Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of platinum-based chemotherapy combined radiotherapy for cervical cancer.Methods From October 2008 to June 2010,61 patients with cervical cancer were treated by radiotherapy( conventional external radiation and after-loading brachytherapy,to a total dose of 8000- 8500 cGy)combined platinum-based chemotherapy (cisplatin or nedaplatin 20 mg/m2,one times per weeks) in our department.The clinical efficacy and side effects were evaluated.Results Among 61 patients,the short-term effective rate was 100％ ( 61/61 ) and 1-year survival rate was 85.2％ ( 52/61 ).There was no significant difference between cisplatin group and nedaplatin in 1-year survival rate ( 84.6％ vs.85.7％,x2 =0.014,P=0.095).Arrest of bone marrow at Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳlevel occurred 5,24,5 and 1 patients in the cisplatin group,and 6,12,3 and 3 patients in the nedaplatin group.There was also no significant difference between these two groups in great mass side effects induced by chemoradiotherapy (x2 =6.402,P =0.171 ).Conclusion It is worth practising of platinum-based chemotherapy combined radiotherapy for cervical carcinoma.The side effects induced by chemoradiotherapy is low.

Objective To evaluate sacral nerve stimulation (SNS) in the treatment of spastic pelvic floor syndrome (SPFS).Method In this study,36 patients of spastic pelvic floor syndrome who received SNS treatment from 2011.3 to 2011.12,were reviewed in terms of clinical curative effect,changes of anal pressure and defecography.Result After a course of SNS treatment,patients were followed up for 3 months,12 cases were cured,22 cases improved and 2 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 94.4％.The symptoms such as endless defecate feeling,difficulty in defecation,anal pain and anal obstruction feeling improved significantly (P ＜0.01 ).After the therapy,rectal anal reflex( RAR)threshold value volume rose,anal maximum contraction pressure (AMCP),anal rest perssure (ARP) decreased (P ＜ 0.01 ).While the anal longest contraction time (ALCT)and rectal rest pressure (RRP) did not change significantly (P ＞ 0.05 ).After treatment,when patient defecate the anorectal angle (ARA) increases,the puborectal muscle spasm notch (PMSN)attenuates (P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusions SNS is effective and minimally invasive in treating spastic pelvic floor syndrome.

Objective To investigate the expression of p53,VEGF,E-cad,CK20 and its clinical meanings in bladder transitional cell carcinoma. Methods The specimen microarrays and immunohistochemistry were applied to detect selected cancer-related protein expression in 45 cases of bladder TCC and 8 cases of normal control. Results Abnormal expression of p53,E-cad and CK20 were detected 100.0%,55.6%,55.6% respectively in bladder TCC group,which were expressed normally in control group with significant differences.However,there was no VEGF expression differences between those 2 groups (87.5% v.86.7%).Abnormal expression intensity of p53 and expression rate of E-cad were closely related to the pathological features.CK20 expression was co-related positively with disease staging rather than grading.VEGF played less role in co-relating with pathological features. Conclusions p53,E-cad and CK20 play an important roles in the development of bladder TCC,and VEGF plays less.Microarrays is suggested to detect a large scale of specimen for multiple proteins,it is effective.

Objective:To compare the clinical effects and improvement of serum hormone levels of kidney tonifying and blood circulation recipe and mirena in the treatment of perimenopasual dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Methods:92 cases of perimenopausal patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding in our hospital from July 2013 to November 2016 were selected and divided into group A and group B with 46 cases in each group.Group A was orally administered with kidney tonifying and blood circulation recipe,and group B was administered with mirena.Both groups were treated for 3 periods.The efficacy and incidences of adverse effect in two groups were observed.The levels of serum hormones and hemoglobin (Hb),and endometial thickness (ET) were detected in two groups.The indices of serum hormone included follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),progestone (P) and estradiol (E2).Results:No significant difference was found in the total effective rate between two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum FSH,LH,E2 and P as well as ET and Hb in both groups were all significantly lower than those before treatment (P＜0.01),and the levels of serum FSH,LH,E2 and P as well as ET of group B were significantly lower than those of group A (P＜0.01),no significant difference in the Hb level between two groups (P＞0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of group B (15.22％) was significantly higher than that of group A(0％) (P＜0.01).Conclusions:The kidney tonifying and blood circulation recipe had similar effect as mirena in the treatment of perimenopasual dysfunctional uterine bleeding,while mirena had strong improving effect in serum hormone level and ET,kidney tonifying and blood circulation recipe had higher security.

