Objective To investigate the display status of ultrasonography imaging check in central nervous system (CNS) in infants of early pregnancy and the diagnostic value of CNS malformation in infants of early pregnancy. Methods Gestational weeks of 2 751 enrolled subjects were divided according to the ultrasonic measurement of the crown rump length (CRL):11-11 +6 weeks group,12-12+6 weeks group, and 13-13 + 6 weeks group, prenatal ultrasound were performed to examine fetal CNS anatomy in infants of early pregnancy, record the display status in each groups of infants and analyze the relationship between the display situation and gestational age. Results Fourteen cases of fetal CNS malformation (20 malformations) in total were found by prenatal ultrasound, and the incidence of CNS malformation was about 5.09% (14/2 571).Wherein,12 cases of early pregnancy were diagnosed, and 2 cases of middle pregnancy were diagnosed. The sensitivity of ultrasound of early pregnancy in the diagnosis of fetal CNS malformation was 85.71%.In the group of research, the ultrasound display ratios of 11-11+6 weeks group,12-12+6 weeks group and 13-13+6 weeks group were 96.73%,97.94%,98.06%,respectively.There was no significant difference in early pregnancy fetal CNS display ratio among groups (x2 =1.56,v =2,x2< x0.05.2 =5.99,P > 0.05).Conclusions The display rate of CNS structure in infants of early pregnancy (11-13+6 weeks)is higher, and is not affected by gestational weeks.Prenatal ultrasound can effectively diagnose CNS severe malformation in infants of early pregnancy.

Objective:To investigate the risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in young patients with hyperhomocysteinemia. Methods:A total of 260 patients younger than 45 years old who received treatment at the Department of Emergency, Seventh Medical Center, Chinese PLA General Hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were included in this study. Among these patients, 126 patients with serum homocysteine levels ≥ 15.0 μmol/L were included in the hyperhomocysteinemia group, and 134 patients with serum homocysteine levels < 15.0 μmol/L were included in the control group. Height, body weight, body mass index, blood pressure, homocysteine, fasting blood glucose, blood uric acid, total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide were determined in each group. Changes in risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases were compared between the hyperhomocysteinemia and control groups. Results:There were significant differences in body mass index [(26.42 ± 3.54) kg/m 2vs. (22.14 ± 3.22) kg/m 2, t = 10.21, P = 0.016], blood uric acid [(308.71 ± 78.44) μmol/L vs. (285.05 ± 92.09) μmol/L, t = 2.22, P = 0.027], the incidence of coronary heart disease (73/126 vs. 61/134, χ2 = 4.00, P = 0.045) and the incidence of stroke (19/126 vs. 6/134, χ2 = 8.39, P = 0.004) between the hyperhomocysteinemia and control groups. There were no significant differences in fasting blood glucose, blood lipid level, N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide, and the incidences of diabetes mellitus and hypertension between the two groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusion:The related risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases increase in young patients with hyperhomocysteinemia. The incidences of coronary heart disease and stroke are very high, and therefore timely intervention should be carried out.

AIM:To investigate the effect of glaucoma knowledge education among community residents and knowledge source, and to provide reference for improving the awareness rate of glaucoma knowledge among residents.METHODS: From July 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023, a total of 752 residents live in two communities of Jinhua city were randomly selected to investigate the source of glaucoma prevention and treatment knowledge. In addition, comprehensive health education intervention lasted for 3 mo, awareness rate of core knowledge of glaucoma was investigated before and after the intervention, and the effect of the intervention was evaluated.RESULTS: The source of glaucoma related knowledge for radio and television was 33.4%; the mobile network was 40.9%; the health education was 21.5%. The overall awareness rate of glaucoma related knowledge before education intervention was 32.7%; the overall awareness rate after intervention was 48.4%, and the comparison before and after intervention was statistically significant(χ2=37.130, P<0.001). The awareness rate of 18 questions were statistically significant before and after the intervention(χ2≥13.341, P<0.001).CONCLUSION: The awareness rate of glaucoma related knowledge among residents was low, and mobile phone network and radio and television were the main sources of glaucoma related knowledge, so the education intervention was an effective means to improve glaucoma related knowledge.

【Objective】 To compare the clinical value of magnetic-controlled capsule endoscopy (MCE) and traditional capsule endoscopy (CE) in the diagnosis of intestinal diseases in hospitalized patients. 【Methods】 A single-center retrospective study was conducted in 263 inpatients who underwent MCE and CE in The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University from March 2016 to March 2020. The information included the patients’ general data, chief complaints, and results of capsule endoscopic examination. 【Results】 ① The overall detection rate in small intestinal diseases was 74.45% in MCE group and 73.81% in CE group, respectively (P=0.905). The three most common diseases in the two groups were erosive/ulcerative lesions, vascular lesions, and lymphangiectasia. ② The endoscopic auxiliary rate was significantly lower in MCE group than in CE group (0% vs. 9.49%, P<0.001). ③ There was no significant difference in the rate of intestinal incompletion between the two groups (7.94% vs. 13.87%, P=0.185). 【Conclusion】 MCE is similar to CE in the diagnostic value for intestinal diseases. Currently, it can be used as one of the methods of small intestinal examination, but this needs to be supported by more multicenter and sizable simple studies.
