Objective To investigate the incidence and its related factors of apathy in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 100 consecutive cases of ischemic stroke patients and 50 health controls were recruited in the present study. Apathy was assessed using modified apathy evaluation scale (MAES). According to the MAES score, acute ischemic stroke patients were divided into apathy group (MAES was more than 14 points) and non-apathy group. The differences of general information, clinical data, national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS), Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA), Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), modified rankin scale (mRS) and the lesion location were compared between the two groups. Differences that showed statistical significance (P<0.05) went into the multi-factor analysis. The Logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the influence factors of apathy. Results There were 34 cases of apathy in patient group (34.00%), which was significantly higher than those of control group (3 cases of apathy, 6.00%, P<0.001). The age, incidence of diabetes, NIHSS score, HAMD score, lesions in brain stem and multiple lesions were significantly higher in apathy group than that of non-apathy group, while educational level, MoCA score were significantly lower ( P<0.05). The Logistic regression analysis showed that the higher MoCA score was a protective factor for apathy, while higher NIHSS score, lesions in brain stem and multiple lesions were risk factors for the incidence apathy. Conclusion The cognitive impairment, severity of neurological deficits, brainstem lesions and multiple lesions may be the risk factors of apathy after the occurrence of acute ischemic stroke.

Objective To better understand the relationship between doctors service quality and benefit in township public health centers so as to grasp the priorities of management and reform and promote the healthy development of the health cause. Methods The method of single factor analysis was combined with the method of stepwise logistic regression analysis. Results The study indicates that doctors delivering high quality service on average see more patients per day and contribute more to the business income and that service expenses are lower for patients seeking service from doctors who on average see more patients per day. Conclusion There is a positive correlation between doctors service quality and benefit in township public health centers.

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of selective angiotensinⅡtype 1 receptor antagonist ZD7155 on the inhibition of pancreatic cancer in vitro.Methods MTT assays were used to determine the inhibition of pancreatic cancer cell line PaTu8988s by ZD7155 in different concen- trations and at different time.PaTu8988s cell cycle and cell apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry. Transmission electron microscope was used to investigate the apoptosis of PaTu8988s before and after the incubation with ZD7155 under different concentrations.PaTu8988s cell morphology was observed be- fore and after the incubation with ZD7155.Results MTT showed that the increase of inhibition of pan- creatic cancer cell by ZD7155 was in agreement with the increase of the concentrations of ZD7155 and the time of the incubation with ZD7155.The inhibition rates of PaTu8988s cells were 9%,18%,30%, 51%,60% and 78% by ZD7155 with the concentrations of 5?10~(-11),5?10~(-10),5?10~(-9),5?10~(-8),5?10~(-7) and 5?10~(-6) mol/L,respectively.The inhibition rates of PaTu8988s cells were 15%,25%, 36%,51%,67% and 85% by ZD7155 with the same concentration(5.0?10~(-8) mol/L)at 12,24,36, 48,60 and 72 hours,respectively.ZD7155 could also inhibit PaTu8988s cell cycle significantly and was dose-dependent.Cell electron microscopy showed that there were chromatin margination and apoptotic body in the cell nucleus when the cells were incubated with ZD7155,and these changes were increase with the concentrations of ZD7155.The morphology of PaTu8988s cell didn't have any change after in- cubation with ZD7155.Conclusions ZD7155 can inhibit the growth of pancreatic cancer cells in vitro by suppressing the S-phase of cell cycle and induce cell apoptosis without visible cell toxic effects.

Objective To study the clinical significance of P - selection expression in children with viral encephalitis and the correlation between this expression and the cerebral infarction with critical viral encephalitis. Methods Flow cytometric was employed to detect the expression of P- selection on the surface of platelet membrane in 44 children with viral encephalitis(20 light patients and 24 critical patients) and 20 healthy control children. The area of the cerebral infarction was determined by computed tomographic scan in 20 patients with critical viral encephalitis. The correlation between the two variables was analyzed. Objective To evaluate the performance parameters of the PET instrument, which has been used for years in our hospital, assuring the stability of image quality and performance parameters. Methods NEMA NU 2-1994 Standards was used as reference for performance measurement of PET, which were published by National Electrical Manufacturers Association(NEMA). The NEMA standard cylinder model, 18F radiation source, and 18F and 68Ge columniform radiation source were used. Results Projects for performance measurement and daily quality control were drawn up. Conclusion This project provides a reference and methods for the performance measurement of PET instrument and daily quality control. It better ensures the stability of image quality and performance parameters of the PET instrument.
