Theory of property of Chinese herbs is not only core contents in theorectical system of TCM,but also important basis on guiding clinical usage of TCM.Following modern science and technology combined with TCM,theory of property of Chinese herbs has been rising to new height.Theory of properties’ separation of Chinese herbs is put forward in accordance with substances’ separation and functions’ separation of Chinese herbs in order to widen intension of theory of property of Chinese herbs,explore its space and guide the practice of TCM.

Objective To improve developing levels of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) new skills and products.Methods The paper analyzed importance of course construction,teaching mode contents,enforcement steps,and expected destinations of "TCM development and applica-tion".Result "TCM development and application"involved research skills and applied contents of new drugs.Its teaching modes'construction indicates the college's adaptability to social economic development,science progress and professions.Conclusion This courses' teaching quality and practical level should be improved and increased.

To study the clinical application value of laparoscope in purnlent hepatitis drainage.11 patients were done the purnlent hepatitis by laparoscope.10 patients succeeded.The purnlent hepatitis by laparoscope operately cheaply,had small operational wound,patients recovered rapidly,had little postoperative complication,which showed the superiority fully.It was the most common pelviscopy in purnlent hepatitis treatment.

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of three operative procedures,removal of armpit skin,minimally-invasive aspiration and small transverse incision in the treatment of osmidrosis.Methods Retrospective review was conducted in the treatment of osmidrosis for near ten years.Three methods were compared in the indication,feature and effectiveness.Results A total of 459 cases (123 males and 336 females) of osmidrosis were treated with the three methods.Satisfactory rates of the three methods were 98%,96% and 97%.respectively.Recurrence was found in 7 cases.Conclusions Modified procedure of minimally invasive aspiration has advantages of quick recovery,less complications and satisfactory results.It is the first choice for patients with mild and moderate osmidrosis.Bat for male patients with severe or recurred osmidrosis,treatments are surgical removal of the skin with armpit hairs and suture method.

Objective To explore the mechanism of VEGF treating cerebral ischemia. Methods A rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was set up by nylon suture embolization. The naked plasmid DNA encoding vascular endothelial growth factor(pUCCAGGS/hVEGF 165 ) was directly injected through skull into the ischemic areas of brain. After seven days the rats were killed. RT-PCR was used to measure the expression of VEGF mRNA in the brain tissues, and immunohistochemistry was appllied to detect the expression of VEGF, Fas and Fas L in the brain tissues. Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane (TAP)block on the efficacy of postoperative analgesia in parturients undergoing selective cesar-ean delivery.Methods Eighty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ parturients recruited for selective cesarean delivery under combined spinal-epidural anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups(n =40 each):TAP group (group T)and control group(group C).After cesarean delivery,bilateral of ultrasound-guided TAP block were performed,20 ml of 0.5% ropivacaine was injected in each side in group T,while TAP was not done in group C.Both groups received patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA)after cesarean delivery.The resting and exercise visual analogue scale (VAS)scores,Ramsay sedation score and the Bruggrmann comfort scale(BCS)score were evaluated at 2,4,6,8 and 24 h after operation. The consumption of sufentanil within 24 h after operation,the number of successfully delivered doses (D1 )and the number of attempts (D2 )within 24 hr after operation were recorded.D1/D2 was calculated.The parturients satisfaction and the adverse reactions were also recorded.Each parturient was assessed postoperatively by a blinded investigator.Results The consumption of sufentanil within 24 hr after operation,the resting and exercise VAS scores at 2,4,6 hr after surgery were significant-ly lower,while the BCS score,the value of Dl/D2 and the degree of satisfaction were higher in group T than those in group C (P <0.05).There were no adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion Ultra-sound-guided TAP block reduces the postoperative sufentanil consumption,enhances the efficacy of post-cesarean analgesia of the parturients.Comfort and satisfaction are achieved in the parturients of the group T.

To investigate the effect of propofol on the plasma contents of endothelin(ET) and calcitonin gene related peptide(CGRP).Twelve monkeys with hemorrhagic shock were divided randomly into two groups.The monkeys in propofol group(PG) were administered propofol to 8mg/L plasma concentration by target control infusion with computer,while monkeys in control group(CG) were not .Venous blood were collected to determine plasma ET and CGRP contents by radioimmunoassay before bleeding, 2 hours after hemorrhagic shock and 2h after resuscitation. Compared with control group,the CGRP level and CGRP/ET of PG were significantly increased at 2h after hemorrhagic shock and 2h after resuscitation,while ET level of PG at 2h after resuscitation was significantly lower than that of CG. These findings indicate that propofol can increase the plasma content of CGRP and decrease the plasma content of ET in monkeys after hemorrhagic shock and resuscitation, and ET may play an important role in the development of hemorrhagic shock.

Objective To compare the influences of peridural and general anesthesia on respiration and circulation in gynecological laparoscopic operation. Methods Fifty-six patients, underwent gynecological laparoscopic operation during June to October, 2003, are divided into two groups. The items of respiration and circulation recorded before and 10, 20, 30, 40min after pneumoperitoneum as well as 5 min after deflation abdomen were as follows: blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), sphygmus oxygen saturation (SpO_2), end-expiratory pressure of CO_2 (P_ ETCO_2), tidal volume, frequency of respiration, minute ventilation volume and airway pressure. Results The re-consciousness time after the operation in the peridural anesthesia group is significantly less than that in the general anesthesia group (P0.05). Conclusion In gynecological laparoscopic operation, no significant difference was found concerning the influence of the two anesthesia manners on respiration and circulation.

Objective To investigate the bacteriostatic effect of starch-based alkyl poly glycoside(APG).Methods The nutrient broth dilution method was used to investigate the inhibiting effect of C8-10,C12 and pilot product C12 APG to the E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus.Results Determination of antibacterial fluid absorption was performed after 24 h-reaction.The MIC of C12,pilot product C12 and C8-10 were 0.03125,0.25 and 0.0156 g/ml for the E.coli;and were 0.062 5,0.25 and 0.062 5 g/ml for Staphylococcus aureus.Based on bacterial culture counts,at the APG concentration of MIC or higher than the MIC,the inhibitory rate of bacteria was more than 99%,the bacteriostatic effect was accorded with the absorbance.Conclusion Starch-based APG may have some antibacterial effects.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the analgesic efficacy and adverse reactions of fentanyl transdermal in the treatment of advanced carcinoma pain.METHODS:43patients suffering from advanced carcinoma pain were administered with fentanyl transdermal system every3days with the dosage regulated accordingly until the patients feel painless or almost painless in24h.RESULTS:The general remission rate was90.7%for fentanyl transdermal in the treatment of moderate and severe cancer pain.Its main manifestations of adverse reactions were dizziness,drowsiness,nausea,vomiting and constipation,which have low incidence rates and degree of which were also low.CONCLUSION:Fentanyl transdermal system has durable and stable analgesic effect with its distinct way of transdermal slow-release,which is simple in operation and minor in adverse reactions;and it can be used as the substitutes for oral hadro-opioid.
