1.Effects of panax notoginseng saponins(三七总皂苷)on activity of lung nuclear factor-?B and acute lung injury in rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis

Objective To investigate whether panax notoginseng saponins(三七总皂苷,PNS) can inhibit the activity of lung nuclear factor-?B(NF-?B) and ameliorate the lung pathologic injury in rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP).Methods Thirty Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into three groups: sham operation group(group sham),ANP group(group ANP),PNS preconditioning group(group PNS).There were 10 rats in each group.Rat ANP model was induced by retrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate to pancreatic duct(1 ml/kg).The rats in the PNS preconditioning group were given by intraperitoneal injection of 50 g/L PNS(1 ml/kg) one hour before model establishment,and those in the other two groups were given 0.9% physiological saline(1 ml/kg) one hour before the operation.Put the rat in each group to death at 6 hours after the respective management was made,and the pulmonary tissues were taken to detect the activity of NF?B by immunohistochemistry and the wet/dry weight ratio of the lung tissue was measured.Results At 6 hours after the model was established in the ANP group,the NF-?B positive cell number(70%-100% positive cells,7 vs.0) and the positive unit((72.52?7.63)PU vs.(33.09?4.75)PU) in the lung tissue were remarkably increased in comparisons with those in the sham group(both P

4.Comparative evaluation of intense pulsed light and diode (810 nm) laser for hair removal

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intense pulsed light and diode laser for axillary hair removal. Methods Clinical trials on 61 persons using intense pulsed light and diode laser to depilate axillary hairs were conducted. 36 persons were treated by IPL and 25 persons by diode laser.Treatments were carried out in three times at 8-week intervals, and a final assessment was made 3 months following the third theatment. Results Both IPL and diode laser reduced the hair count substantially! the IPL group effective rates were 80. 6 % and the diode laser group, 76. 0 %. They had no statistical significance was (P>0. 05)). Conclusions Intense pulsed light and diode laser are effiective and safe for hair removal.
5.CT and MRI Findings of Congenital Cholesteatoma of Petrous Bone

Objective To analyze the CT and MRI manifestations of congenital cholesteatoma of petrous bone ,and evaluate the efficacy of it in the clinical practice.Methods Imaging findings in 27 pathological-proved cases were review. Imaging materials included CT scan in 26,MRI scan in 11.Results Petrous bone wall erosion and expanding tumor was observed with CT(n=23),tumor was not oberved with CT(n=3).Congenital choleseatoma signal intensity was intermediate or low on T 1W images and high on T 2W images in 11 cases.Conclusion The role of MRI and CT is affirming in the evaluation of congenital choleseatoma of the petrous bone. MRI is superior to CT for the evaluations of involvement of the membranous labyrinth and intracranial structures.
6.Study on experimental choroidal neovascularization inhibition with intravitreal bevacizumab injection

Objective To establish an experimental choroidal neovascularization(CNV)model in brown norway(BN)rats by laser infusion in order to study the evolution of CNV during 3 weeks with intravitreaI injection of 1 μl(25 μg)bevacizumab,and make a preliminary investigation of the treatment effect of bevacizumab on experimental CNV. Methods Four groups of 48 BN rats were photocoagulated by krypton laser in 1 eye to induce CNV model in 1 eye,in which 4 groups received 1 μl(25 μg)bevacizumab intravitreal injection 1 week after photocoagulation and the other groups received the same volume intravitreall injection of balanced salt solution(BSS)as control.Fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)examinations were taken on 1,2,3 week and the eyes were enucleated and processed for histopathologic examination.The areas of CNV were measured in the early phase of FFA.FⅧ-Rag protein was investigated with immunohistoehemistry and was semiquantkatively analyzed. Results The area and the leakage of CNV in bevacizumab treated BN rat eyes were obviously reduced as compared with the control group at each interval.In the treatment group,the expression of FⅧ-Rag was depressed.The examination of FⅧ-Rag and FFA verified the depression of CNV as compared with the control group at each interval.The density of treatment was lower than of control group(P<0.01).After bevacizumab treatment for 2 weeks,the area of CNV and the expression of FⅧ-Rag were decreased[(0.920±0.634)mm2 and 35.57±10.52,respectively),as compared with the control group[(2.489±0.590)mm2 and 175.37±25.20]. Conclusions Intravitreal bevacizumab injection can inhibit the development of CNV.
7.The Study of MSCT Volume Reconstruction in the Ear Lesions

