Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect of cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) complicated with pulmonary emphysema.Methods 92 COPD patients complicated with pulmonary emphysema were selected as study objects,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group.46 cases in the control group were treated with antibiotic treatment, and 46 cases in the observation group were treated with cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone.The clinical curative effect, pulmonary function, blood gas index and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.30%, which was significantly higher than 76.09% of the control group (x2=8.476,P<0.05).The pulmonary function indices including FVC%,FEV1,FEV1%,MVV levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (t=2.657,3.610,2.413,2.359,all P<0.05).The PaO2 level in the observation group [(80.3±2.8)mmHg] was higher than (74.1±3.8)mmHg in the control group, the PaCO2 level in the observation group [(34.0±1.1)mmHg] was significantly lower than (40.2±2.2)mmHg in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (t=3.021,3.952,all P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions of the observation group was 6.52%,which of the control group was 10.87%, the difference was not significant (x2=1.363,P>0.05).Conclusion In elderly COPD patients with emphysema, using cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone therapy can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms, improve lung function and blood gas index, and has less adverse reactions, higher safety and high clinical application value.

Objective: To understand the current situation of intimate partner violence (IPV) among young students in Chengdu and its relationship with emotion regulation self-efficacy,and to provide a reference for conducting the education on close relationship. Methods: Totally 1 041 young students with love experience in Chengdu were selected by by stratified cluster random sampling to explore potentional factors related to IPV. Results: The incidence of IPV perpetration among young students with love experience was as high as 69.6% and the incidence of IPV victimization was 62.2%. Young students had committed(65.4%) or been subjected(64.0%) to more than three intimate partner violence. 59.92% young students were both perpetrators and victims of IPV. Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that compared with young female students, young male students were not prone to commit violence in intimate relationships(OR=0.59), but may become victims of IPV(OR=1.91). More than half a year in love(OR=1.70), cohabitation(OR=2.47), bullying by peers (OR=1.54) and interference by parents (OR=1.63) were risk factors for IPV perpetration. Among them, more than half a year in love (OR=1.51) and cohabitants (OR=2.52) were positively associated with IPV victimization. The efficacy of managing negative emotions was a negatively associated with IPV perpetration (OR=0.96) and victimization(OR=0.97)(P<0.05). Conclusion The phenomenon of intimate partner violence among young students is more common, which is closely related to the rearing style of young students, peer relationship, love relationship and the ability to manage negative emotions, which should be paid attention to.

Objective: To investigate the characteristics of neuropsychological factors in patients with persistent postural-perceptual dizziness(PPPD) and provide the basis for the psychosomatic comprehensive treatment. Methods: Cartel Personality Test (16PF), Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), HAMA, HDMD, SAS and SDS were used to evaluate personality and mental state in patients with PPPD(PPPD group, n=65) and control group(n=63). Dizziness handicap inventory(DHI) was used to evaluate the degree of vertigo.The correlation analysis was carried out between the DHI scores and 16-PF, SCL-90 factor scores. Results: (1)16PF factor scores: the factor scores of assertiveness(8.50±1.84), excitability (6.59±1.73), boldness (7.46±1.78), sensitivity (7.25±1.79), doubtfulness (6.55±1.74), fantasy(6.20±1.60), anxiety(7.67±1.61) and tension(6.81±1.67)in PPPD group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The gregariousness (4.38±1.65), intelligence (4.51±1.67), stability (3.51±1.75), independence (4.39±1.56) and self-discipline (4.70±1.82) factor scores in PPPD group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). (2)SCL-90 factor scores: the factor scores of somatization(1.62±0.40), anxiety (1.64±0.56), interpersonal sensitivity (1.79±0.42), terrifying(1.71±0.53), total points(150.77±21.60), total average score (1.62±0.51) in PPPD group were higher than those in control group (all P<0.05). There were no differences in obsessive-compulsive (1.50±0.55), depression (1.45±0.44), hostility (1.69±0.60), paranoia (1.76±0.53), somatization (1.42±0.49) and psychotic (1.29±0.35) between PPPD group and the control group (all P>0.05). (3)The factor scores of HAMA(9.08±1.77) and SAS(37.88±2.96)in patients with PPPD were higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). There was no significant difference in HAMD (6.19±2.82) and SDS (36.36±4.71) scores between PPPD group and control group (all P>0.05). (4)The DHI scores were positively correlated with assertiveness, sensitivity, tension and doubtfulness factors of 16PF.The DHI scores were positively correlated with somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety and terrifying factors of SCL-90. Conclusion Patients with persistent postural-perceptual dizziness suffer from personality changes, mental disorders and anxiety disorder.

