1.Adverse reactions of fludarabine in the treatment of chronic lymphoproliferative disorders
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(3):182-184
Fludarabine (Flu) is a synthetic purine analog, which has been widely used in the treatment of B-cell chronic lymphoproliferative disorders (B-CLPD) such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL),nonHodgkin lymphoma (NHL) as an anti-metabolic cytotoxic chemotherapeutic drug and achieved good effect.Main adverse reactions in clinical application of Flu are dose-dependent bone marrow suppression and secondary infection.Non-hematologic adverse reactions are so rare and mild that most patients can tolerate.
2.Effects of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on Collateral Circulation of Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;(1):1-4
Objective To observe the effects of Buyang Huanwu Decoction(BHD)on collateral circulation of patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)through transcranial Doppler sonography(TCD). Methods The randomized controlled trial methods were applied, and 80 ACI patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 40 cases in each group. Two cases from each group were dropped out, and the left 38 cases of each group were included into the analysis. The control group was treated with the standardized western medicine regimen, and the treatment group was given BHD orally on the basis of treatment for the control group. The treatment for the two groups covered 7 days. On treatment day 3 and 7, TCD was adopted to investigate the blood flow velocity of the responsible vessels and the improvement of collateral circulation compensation. On treatment day 7, the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) in the two groups were compared. Results (1) On treatment day 3, collateral circulation improvement occurred in 12 patients(accounting for 31.58%)from the treatment group , and on treatment day 7 , the improved cases increased to 16(accounting for 42.11%). In the control group , 3 cases(7 . 89%) were improved on treatment day 3 , and 4(10 . 53%) improved on treatment day 7. The treatment group had better effect on improving collateral circulation than the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.01). (2) In the treatment group, 9 cases had increased blood flow velocity(Vm) of the responsible vessels on treatment day 3, and 11 cases had the increase on treatment day 7. In the control group, Vm increase occurred in one case both on treatment day 3 and 7. The treatment group had better effect on increasing Vm than the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). (3) On treatment day 7, NIHSS scores were decreased in both groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01), and the decrease of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.01).(4) No adverse event was shown in the two g roups during the treatment. Conclusion BHD can constantly improve the blood flow velocity of the responsible vessel and promote collateral vessel building , which results into the recovery of the impaired neural function.
3.Relation of fear of success to self-esteem,self-handicapping, and defensive pessimism in college students
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(3):230-235
Objective:To explore the relation of fear of success to self-esteem,academic self-handicapping, and defensive pessimism in college students. Methods:Totally 291 college students were surveyed with the Self-Es-teem Scale (SES ),Academic Self-handicapping Questionnaire (ASHQ ),Defensive Pessimism Questionnaire (DPQ)and Fear of Success Questionnaire for Undergraduates (FOSQ).The structural equation modeling (SEM) and mediation analysis were used to test the hypotheses.Results:Self-esteem negatively predicted quality of life (β=-0.16),working pressure (β=-0.17)and interpersonal relationship (β=-0.14).In the 95% level of confi-dence,the lower range output of Bootstrapping in the path model of self-esteem through self-handicapping,defen-sive pessimism to a fear of success respectively was -0.29 and -0.14.The upper range output of those respec-tively was -0.14 and -0.01.Conclusion:Academic self-handicapping and defensive pessimism may play a medi-ating role in the relationship between self-esteem and fear of success.
4.Clinical application of indocyanine green clearance test
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2017;33(6):1183-1187
At present, the most commonly used methods for liver function evaluation in clinical practice is static detection represented by blood biochemical examinations, with a focus on the degree of liver injury and liver dysfunction;however, such methods have significant timitations on the reflection of liver reserve function.Indocyanine green (ICG) clearance test is commonly used for the testing of liver reserve function in clinical practice and it is a minimally invasive, simple, and quick procedure available for bedside real-time monitoring and can be repeated during a short period of time. The application value of ICG clearance test in the field of liver surgery has been widely recognized. In recent years, more and more studies have been focusing on the application of ICG clearance test in the fields of internal medicine, liver interventional therapy, critically ill patients, and drug safety assessment. This article reviews the current clinical application, related advances, and future perspectives of ICG clearance test.
5.Intradural metastasis of extramedullary space of medulloblastomas:MRI
Journal of Practical Radiology 1992;0(11):-
Objective:To evaluate MRI manifesattions of intradural metastases of medulloblastomas. Methods:The clinical data and MRI of 6 cases with intradural metastasis of medulloblastomas were reviewed retrospectively.Results:21 masses were found in 6 cases, mostly in lumbar segment. Most of them were oblong or fusiform shagped. The size averaged 1.8 cm?2.3 cm.They had the similar signal intensity with those in brain, but hemorrhage, cyst and calcification were less common. Conclusion:MRI plays an importment role in diagnosis of intradural metastases of medulloblastomas. 6.Advance of the origin recognition complex role in cell cycle
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
Studies on ORC in the cell cycle were limited, this paper is to explore origin recognition complex(ORC)in the cell cycle, and elucidate the relation between them.
7.Effect of Acupuncture on Postpartum Stress Urinary Incontinence
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(7):671-672
Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on postpartum stress urinary incontinence. Methods 100 natural birth mothersmet the selection conditions were divided into control group (n=50) and treatment group (n=50). The control group accepted pelvic floormuscle training and the treatment group accepted acupuncture and moxibustion in addition. They were assessed 4 weeks after treatment. Results84% in the treatment group improved and it was 56% in the control group ( χ2 =10.54, P<0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture may improvethe efficacy of pelvic floor muscle training on postpartum stress urinary incontinence.
9.Update on prevention of epidural adhesion after lumbar laminectomy.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2015;28(11):1064-1068
Postoperative epidural adhesion is one of the most common causes of failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS), which can lead to back and leg pain or neurological deficit. Prevention of epidural adhesion after laminectomy is critical for improving the outcomes of lumbar surgery. The main origins of epidural fibrosis are raw surface of erector muscles and rupture fibers of intervertebral disc. The main current preventive methods for epidural adhesion include the usage of implants, chemicals and low dose radiation. However, most of them are still in experiment period. There are still controversies on the clinic usage of autograft free fat, ADCON-L, and Mitomycin C (MMC). The optimal implants are characteristics of better biocompatibility, degradable absorption and capability of existing for a certain period in body. The optimal medicine should have good effect on anti-desmoplasia, less side effects and long half-life. Besides, the combination of biodegradable medical film and drug and the mixture of two or more medical films are also the research frontlines of epidural adhesion. Further researches are required to explore new materials and drugs with stable and most favorable effect in preventing epidural adhesion.