Objective To investigate the value of volume reconstruction ( VR ) in showing the ear lesions and to compare with otherpost-processed methods.Methods 15 patients with hearing loss underwent MSCT ultra-high resolution scan with collimation 0.5 mm,pitch 0.5~0.875 and increment 0.1mm.An additional enhanced CT was performed in 10 of 15 cases. The various reconstructions including VR , MPR, SSD, VE, Ray Sum and MIP/MinIP were performed for the comparison of their ability in showing the ear lesions and the invasion of the auditory ossicals and the inner ear of the adjacent tumors. Results VR was the most optimal way, in showing the ear lesions,successionally in descending order was VR, MPR, SSD, MIP/MinIP. Ray Sum and VE were only suitable for showing the lesions of the inner ear and auditory ossicles respectively.Conclusion The data acquired from the scan of MSCT using 0.5 mm collimation can be used in various reconstruction methods including VR, MPR, SSD and MIP/MinIP to display the lesions of the ear and the invasion of the ear fine structures from the plane and three-dimensional view. VR is the best way, which can display the relationship between tumor and facial/auditory nerve, labyrinth .
8.Analysis of the anxiety situation and the influencing factors among gerontal patients with osteoporosis

Objective To understand the anxiety among gerontal patients with osteoporosis,and to analyze the correlated factors of the anxiety.Methods The social information of the gerontal patients with osteoporosis were investigated,as well as by SAS for the anxiety,and by NRS,PSQI,AHSMSRS for their pain level,sleep quality and healthy management.Results The incidence rate of anxiety was 20.3%,and the average score was (41 .1 4 ± 9.71 )points.Some factors had influence upon the rate,which included sex,month income,sleep quality,self -care ability,pain level,self -management and exercise.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that exercise and pain level were the major risk factors.The differences were statistically significant(t =3.033,2.727,P =0.003, 0.007).Conclusion It's higher that the incidence rate of anxiety among gerontal patients with osteoporosis maybe influenced by species of factors,and the quality of life among them needs to be improved by intervention clinically implicated in those factors.
9.Serum proteome analysis of lumbar disc herniation before and after massage therapy

BACKGROUND:Understanding the actions and underlying mechanisms of proteins in cel s and organisms and studies on the lumbar disc herniation (LDH)-associated proteins contribute to further clarify the LDH pathogenesis. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the serum proteome changes in LDH patients using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis-tandem mass spectrometry, and to screen the biomarkers for LDH diagnosis and treatment. METHODS:Twenty-five LDH patients were enrol ed and their serums were col ected before and after treatment. After removal of high abundant protein, the serum protein spectrum was compared after two-dimensional gel electrophoresis serum protein spectrum diagram, to look for differential protein spots. Subsequently, the differential protein spots were identified by MALDI-TOF/TOF technique combined with biology software and database retrieval. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Six differential protein spots were screened preliminarily, and three kinds of proteins were confirmed after mass spectrum detection, among which, acid glycoprotein was related to the LDH immune regulation and occurrence, development and targeting sites of chemical radiculitis. The expression level of acid glycoprotein was significantly decreased in LDH patients after treatment (P<0.05). These results suggest that acid glycoprotein is associated with LDH through gel electrophoresis-base proteome analysis.
10.Imaging findings of global choroidal hemangioma

Objective To describe CT and MRI findings of the global choroidal hemangioma, and to investigate their value in the diagnosis and differentiation. Methods Nine choroidal hemangioma patients proven by surgical pathology( n =3)or clinic information ( n =6) were analyzed. CT scan was performed in 6 cases and MRI in 4 cases. All cases were examined by ultrasound and 3 with fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA). Results Two cases showed slight or crescent like thickening and iso density with respect to the global wall on CT scan. 5 cases on enhanced CT showed a flat or shuttle shaped homogeneous mass with marked enhancement. MRI ( n =3) revealed high signal intensity on T 1WI and low signal intensity on T 2WI with respect to the vitreous. 1 small tumor was found clearly by postcontrast fat suppressed T 1WI. Ultrasound showed homogeneous mass ( n =1) and inhomogeneous mass ( n =8), with retinal detachment in all cases. Conclusion CT + MRI + ultrasound can get most of the diagnostic imaging data for choroidal hemangioma. MRI was superior to CT and ultrasound in the diagnosis of choroidal hemangioma and differential diagnosis from other malignant tumors.
