A scheme for constructing the information commons with characteristics of medical and pharmaceutical colleges and universities was put forward in term of its construction model, function layout and implementation steps in combination with the practical conditions in Library of Guangdong Pharmaceutical College according to the ques-tionnaire investigation and analysis of the suggestions proposed by the readers for the construction of information commons.

Objective To investigate the effects of 5-aminolaevulinic acid-photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) on precancerous changes and carcinoma of the skin in situ. Methods Fifteen patients with actinic keratosis, 3 patients with erythroplasia of Queyrat and 8 patients with Bowen′s disease were given topical ALA followed by PDT. Results The clearance was achieved in 17 lesions of 15 patients with actinic keratosis, 2 patients with erythroplasia of Queyrat and 7 patients with Bowen′s disease by topical ALA-PDT. The recurrence rates were 13.33%, 0 and 14.28% for actinic keratosis, erythroplasia of Queyrat and Bowen′s disease, respectively. Conclusions Topical ALA-PDT is a simple, effective and new treatment with lower recurrent rates, no scar formation and excellent cosmetic results for precancerous changes and carcinoma in situ of the skin, especially for the large and multifocal lesions located on the face and external genitalia.

Objective To determine whether neuron?specific enolase(NSE)affects the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer by analyz?ing the association between NSE before treatment and disease progression and overall survival of patients. Methods This study retrospectively an?alyzed 83 inpatients in the medical oncology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from March 2008 to September 2014. The Kaplan?Meier method and Cox proportional hazards models were used to analyze relevant factors affecting the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer;statistical significance was determined for a P value less than 0.05. Results The lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)level be?fore treatment was significantly associated with the progression?free survival(PFS)(P=0.001)and overall survival(OS)(P=0.036). The NSE level before treatment was also significantly associated with the PFS(P=0.007)and OS(P=0.013). Conclusion LDH and NSE affect progno?sis and survival of patients with extensive small cell lung cancer.

Objective To explore the factors that affect the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer by analyzing the association between lab-oratory indicators before treatment of extensive small cell lung cancer patients and the initial evaluation results with disease progression and overall survival. Methods This study retrospectively analyzed 96 cases of hospitalized patients in the medical oncology department of The First Hospital of China Medical University from March 2008 to September 2014. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards models were adopted to ana-lyze the relevant factors affecting the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results There was no obvious correlation between HB level before treatment with PFS of patients(P=0.179),but there was obvious significant correlation be-tween HB level and OS of patients(P=0.041). Our results showed that the TBIL level of patients before chemotherapy was significantly associated with the PFS(P=0.039)and OS(P=0.026)of patients. Conclusion HB and TBIL levels are the influencing factors that affect the prognosis and survival of patients with extensive small cell lung cancer.

Objective Infrared spectroscopy was used to study on both raw material and different degree water processing varieties extract of Radix Aconiti kusnezoffii,to observe the changes of main toxic components in processing,and thus to improve the quality of Radix Aconiti kusnezoffii processed products.Methods Fu Liye transform infrared spectroscopy was adopted to study the infrared spectrum characteristic of raw materials and different degree water processing varieties of.Radix Aconiti kusnezoffii.Results ①Aconitine and hypaconitine infrared spectrum showed that 1717 cm-1,1727 cm-1 and 1711 cm-1 is the C=O stretching vibration peak.It is a diester alkaloids characteristic peaks; ② although absorption peak of all vesicular samples had a certain change,it still existed diester alkaloids absorption peak,indicating the incomplete hydrolysis; ③ boiled aconite processing methods demonstrated diester alkaloids absorption peak shift in the water sample.Conclusion Diester alkaloids in Radix Aconiti kusnezoffii shows a positive relation with its time soaked in water.

Objective To determine the expression of Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER-2) in breast cancer and its correlation with Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α). Methods We used SABC method to detect the expression of HER-2 and TNF-α in 112 cases of primary breast cancer, and analyzed the association of HER-2 expression with clinicopathological features and TNF-α expression. Results The positive expression rate of HER-2 in breast cancer was 35.71% (40/112), of which, the expression rate was 35.05% (34/97) in 97 invasive tubic breast cancer, and 33.33% (2/6) in invasive lobular breast cancer,25.00% (1/4) in mucinous carcinoma, and 50. 00% (2/4) in intraductal carcinoma. There was no significant correlation between HER-2 and any clinicopathological features of primary breast cancer ( P ＞ 0. 05 ). The expression of HER-2 in breast cancer had no signiciant association with TNM stage, age, age of menarche,menopause, gravidity, parity and family history of cancer ( Ps ＞ 0. 05 ), The positive rate of TNF-α was 23.61% (17/72) when HER-2 was negative, whereas the positive rate of TNF-α was 52. 50% (21/40) when HER-2 was positive. The expression of HER-2 was signiciantly positively correlated with the expression of TNF-α (r = 0. 881, P ＜ 0. 05 ). Conclusion HER-2 expression had a positive correlation with TNF-α in breast cancer,but the specific mechanism is still unclear.

