Objective To investigate the efficacies of different times and frequencies of acupoint application in preventing and treating child asthma of spleen-lung qi deficiency type. Method Sixty children with asthma of spleen-lung qi deficiency type were randomly allocated to dog days, dog days reinforcement, coldest days and coldest days reinforcement groups for treatment by acupoint application. The therapeutic effects were evaluated using the TCM symptom score as the observation indicator in the four groups after three months of treatment. Result The TCM symptom score decreased significantly in the four groups at the follow-up after three months of treatment (P<0.05). The main effect of treatment time was marked (F=17.04, P<0.05). The main effect of treatment frequency was marked (F=8.17, P<0.05). Conclusion Different times and frequencies of acupoint application both decrease the TCM symptom score in children with asthma. The therapeutic effect is better in dog days than in three nine-day period after the winter solstice. An increase in treatment frequency influences the therapeutic effect obviously. The therapeutic effect is best in the dog days reinforcement group.

Objective To investigate the expression of PCNA in gastric cancer and its relationship with telomerase activity of peritoneal washings and peritoneal dissemination, and to compare the efficacy of telomerase activity and cytology of peritoneal washings for prediction of peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer. Methods Telomeric repeated amplification protocol (TRAP)-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to measure the telomerase activity of peritoneal washings collected from 60 patients with gastric cancer. Exfoliate cytologic analysis of the corresponding samples was used for comparison.Expression of PCNA was measured with immunohistochemical staining.Their relationship with clinicopathologic features were evaluated. Results The positive rate of telomerase activity in peritoneal washing collected from patients with gastric cancer was 41.7%,which well related to serosal invasion, histology types, depth of infiltration and peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer. Objective: To evaluate the clinical significance of serum fibronectin and prealbumin as nutritional parameters in nutrition support after abdominal surgery.Methods: Serum albumin,transferrin,prealbumin and fibronectin were determined respectively before and 7 days after nutrition support in abdominal surgery patients,and nitrogen balance was calculated daily during nutrition support.Results: Compared with before nutrition support,the levels of serum transferrin,prealbumin and fibronectin were significantly increased after nutrition support.Furthermore,the change of prealbumin was correlated with that of fibronectin.Conclusion: Measurement of serum transferrin and prealbumin can be recommended as valuable indicators in assessing the nutritional status of surgery patients receiving nutritional support.

Objective:To explore the inhibition of microRNA (miRNA, miR)-5590-3p on the expression of transforming growth factor beta typeⅡreceptor (TGFBR2) gene and its effect on the invasion and proliferation of gastric cancer cell line HS-746T.Methods:The gastric cancer cell line was cultured in vitro. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to analyze the expression of miR-5590-3p in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines. The miR-NC and miR-5590-3p mimic were transfected into gastric cancer cell line HS-746T by lipofection, and named as miR-NC group and miR-5590-3p group, respectively. qRT-PCR was used to measure transfection effects. Transwell assay and cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay were used to detect cell invasion and proliferation after transfection. The bioinformatics software predicts and the dual luciferase reporter gene system validates the target gene of miR-5590-3p. qRT-PCR and western blot were used to measure the expression of TGFBR2 and its downstream proteins in the transfected cells. Results:The expression of miR-5590-3p in gastric cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues ( P<0.01). The expression of miR-5590-3p in gastric cancer cell lines was significantly lower than that in normal gastric mucosal epithelial cells ( P<0.05), and lowest in HS-746T cells ( P<0.01). After transfection, the expression of miR-5590-3p in miR-5590-3p group (11.76±0.21) was significantly higher than that in miR-NC group (1.06±0.21), with statistically significant difference ( P<0.01). The number of invasive cells in miR-NC group and miR-5590-3p group were (101.20±15.47) and (26.53±6.53), respectively, and the invasion ability of miR-5590-3p group was significantly decreased ( P<0.01). Compared with the miR-NC group, the cell proliferation ability of the miR-5590-3p group was significantly decreased ( P<0.05). Bioinformatics software showed that the target gene for miR-5590-3p is TGFBR2. The dual luciferase reporter gene system confirmed that miR-5590-3p can target the TGFBR2 gene ( P<0.01). Western blot results showed that compared with miR-NC group, the expression of TGFBR2 in HS-746T cells in miR-5590-3p group was significantly decreased ( P<0.01), the expression of ZEB-1 and ZEB-2, and the expression of CDK1 and cyclin B proteins were decreased as well. Conclusions:miR-5590-3p can inhibit the invasion and proliferation of gastric cancer cell HS-746T by targeting and regulating the expression of TGFBR2 gene.

Objective:To investigate the association patterns of chronic disease-relevant risk factors for the adults in Haidian District.Methods:Data for chronic disease-relevant risk factors for 3 219 adults in Haidian District in 2014 were collected and analyzed.SPSS 18.0 was used for statistical description and logistic regression.SPSS Modeler 14.1 was used to explore the association among the chronic disease-relevant risk factors.Results:Among men,5 patterns of chronic disease-relevant risk factors were identified,which suggested that heavy drinking,inadequate intake of fruit and vegetables,and physical inactivity were associated with smoking while inadequate intake of fruit and vegetables and smoking were associated with physical inactivity.Among women,one pattern of chronic disease-relevant risk factor was identified,which suggested that inadequate intake of fruit and vegetables was associated with physical inactivity.Conclusion:Chronic disease-relevant risk factors are intercorrelated among the adults in Haidian District.Information on patterns of chronic disease-relevant risk factors could assist interventions targeting multiple behaviors simultaneously.