Objective To study the clinical features of target organ damage in children with essential hypertension.Methods From Jan.2007 to Oct.2013,86 children were enrolled who were diagnosed as essential hypertension in the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Institute of Pediatrics.All children received the following examinations:fundus oculi,electrocardiogram,echocardiography,serum triglyceride,glucose,insulin,C peptide,uric acid,renal function,urine microalbumin,serum and urine β2-microglobulin.All data were collected as standard procedure and analyzed by using statistic methods.Results In all recruited children,there were 68 boys (79.1％)and 18 girls (20.9％) with the average age of (12.3 ±2.4) years old.There were 46 children(53.5％) with grade Ⅰ hypertension and 40 (46.5％) with grade Ⅱ hypertension,13.5％ (7/52 cases) of the children with retinal vessel damage,21.0％ (17/81 cases) with abnormal electrocardiogram,and 2.6％ (2/78 cases) with left ventricular hypertrophy and increased left ventricular posterior w all thickness.Thirty-seven percent (30/81 cases) of the children had a higher voltage of R wave in V5 than average values at the same ages.Renal damage mainly included increased serum creatinine and microalbuminuria,with the rates of 40.2％ (33/82 cases) and 39.7％ (23/58 cases),respectively.Metabolic disorders mainly included 87.5％ (56/64 cases) hyperuricemia,32.5％ (25/77 cases) hypertriglyceridemia,22.1％ (19/86 cases) hepatic adipose infiltration,and 36.1％ (30/83 cases) hyperinsulinemia or sugar intolerance damage.There were 58 (67.4％) children wit h obesity.Compared with normal weight children,children with obesity had a higher rate of target organ damage(98.3％ vs 82.1％,x2 =5.291,P =0.021),and hyperinsulinemia or sugar intolerance damage(45.5％ vs 17.9％,x2 =6.123,P =0.013).Children with the course longer than 6 months showed a higher rate of hyperinsulinemia or sugar intolerance damage than the children with the course less than 6 months(50.0％ vs 25.5％,x2 =5.788,P =0.021).Conclusions Target organ damage caused by adolescent essential hypertension is present at diagnosis in most of these children.Electrocardiogram and echocardiography are effective measures for early detection of cardiac damage of hypertension.Serum uric caid and urine microalbumin can be used as early warning and screening indexes.To enhance blood pressure monitoring of children with obesity will be helpful for early diagnosis of essential hypertension,which will decrease the rate of target organ damage with earlier effective interference.

Objective To compare gross tumor volume (GTV) of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) according to MRI and FDG PET/CT and to investigated four fixed threshold methods to delineate the GTV using FDG PET/CT.Methods Fifty patients with primary biopsy-proven NPC were prospectively were enrolled into the study.FDG PET/CT scans and MRI were carried out within one week prior to pretreatment,respectively.The GTV was named GTV-MRI (GTV were delineated according to MRI),GTV-PETvis,GTV-PET30,GTV-PET40,GTV-PET50 (GTV was delineated according to the PET-based GTVs obtained by visual interpretationor,by percentage of the SUVmax (30％,40％,50％) thresholds,respectively).The differences were compared among the GTV-MRI,GTV-PETvis,GTV-PET30,GTV-PET40 and GTV-PET50 in different by Wilcoxon test.Results Of 50 patients,the median of volume descending order were: GTV-MRI 27.8 cm3,GTV-PETvis 22.2 cm3,GTV-PET30 22.7 cm3,GTV-PET40 14.4 cm3 and GTV-PET50 9.0 cm3.However,there was no significant difference between GTV-PETvis and GTV-PET30 (Z=-0.05,P=0.958),as well as GTV-MRI and GTV-PETvis or GTV-PET30 in 25 patients who were T1-2 stage (Z =-0.93,-0.93,P=0.353,O.353),the other GTVs were all different in 50 patients' (Z=-5.74-2.09,P =0.000-0.037).Conclusions All the GTVs delineated by the different methods of using FDG PET/CT were less than the GTV delineated by MRI.The potential advantages with the GTV-PETvis or GTV-PET30 delineated by FDG PET/CT are reduction of biological metabolic tumor volume in GTV delineation and reduction of the size of the GTV in NPC patients.

