As an indispensable part of minority traditional medicine, mineral medicine has used with less dosage and reliable efficacy for the last thousand years. Based on the unearthed relics and medical literatures of past dynasties, the history of Han nationality ap- years, which had been recorded in main literature. But there is less comprehensive report of its usage in the other 55-minority nationality. This article was based on the analysis of ethnic minority literature of thousands of years, and conducted a comprehensive collation and analysis of mineral medicine. It was mostly determined that there was 20 minority groups using mineral medicine, with a total of 163 species (limited our references), and the most used is the Tibetan, accounting for 141. The most serious problems of mineral medicine are that species should be further investigated and researched, and then become the legal commercial medicine, and the classification principles of mineral medicine should be established. Through the traditional processing and experimental studies, the problems of attenuation and detoxification should be solved.

Methods Gastric cancer cases treated by Professor WEI Pin-kang in TCM outpatient department of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital from January 2008 to December 2015 in WEI Pin-kang TCM Studio Outpatient Medical Cases (including electronic database and paper medical cases database). TCM Inheritance Support System V2.5 was used to build database. Frequency analysis, association rule analysis, complex system entropy clustering and other data mining methods were used to analyze frequency, medicine association rules and core medicine combination. Results Totally 305 clinical prescriptions including 185 kinds of Chinese materia medica were collected. The Chinese meteria medica with the high frequency were Pinellinae Rhizoma Praeparatum, Arisaematis Rhizoma Preparatum and Galli Gigerii Endothelium Corneum, etc. High frequency Chinese materia medica were with the properties of warm and cold, and with the flavors of bitter, spicy and sweet, to Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming, Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin, and Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin. The medicine combinations with high frequency were Pinellinae Rhizoma Praeparatum and Arisaematis Rhizoma Preparatum,Pinellinae Rhizoma Praeparatum and Galli Gigerii Endothelium Corneum, and Galli Gigerii Endothelium Corneum and Arisaematis Rhizoma Preparatum. The common medicine pairs were Aurantii Fructus and Aurantii Fructus Immaturum and Scorpio and Scolopendra. Analysis showed 36 association rules of the confidence > 0.99. 70 core medicine combinations and 11 new prescription were obtained. Conclusion Professor WEI Pin-kang treats gastric cancer based on phlegm theory. The dissolving phlegm and eliminating stagnation medicine, regulating qi-folwing for harmonizing stomach medicine and heat-clearing and detoxifying medicine are commonly used.

China Pharmacy 2007;0(25):-
OBJECTIVE: To explore the way to establish standard medication history in China. METHODS: To establish Chinese standard medication history by referring to other medication history pattern abroad, considering three factors - patients, physicians and pharmacists centered on the pharmaceutical care, and taking a case of diabetes mellitus patient as example to explain it clearly. RESULTS: The medication history was established by combining tables and descriptions, which consisted of four parts: First page, Record chart, Procedure and Summary. CONCLUSION: This medication history is concise, comprehensive, and legible, and it highlights the characteristics of pharmacists' job and meets the needs of clinical pharmacy practice.

AIM:To assess changes of tear film function in patients after pterygium excision combined with amniotic membrane transplantation.
METHODS:Totally 126 patients with pterygium excision with amniotic membrane transplantation from January 2011 to November 2013 were entered in the study. The tear breakup time ( BUT) , the Schirmer I test ( SⅠt) and tear ferning test ( TFT ) were elevated in the patients before and after pterygium excision combined with amniotic membrane transplantation. The examnation times were 1d before surgey, 1wk, 1, 2mo after surgery. Operation eyes were studied group, while opposite healthy eyes as control group.
RESULTS: Compared with the control group, BUT and TFT were significantly different in the eyes with pterygium (P<0. 05); However, no obvious difference was detected in the results of SⅠt (P>0. 05). The results of BUT and TFT at 1mo after surgery in study group were significantly better than 1wk (P<0. 05), while no significant difference compared with 2mo (P>0. 05); The tear film stability in the study group at 1wk after surgery was still inferior to the control group (P<0. 05) and there was no significant difference at 1, 2mo after surgery (P all>0. 05). SⅠt results did not differ between the different examination times(P>0. 05).
CONCLUSION:Tear film stability was broken in the eyes with pterygium. Pterygium excision combined with amniotic membrane transplantation can obviously restore the tear film function into normal state, and the tear film function could reach steady-state 1mo after surgery.

AIM: To determine the association between subfoveal choroidal thickness before therapy and therapeutic activity in diabetic macular edema.
METHODS: The current study was a retrospective study, which included 32 patients ( 32 eyes ) diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. All the patients were firstly treated with intravitreal injections of ranibizumab. Main outcome measures were included the subfoveal choroidal thickness, central macular thickness and best-corrected visual acuity ( BCVA) at preoperation and postoperative visit at 3mo.
RESULTS: After 3 monthly intravitreal injections of ranibizumab, the BCVA was significantly higher than that before therapy and accompanied with significantly reduced thickness of subfoveal choroid and central fovea of macula. Spearman analysis was revealed that a greater baseline subfoveal choroidal thickness was associated with a better BCVA (rs=0. 544, P=0. 036).
CONCLUSION:In the therapy of intravitreal injections of ranibizumab on diabetic macular edema, there seems to be a better BCVA in the patients with a greater baseline subfoveal choroidal thickness. Therefore, baseline subfoveal choroidal thickness may be a useful predictor for the therapy of diabetic macular edema.