ObjectiveTo discuss the application of neurophysiological monitoring (NEPM), intraoperative color Doppler ultrasonography, fluorescein angiography and neuroendoscope in clinical effects of intracranial giant aneurysm microsurgey. MethodsTo retrospectively review the clinical data of 17 intracranial giant aneurysm. Pre-operative imaging were used, including 3D- CTA, MRI and DSA, to make dectection and delineation of the aneurysm.The NEPM to evaluate the nerve function,assess the qualitative and quantitative flow rate of aneurysm and surrounding blood vessels by Doppler ultrasonography and fluorescein angiography,and reveal opography of aneurysm,protect the considerable perf.vessels and nerves by neuroendoscope.Operative techniques were used including parent artery control,aneurysm neck forming,aneurysm decompression and resection,obliteration of aneurysm with multiple clips and vasospasm protection.Results Seventeen cases of giant aneurysms were clipped successfully under muti-technology, follow-up demonstrated excellent neurological outcomes in 15 cases, one case had mild disability, one case had severe disability, no dead cases. DSA showed clipping completely, parent artery clear, and long-term follow-up was still in progress.Conclusion Multi-technology combined microsurgical techniques which can effective improve the outcomes of intracranial giant aneurysms.

Objective To design a test phantom for clinical routine quality control of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).Methods The commonly used phantom such as Magphan SMR170 and Victoreen 76-903 were used for experiments with the same parameters,and the test data of all the modules were compared.The advantages and disadvantages of all the modules were analyzed,and an optimization scheme was proposed accordingly.Results The phantom could be applied to the detection of high-image-quality MRI machine,and solved the problems in positioning,size matching and etc.Conclusion The new phantom meets the demand of magnetic resonance imaging clinical routine testing,and provides a certain reference for phantom optimization design.

Objeetive To analyze the clinicopathologic features of proliferative sclerosing IgA nephropathy and the efficacy of prednisone therapy.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted,enrolling 50 patients with biopsy-proven primary proliferative sclerosing IgA nephropathy who were admitted in the Hospital from January 2005 to June 2015-26 males and 24 females,mean age (36.8 ± 10.4) years.Clinicopathologic features and prednisone therapeutic effect were analyzed.Results The clinical manifestations of 50 cases were nephritis syndrome with varying degrees of renal insufficiency,including 32 cases (64.0％) with hypertension,15 cases (30.0％) with microscopic hematuria.Renal biopsy showed the incidence of glomerular global sclerosis was 17.0％-47.2％,tubular atrophy/ interstitial fibrosis outstanding (T0 50％,T1 32％,T2 18％).After prednisone treatment,compared with sustained remission group and relapse group,invalid patients had higher incidence of hypertension (P ＜ 0.05),relatively lower Hb (P ＜ 0.01) and serum albumin,more significant renal dysfunction (P ＜ 0.01),more severe glomerular global sclerosis,segmental sclerosis,tubular atrophy/ interstitial fibrosis,while the lower interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration.During the follow-up,which lasted from 6 to 132 months (median 27.3 months),the effective rate of treatment was 74.0％ after sufficient prednisone or half dose prednisone therapy.Repeated recurrence rate was 32.0％.At the end of the follow-up period,13(26.0％) patients entered the stage of uremia.Conclusions Application of glucocorticoids in the treatment of proliferative sclerosing IgA nephropathy can protect renal function and delay the progression of renal impairment.The efficacy of glucocorticoids therapy is significantly associated with the presence or absence of hypertension,the degree of renal function impairment,and the severity of the onset of renal pathology.

Objective To investigate the patterns of change in thyroid functional parameters ( serum TSH,FT3, and FT4 ) in patients with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) before and after the initial 131I treatment for thyroidal remnant ablation. Methods Seventy-four PTC patients, treated with 3.7 GBq 131 I therapy, were divided into two groups, group A with serum TSH＜30 mIU/L and group B with serum TSH ≥30 mIU/L the day before 131I treatment. Five days after the treatment, the patients were re-examined for serum FT3, FT4, and TSH levels.Results In group A (22 cases), 5 days after the 131I ablation treatment, FT4significantly increased by 88% and FT3 by 87%, while TSH decreased by 87% (all P＜0. 05 ), and 45% (10/22)cases manifested the signs of transient thyrotoxicosis. In group B (52 cases)after treatment, individual variance of FT3 and FT4 was obvious,with FT4 decreased by 13% and FT3 decreased by 14% ( both P＜0. 05 ), while TSH slightly increased by an average of 6% ( P＞0.05 ). Conclusion After the initial 131 I ablation therapy for thyroidal remnant, the thyroid hormone levels in some PTC patients significantly increase while in others may slightly decrease in the early stage. The supplementary and suppressive therapy after 131I ablation for PTC patients might be individualized depending on the thyroid hormone determination.

Objective To investigate insulin resistance in type 1 diabetes(T1DM)with euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp.Methods Eight cases of newly diagnosed T1DM and 8 cases of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(T2DM)were selected.Their insulin sensitivity index(ISI)was evaluated with euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp after 2 week insulin intensive treatment and compared with that of 10 heMthy volunteers(normal control group,NC group).Results Age,BMI,fasting insulin(Fins),fasting C-peptide in the TI DM group were significantly lower than those in the NC group.while waist-to-hip ratio (WHR),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C were not significantly different between the T1DM and NC groups.Age,BMI,WHR,Fins,fasting C-peptide,SBP,TC,TG in the T1DM group were significantly lower than those in the T2DM group.The ISI of the NC,TlDM and T2DM groups were 12.83±1.09,9.95±0.50,3.80±0.20,respectively.There was significant difference among the three groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion The ISI in T1DM Was significantly lower than that in NC group,but higher than that in T2DM.