Objective To explore the current situation and influencing factors on Classroom Mobile Phone Dependence Syndrome (CMPDS) among college students,and to provide scientific basis for guiding college students to use mobile phones reasonably and healthily.Methods Stratified cluster sampling method was used.Students from different majors and different grades in Lanzhou University were included as the research objects.Classes were recognized as a unit in receiving basic field investigation in this questionnaire related study.Informed consent principles were followed and process of survey was anonymously carried out.Results The overall rate of CMPDS in college students was 8.7％,including ‘mild rate'as 6.6％ and ‘seriously mild rate'as 2.1％.No significant differences were found on genders or grades.Factors as shopping in the classroom shopping (OR=3.720),being bored on courses (OR=1.740),WiFi coverage (OR=1.787),time of practice in the classrooms (OR=1.514),and the total time of daily mobile phone use (OR=1.513) etc,appeared as risk factors related to CMPDS among the college students.However.shooting courseware (OR=0.579) appeared as a protective factor.Conclusions Rate of CMPDS was high in college students and we suggested to form a joint task force among the college authority,teachers and students to work on the related problems.Hopefully,the serious CMPDS condition will be minimized and both physical and mental health of the college students be improved.

Objective:To study the clinical features and genotypes of neonatal Glanzmann thrombasthenia(NGT).Methods:A male neonate with NGT admitted to the Department of Neonatology of our hospital was retrospectively reviewed. CNKI, Wangfang database, VIP, the Chinese Medical Journal Full Text database, PubMed and Embase database were searched using key words '(neonate OR newborn) AND (Glanzmann thrombasthenia)' both in English and Chinese. The clinical features and genotypes of NGT were summarized and analyzed.Results:A male full-term neonate was admitted to our hospital for mass on the forehead and ecchymosis and petechiae on the body within half an hour after birth. He gradually developed subgaleal hemorrhage and severe anemia. Platelet count, mean platelet volume and coagulation functions were normal. The platelet aggregation test indicated decreased platelet aggregation rate induced by arachidonic acid and adenosine diphosphate. Genetic testing revealed two heterozygous mutations in the patient's ITGA2B gene: NM_000419.4: c.886G>A(p.Gly296Arg) and NM_000419.4: c.2855dup(p.Phe953Valfs*83). A total of 42 literature involving 44 patients (our case included) with NGT were retrieved. 33 cases (75.0%) of NGT showed ecchymosis or petechiae on the first day after birth. For 13 cases with detailed information, 5 cases with severe anemia were given erythrocyte and plasma transfusion and platelet transfusion was given in 1 case. 4 cases had homozygous variants and 4 cases showed compound heterozygous variants. 10 cases had follow-up records, including 2 cases without any bleeding and 8 cases with varying degrees of bleeding during follow-up. No deaths were reported.Conclusions:Neonates with ecchymosis and petechiae in the early postnatal period should be suspected of NGT. Blood transfusion is preferred when the indication for transfusion is met.