Objective To observethe efficacy of mice infected with Sparganum mansoni by using different dosages of praziquantel.Methods A total of 156 Kunming mice were divided into 2 batches.each of them wag orally infted with 5 spargana.Thirty-six mice in the first batch were equally divided into 6 groups.the mice in group 1-5 were inoculated with spargana cultured in different concentrations of praziquantel for 3 days,the group 6 served as a control.One hundred and twenty mice in the second batch were equally divided into 12 groups,each mouse was inoculated with spargana obtained from frogs or tadpoles,group 1-9 were treated by different desages of praziquantel 1 or5 weeks post infection.group 10-12 served as controls.All of the mice wore sacriftced and dissectedl or 2 weeks after the treatment.the mean number of worms recovered was cmculated and worm reduction rates were determined.Results The number of worm recovered from mice infected with spargana cultured in 10-40 μg/ml of praziquantel had no significant difference with that of the control(P>0.05).The worm reduction rate wag 16.60%while the spargana beins cultured in 50 μg/ml of praziquantel.The worm reduction rates of the mice that sacrificed 1 week or 2 weeks after being treated by the same dosage of praziquantel had no significant difference(P>0.05).When being treated with 200.400 or 800 mg/kg of praziquantel 1 week post infection,the number of worm recovered from mice infected with spargana from frogs had no significant difference with those of the control 1 and 2 weeks after the treatment(P>0.05).The worm reduction rates between the groups with the same dosage 1 week and 2 weeks post treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05).When being treated with 200 or 400 mg/kg of praziquantel 1 week post infection,the number of worm recovered from mice infected with spargana from tadpoles had no statistically difference with that of the control 1 week after treatment (P>0. 05). The worm reduction rate of mice was only 17.02% while being treated with 800 mg/kg of praziquantel. The worm reduction rates among groups with different dosages had no significant difference (P>0.05). Compared with the mice infected with spargana from frogs treated with 1 200 or 1 800 mg/kg of praziquantel 5 weeks post infection, the difference between the numbers of worm recovered from mice 1 week and 2 weeks after treatment had no statistically significance (P > 0.05), but they were significantly higher than those of the controls (P<0.05 ). The worm reduction rates among the groups with the same dosage had no significant difference (P>0.05). ConclusionsPraziquantel (10-50 μg/ml) has no evident killing effect on spargnna in vitro, but when the dosage is higher(1 800 mg/kg), it has certain efficacy for treating the mice infected with spargana by oral inoculation.

Objective：To explore the difference in creative thinking and the related factors between deaf children and normal children.Methods：Observation group(n=122)with the hearing disability students were selected from 4 special education schools.Control group(n=122)was come from 2 ordinary primary schools and 2 ordinary middle schools.The two groups were given both the New Creativity Test and the Combined Raven's Test.Results：(1)Deaf children got lower scores than normal children in verbal fluency[(7.76±0.75)vs.(12.98±0.59),P<0.001],verbal flexibility[(4.28±0.33)vs.(7.87±0.28),P<0.001],verbal originality [(7.16±0.89)vs.(11.35±0.72),P<0.001],figural flexibility[(9.69±0.35)vs.(11.10±0.31),P=0.003]and IQ[(101.05±1.196)vs.(105.01±1.102),P=0.030].Deaf children got higher scores than normal children in figural elaboration[(3.24±0.40)vs.(1.96±0.22),P=0.006].There was no significant difference in fluency and originality of figural task between the two groups.(2)Deaf children's scores of verbal fluency and verbal originality were positively correlated with their age(β=0.310,0.301;Ps<0.01).Deaf children's scores of verbal flexibility were positively correlated with length of bilingual education(β=0.308,P<0.001).Deaf children's scores of figural fluency,figural flexibility,figural originalityand figural elaboration were correlated positively with their age of sign language(β=0.321,0.308,0.228,0.456;Ps<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Deaf children are lower than normal children in verbal fluency,verbal flexibility,verbal originality,figural flexibility,and are higher in figural elaboration.There is no difference in figural fluency and originality between them.(2)Sign language is a major related factor to deaf children's figural creative thinking.

Objective To evaluate the curative effect and security of mechanical thrombectomy with SolitaireAB stent system in acute superior mesenteric artery embolism(SMAE).Methods The clinical data of 5 cases who had undergone mechanical thrombectomy with SolitaireAB stent system under digital subtraction angiography (DSA) were analyzed retrospectively.Results A successful thrombus removal of superior mesenteric arterial by SolitaireAB stent system was observed in the whole 5 patients.The patients had recovered well after operation and no complications such as arterial dissection,perforation and hemorrhage or intestinal ischemia occurred.Conclusion The arterial mechanical thrombectomy with SolitaireAB stent system are characterized with high rate of recanalization,fine security,minimal invasion and less complications in patients with acute superior mesenteric arterial embolism.

Coxsackievirns A16(CVA16),together with enterovirus type 71(EV71),is responsible for most cases of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD) worldwide.Recent findings suggest that the recombination between CVA16 and EV71,and the co-circulation of these two viruses may have contributed to the increase of HFMD cases in China over the past few years.It is therefore important to further understand the virology,epidemlology,virus-host interactions and host pathogeuesis of CVA16.In this study,we describe the viral kinetics of CVAI6 in human rhabdomyosarcoma(RD) cells by analyzing the cytopathic effect(CPE),viral RNA replication,viral protein expression,viral RNA package and viral particle secretion in RD cells.We show that CVA16 appears to first attach,uncoat and enter into the host cell after adsorption for 1 h.Later on,CVA16 undergoes rapid replication from 3 to 6 h at MOI 1 and until 9 h at MOI 0.1.At MOI 0.1,CVA16 initiates a secondary infection as the virions were secreted before 9 h p.i.CPE was observed after 12 h p.i.,and viral antigen was first detected at 6 h p.i.at MOI 1 and at 9 h p.i.at MOI 0.1.Thus,our study provides important information for further investigation of CVA16 in order to better understand and ultimately control infections with this virus.
