1.An in Vitro Test of Propolis against Trichomonas vaginalis
Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1997;0(06):-
Cultured T.vaginalis was used for the anti-trichomonas test at different times, concentrations of propolis and densities of the parasites. After being cultured for 0,6,12,24 hrs,the survival rate of the parasites was(91.50?3.11)%,(43.00?6.83)%,(22.25?5.32)% and(11.50?5.74)% respectively with a significant difference between propolis group and the control.Under the concentrations of 0.24,0.48,0.96,1.92,3.84 and 7.68(mg/ml) with 24 hrs culture, the survival rate was(88.00?5.29)%,(92.67?4.16)%,(90.0?6.00)%,(84.00?4.00)%,(2.67?1.15)%,and 0 respectively. The results showed that propolis possesses clear in vitro anti-trichomonas activity which is relevant to the duration of culture and the concentration of the agent.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(05):-
A thin layer chromatograph-fluorescent method was used to assay content of scopoletin in Erycibe obtusi folia Benth.. The method showed that it not only can minimize analytical errors in thin layer scan and column contamination in HPLC,but also eliminated mutual interference of components in the preparation. It provides a good assay technique for quality control of hebal preparations. The method was carried out on thin layer plates of silica gel H(40?)with benzene-ether (1. 1: 1 )as the developer,at an excitation spectrum of 347nm,fluorescence spectrum of 420nm and a temperture of 25??1℃.The method showed good linearity(r= 0. 9998, n = 5)in the range of 0.08~0. 40?g/?l of scopoletin and the average recovery was 98. 52 % ~ 102. 67 % with RSD

Objective To study the inhibit efficiency of lake sediment phosphorus release by adding chemical reagents and to provide the technical basis for the comprehensive management of city lake. Methods In May 20,2008,Mochou Lake upper sediment and water samples were collected. The phosphorus forms of sediments, total phosphorus(TP),NaOH-P,HCl-P,inorganic phosphorus(IP),organic phosphorus(OP) were analyzed and the pH value and content of TP in water samples were determined. Each water(250 ml)-sediment(10 g) system was respectively added by 0-1 000.0 mg/L of Ca(OH)2,2.0-10.0 mg/L of A12(S04)3 and 0-25.0 mg/L of FeCl3.The pH value and content of TP in water were determined, then the control rate of TP release were calculated. Results The pH values were between 7.6-8.0,TP content was 2.0 mg/L in water of Mochou Lake. The contents of TP,HCl-P,NaOH-P,IP,OP were 2 187.06,1 383.89,526.48,1 910.37 and 276.69 mg/kg respectively. With the increase of Ca(OH)2 concentration,pH value of water increased rapidly, content of TP showed a decreasing trend, control rate of TP release was increased. With the increase of A12(SO4)3 or FeCl3 concentration,pH value of water declined slightly, content of TP showed a decreasing trend, control rate of TP release was increased. Conclusion Ca(OH)2,A12(SO4)3,FeCl3 can significantly inhibit the phosphorus release of sediments in Mochou Lake.

A postulated suppression of T lymphocyte function by clonidine (an adrenogic receptor agonist) was explored by utilizing mitogen induced lymphocyte transformation of mouse spleen cells in vitro. Added at the onset of the culture or 24h later, clonidine (10-(?)-10-8 M ) did not suppress T lymphocyte transformation induced by ConA or PHA. It implies that there is a difference in the sensitivity for clonidine between T and B lymphocyte, as clonidine has been suggested to suppress the SRBC induced primary immune response of mouse spleen cells in a dose dependent manner.

Objective To explore the effect and utilization of comprehensive treatment on intrahepatic recurrence after hepatic resection for hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods One and two year recurrent rate of 60 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent hepatic resection in a two-year follow up were analyzed retrospectively, control group 30 cases, comprehensive treatment group 30 cases. Results One and two year intrahepatic recurrent rate of comprehensive treatment is 13%(4/30)and 40%(12/30)respectively.The difference was statistically singnificant(x2=4.176,4.310,all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of comprehensive treatment on postponing intrahepatic recurrence after hepatic resection for hepatocellular carcinoma is obvious.

Objective To evaluate the Laparoscopic combined fiber choledochoscope common bile duct cho-lelithotomy for my own clinical experience in rencent five years. Methods Clinic data of 25 cases with choledocholi-thiasis undergoing laparoscopic common bile duct cholelithotomy from June 2010 to March 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results The operation was performed successfully in 24 cases,a case conversions to laparotomy,21 cases with T-tube drainage,3 cases with primary ductal submucosa closure. The operative time was 105 to 305min,mean (184.0 ±12.2 ) min, postoperative hospitalization time was 6 to 10 day, mean ( 7.7 ±0.2 ) day, a case residual stones,no bile leakage. Conclusion The beginning of Laparoscopic combined fiber choledochoscope common bile duct cholelithotomy,one-stage suture of common bile duct should be selected carefully, timely transfer laparotomy, should not aim for laparoscopic surgery success rate.

Objective To explore the application of CARE kV technique in the adult chest CT and the value of reducing radiation dose. Methods Sixty-nine patients were divided into two groups by random number generators:group A(39 cases) and group B(30 cases).Group A was examined by using CARE kV technique and group B was examined at routine 120 kV.CT dose index(CTDIvol),dose length product (DLP) and effective dose (E) were compared between the two groups, and analyzed the correlation between tube voltage selection and patient body mass index (BMI) of group A was analyzed. Results The average CTDIvol [(11.00 ± 3.89) mGy],DLP[(294.05 ± 91.17) mGy·cm] and E[(4.12 ± 1.28) mSv] of group A were lower than those of group B (16.64 ± 1.20) mGy,[(475.99 ± 41.16) mGy · cm],[(6.66 ±0.58) mSv].With statistically significant difference (t =-7.653,-10.151,-10.150,P < 0.05).Compared with routine 120 kV technique (group B),the CARE kV technique (group A) could reduce the total radiation dose about 38.14%.Compared obese patients(BMI≥28 kg/m2) with non-obese patients in group A and B,the mean E of non-obese patients was lower than that of obese patients in group A,which reduced the total E about 31.74% (t =4.322,P <0.05),while E in group B was no significant different between non-obese patients and obese patients. Conclusions In adult chest CT,CARE kV technique can select optimum scanning voltage automatically according to the patients with different BMI and anatomical regions, which can reduce the overall radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