Background Perfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are a class of synthetic organic fluorides, which have adverse health effects on brain function, and limited research has been conducted on their effects on depression. Objective To assess potential correlation between serum PFAS and depression. Methods Using the 2015—2016 and 2017—2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) datasets, 2626 subjects with complete relevant information in people ≥20 years old were selected. Logistic regression and restricted cubic splines were used to analyze the association and dose-response relationship between serum PFAS concentration and depression. Subgroup analysis was performed on sex, age, race, education level, marital status, family income to poverty ratio, moderate exercise, body mass index, and drinking status. Results Among the 2626 subjects, there were 666 patients (25.4%) with mild or above depression. After adjusting for race, education level, marital status, body mass index, moderate exercise, drinking history, cotinine, and other types of PFAS, serum perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) was positively associated with the risk of depression (OR=1.85, 95%CI: 1.14, 3.02), and showed a nonlinear dose-response relationship (χ²=6.37, P_nonlinear=0.012). Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) was inversely associated with the risk of depression (OR=0.23, 95%CI: 0.14, 0.39), and showed a linear dose-response relationship (P_trend<0.001, χ²=35.13, P_overall<0.001). After subgroup analysis, it was found that males, 20-39 year-olds and 40-64 year-olds were more sensitive to PFNA exposure (OR=0.15, 95%CI: 0.06, 0.37; OR=0.16, 95%CI: 0.06, 0.40; OR=0.18, 95%CI: 0.08, 0.39). PFOS only showed a statistically significant health effect in people aged 20-39 years (OR=3.00, 95%CI: 1.14, 7.94). In addition, among subgroups of non-Hispanic blacks, cohabitants, current drinkers, high school graduates, and obese patients, exposure to PFAS was significantly associated with the risk of depression. Conclusion PFOS exposure may be associated with increased levels of depression, whereas PFNA exposure may be protective.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the present equipment and management situation of narcotic drugs in primary healthcare institutions from Qiandongnan prefecture of Guizhou province. METHODS The questionnaire survey was conducted among pharmacy department heads and medical staff from primary healthcare institutions in Qiandongnan prefecture of Guizhou province. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted on the survey results. RESULTS Of 251 healthcare institutions in this survey， 29 healthcare institutions were equipped with narcotic drugs， accounting for 11.55%. The reasons for the narcotic drugs unequipped were mainly as follows: insufficient attention， no storage conditions for narcotic drugs， complex program of narcotic drug management， small amount usage and so on. Among the 29 primary healthcare institutions equipped with narcotic drugs， all of them did not monitor patient usage， accounting for 100%； 29 healthcare institutions did not implement a return visit or follow-up every 3 months， accounting for 100%. CONCLUSIONS The health administration departments should strengthen the administration of narcotic drugs in primary healthcare institutions. At the same time， training on standardized management and clinical rational application of narcotic drugs for medical staff in primary healthcare institutions should be enhanced by the health administrative department.

OBJECTIVETo understand the current status of the disease burden of liver cancer in Jinchang cohort.

METHODSAll the liver cancer death data from 2001 to 2013 and medical records of liver cancer cases from 2001 to 2010 in Jinchang cohort were collected for the analyses of the mortality, standardized mortality, potential years of life lost (PYLL) and working PYLL (WPYLL) associated with liver cancer. Spearman correlation and the average growth rate were used to analyze the trends.

RESULTSA total of 207 liver cancer deaths occurred in Jinchang cohort from 2001 to 2013, accounting for 16.68% of total cancer deaths. There were 259 liver cancer inpatients, accounting for 6.79% of the total cancer cases inpatients, in which 83 died (32.05%). Liver cancer death mainly occurred in males, accounting for 88.89%, and the liver cancer deaths in females accounted for 11.11%. The standardized mortality rate was 42.32/100,000 in males and 15.31/100,000 in females. The growth rate of liver cancer mortality was 5.62% from 2001 to 2013. Liver cancer deaths mainly occurred in age groups 60-69 years (26.57%) and 50-59 years (24.15%). The PYLL was 2906.76 person-years, the average PYLL was 14.04 years. The WPYLL was 1477.00 person-years and the average WPYLL was 7.14 years. The direct economic burden of liver cancer was 6270.78 Yuan per person, 301.75 Yuan per day. The average stay of hospitalization was 21.32 days.

CONCLUSIONThe mortality rate of liver cancer is increasing and the disease burden is still heavy.
