Conclusion For patients with aggressive B cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, rituximab combined with CHOP chemotherapy has better short-term effects and its adverse reactions are tolerable, which helps patients to improve the quality of life.
2.Wound Healing

The Singapore Family Physician 2014;40(3):6-16
Wound healing is achieved through four coordinated and overlapping phases, 1) haemostasis, 2) inflammatory, 3) proliferative and 4) remodelling. This complex process can be disrupted by local or systemic risk factors, resulting in delayed healing and progression to a chronic wound. Chronic wounds interact closely with a patient’s comorbid illnesses, social circumstances and functional status. The Family Physician plays an important role to optimise patient and wound risk factors that impair wound healing. Strategies to enhance wound healing include optimising local wound care based on TIME principles, identification and optimising the underlying causes for poor wound healing and education to the patients and their caregivers in wound care, dressing changes and avoidance of risk factors to prevent recurrence. Complex chronic wound care may need a multi-disciplinary approach involving allied health members to provide additional nutritional, nursing and psychosocial support. There is a role for adjuvants such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and platelet derived growth factor gels to enhance healing in certain wounds but stronger evidence is required to support its routine use.

International Eye Science 2005;5(6):1093-1096
AIM: To explore the feasibility of combining small pieces of allo-conjunctiva transplantation (ACT) with amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT) to reconstruct ocular surface.METHODS: Bilateral superior bulbar conjunctiva of New Zealand white rabbits were burned by NaOH (1mol/L).After 24h, the right eye (experimental groups Exps) was performed AMT and ACT;the left eye (control groups Cons)was done merely ACT. The viability and function of allografts were identified by PAS staining and scanning electron microscope (SEM) of cytology impression (CI) every week after the operation.RESULTS: In Exps, no obvious rejection was observed. All grafts survived, extended and covered the conjunctival defect. The appearance of grafts, and the shape, number, and function of goblet cells recovered perfectly four weeks after the operation;however, in Cons, obvious rejection was found. Seven grafts were rejected and. symblepharon was observed in those eyes. The appearance of survival allografts were similar to the normal conjunctiva, with similar shape, number and function of goblet cells till the fifth week after the operation. The survival ratet was significantly higher in Exps than in Cons (P <0.05).CONCLUSION: ACT based on AMT can be considered a good way to reconstruct ocular surface for large area conjunctiva alkali burns in early-stage.

Flavonoid naringin is widely distributed in various types of plants and is an important component of herbal Drynaria. In previous studies, Drynaria has been demonstrated to have inhibitory effects on inflammatory responses and bone destruction and exert anabolic effects on bone, has been widely used in the clinical treatment. Naringin, was in the stage of experimental yet. The experimental results have confirmed that naringin suppressed inflammation including arthritis by lowering the expression of inflammatory cytokines, and the mechanism can be explained as reducing the expression of NF-κB. Naringin has been shown to increase osteoblast proliferation by increasing the expression of BMP-2, inhibit osteoclast activity by reducing the expression of RANKL. In animal experimental, naringin was useful for osteoporosis, and the mechanisms are in-depth studies. Research in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and orthopedics, naringin as a explicit material structure in the components of Drynaria, has been concerned about the experimental studies, it is not only prosperity the development of traditional Chinese medicine research, but also ready for clinical studies anti-inflammatory and bone effects of naringin in the future.

Background and purpose:MicroRNA-486-5p (miR-486-5p) has been demonstrated to play an important role in many kinds of tumor, however, there are few reports about the relationship between miRNA-486-5p in gastric carcinoma. This study was aimed to explore the effect of miR-486-5p on the proliferation, apoptosis and migration abilities of the human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901.Methods:Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis was performed to detect the expression of miR-486-5p in the SGC7901 and GES-1 cells, miR-486-5p over-expressing plasmid was constructed and transfected into the human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC7901 using LipofectamineTM2000. The expression of miR-486-5p of the transfected cells was measured by qRT-PCR, the proliferation level of SGC7901 cells was detected by MTT method, the apoptosis rate of the cells was measured by lfow cytometry and the in vitro migration abilities of SGC7901 cells by transwell test. Results:The miR-486-5p expression in SGC7901 cells was down-regulated compared with GES-1 cells. The expression of miR-486-5p in SGC7901 cells that was transfected miR-486-5p over-expressing plasmid was obviously up-regulated. The proliferation and migration abilities of SGC7901 cells were inhibited signiifcantly, and the apoptosis rate of the cells increased. Conclusion:miR-486-5p can effectively suppress the proliferation and in vitro migration abilities of SGC7901 cells, indicating that miR-486-5p might be used as a target for molecular therapy of gastric cancer.