Objective To study the expression of tumor necrosis factor -α (TNF-a) and correlation with TNF-a in breast cancer. Methods We used SABC method to detect the expression of TNF-a in 112 cases of primary breast cancer, and analysis the relationship between TNF-α with histologic grades and ER. Results The positive expression rate of TNF-α in breast cancer was higher than those of normal tissues and lobular hyperplasia of the breast (X2 =8.573, P =0.014). There was no significant correlation between histologic grades and TNF-α (X2 =1.304, P =0.521). TNF-a had a positive correlation with ER in breast cancer (X2=11.949, P =0.001). Conclusion The positive expression rate of TNF-α in breast cancer was higher than those of normal tissues and lobular hyperplasia of the breast.TNF-α had a positive correlation with ER in breast cancer, but the exact mechanism is unclear.

Objective To study the reasons of seroma formation and long-term existence after modified radi-cal mastectomy ( MRM) .Methods The structure of fibrous lamina for seroma postoperative breast cancer was ana-lyzed by pathological methods;the composition of drainage fluids after MRM in the different postoperative time peri-ods was determined;and the structure of fibrous lamina following an experimental mastectomy model created in rats was investigated,which the process of fibrous lamina formation was imitated.Results There were three layer struc-tures in fibrous lamina,including fibrous leakage,capillaries and fiber lay.Hematology test results supported seroma for exudate.Animal model showed that with the extension of time,fibrous lamina thickened gradually.Conclusion It is capillaries in fibrous lamina that seroma long-standing histological basis.Maybe excising or destructing the structure of subcutaneous fibrous lamina,making the procedure of wound healing to begin again as soon as possible,which is a kind of effective method to solve the problem of seroma long-term existence after MRM.

Objective Sarcopenia and metabolic syndrome share similar pathophysiological mechanisms. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of sarcopenia among health examination population, and to analyze the relationship between sar-copenia and blood pressure, blood glucose, uric acid and lipids. Methods Physical examination data of 1191 healthy persons in the medical examination center of the hospital from Mar 2011 to Jun 2011 were collected. The weight, skeletal muscle, body fat, body mass index ( BMI) , waist circumference,body fat percentage, waist-hip ratio and visceral fat area were analyzed by human body compositionanalyzer and the prevalence of sarcopenia was observed. At the same time, triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipo-protein-cholesterol ( HDL-C ) , low density lipoprotein-cholesterol ( LDL-C) , uric acid and fasting blood glucose were also detected. Results The prevalence rate of sarcopenia of the subjects was 5.21%, and the highest incidence was found in ≥60 years group( 11.11%) . The prevalence rates of overweight and obesity were 33.8% and 10.2%, respectively. The prevalence of sarcopenia is grad-ually higher along with increasing BMI. The prevalence rates of sarcopenia of overweight and obesity subjects were 5.47% and 26.23%, respectively. Compared with the normal control group, the level of weight[(66.34±11.75)kg vs (76.71±12.84)kg ], BMI[(23.37± 3.13) vs (28.05±3.66)], body fat percentage[(25.33±6.06)% vs (36.76±4.47)%], waist circumference[(83.19±9.56)cm vs (95.45±13.74)cm] and visceral fat area[(88.96±29.74)cm2 vs (136.91±25.56)cm2] were higher in the sarcopenia group (P<0.05). Compared with the normal control group, the incidence of systolic blood pressure[(125.59±30.04)mmHg vs (139.39±19.79) mmHg], diastolic blood pressure[(75.82±11.95)mmHg vs (82.34±10.96)mmHg ] TG[(1.56±1.12)mmol/L vs (1.98±1.72)mmol/L] and uric acid[(313.75±83.07)mmol/L vs (335.55±96.07)mmol/L] were higher in the sarcopenia group (P<0.05). Compared with the normal subjects, the detectable rates of abnormal diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, uric acid, and LDL-C were increased in the sarcopenia, obesity and sarcopenia combined with obesity subjects (P<0.05). The odds ratio of abnormal systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, uric acid, and LDL-C increased in the sarcopenia, obesity and sarcopenia combined with obe-sity subjects using logistic regression analyses after correction of gender and age. Conclusion The sarcopenia may have some con-nection with metabolic risk factors. Early detection of sarcopenia can help to distinguish people predisposed to metabolic syndrome, and it has important significance for prevention of chronic disease.
