weeks after operation and the telephone responses were observed. The relations between telephone follow-up response and the gender, age, residence, education, profession, tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) classiifcation, tumor family history, reserved telephone type, quantity of the reserved phone number were analyzed using Chi-square test. Multiple-factor analysis was conducted using Logistic regression. Results The telephone follow-up response rate was 82.5%(749/908) for HCC patients after hepatectomy. The independent inlfuencing factors for telephone follow-up response were the reserved ifxed-line phone number, reserved ifxed-line and mobile phone number, quantity of the reserved phone number=2, quantity of the reserved phone number≥3, tumor family history (OR=1.518, 2.602, 1.626, 3.503, 2.689;P<0.05). Conclusion The independent inlfuencing factors for the telephone follow-up response of HCC patients after hepatectomy were the reserved ifxed-line phone number, reserved ifxed-line and mobile phone number, quantity of the reserved phone number=2, quantity of the reserved phone number≥3, tumor family history.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of high intensity interval training (HIIT) on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). MethodsFrom May to October, 2021, twelve patients with T2DM were recruited with internet. An HIIT exercise intervention based on WHO Guidelines on Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour and World Health Organization Family of International Classifications (WHO-FICs) was constructed. They received aerobic combined with resistance training in a multi-combination HIIT using whole-body exercise, 30 to 35 minutes a time, three times a week, for eight weeks. Before and after intervention, their blood glucose levels, lipid levels, pancreatic fat content and body composition were measured. ResultsOne cased was dropped. After intervention, the fasting glucose, 2-hour postprandial glucose, hemoglobin A1c, fasting serum insulin, insulin resistance index, serum total cholesterol, serum triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, pancreatic fat content, body weight, body mass index, and body fat percentage improved (t > 2.258, P < 0.05). ConclusionHIIT exercise intervention based on the Guidelines and WHO-FICs could improve the related functions of patients with T2DM, such as blood glucose levels, blood lipid levels, pancreatic fat content and body composition, and reduce the consumption of hypoglycemic drugs.

It is proposed that cold qi-induced accumulation encapsulates the core pathogenesis of the inflammation-cancer transformation in inflammatory bowel disease （IBD）. Cold pathogens may serve as the initiating factor. When first invading the intestines， cold pathogens obstruct the flow of qi； over time， the lingering cold impairs the middle jiao （焦）， eventually leading to the accumulation of cold-phlegm and blood stasis. Based on the progressive nature of this transformation， the process can be divided into three stages， active stage， remission stage， and carcinogenic stage. In the active stage， the main pathogenesis involves stagnation of cold qi and accumulation of damp-heat in the intestines； in the remission stage， cold qi impairs the spleen， disrupting its transport and transformation functions； and in the carcinogenic stage， the mechanisms include cold-induced accumulation， phlegm accumulation from cold， and stagnation of cold and blood stasis. Accordingly， the treatment strategies are proposed.In the active stage， regulating qi， relieving stagnation， and harmonizing cold and heat； in the remission stage， warming yang， dispersing cold， tonifying qi， and strengthening the spleen； and in the carcinogenic stage， promoting qi circulation， dispersing cold， resolving phlegm， activating yang， and eliminating stasis to remove accumulation. These approaches aim to interrupt the transformation of IBD into colorectal cancer.
