1.Validity and reliability of the Chinese version of Family Management Measure
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(14):19-22
Objective To assess the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of Family Man-agement Measure (FaMM). Methods FaMM was translated into Chinese and distributed to 330 caregivers whose children had chronic diseases to fill the questionnaire. Results Cronhach's alpha coefficient for the subscales ranged from 0.52 to 0.86, indicating acceptable internal consistency. The content validity index was 0.84. Construct validity was supported by significant correlation between FaMM and FAD and CBCL,Pearson correlation coefficient ranged from 0.11 to 0.38. The relationship among them accorded with the expected trends of Family Management Style Framework. The result of factor analysis indicated 9 factors explaining 60.08% variance. Conclusions The psychometric property of the Chinese version of FaMM was acceptable and it could be regarded as a reliable and valid instrument to measure the family response of Chinese families whose children had chronic diseases.
2.Photochemical tissue bonding in tissue repair
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2009;29(12):1407-1409
Suture was a traditional method for tissue repair. However, sutures used in the closure of surgical wounds can induce inflammation and lead to scarring that appears as crosshatch marks. Threads used for sutures may cause immune response and surgical infection. In this review, we introduce a novel sutureless technique for wound repair, called photochemical tissue bonding (PTB). Absorption of visible light by a photosensitizing dye initiates photochemical reactions leading to covalent protein-protein crosslinks that bridge the wound surfaces, thus producing an immediate seal between the wound surfaces. This technique has been applied in various tissues including skin, cornea, nerve, blood vessels, et al. PTB reduces inflammation resulting in less scarring in skin. PTB dramatically improves the incidences of vascular anastomotic leakage and stricture. In addition, PTB enhances the recovery of nerve function after nerve repair.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(15):-
memory/attention concentrating factor. Conclusions The intelligence structure of children with LD are imbalance. It is one of important measure to intervene LD early,so as to understand cognitive advantage and feebleness, find out cognitive objection, develop cognitive dominant item, put up education of success, bring along feeble item, and process pertinency training.
7.Advance in Cerebral Ischemic Model with Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion in Rats(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(11):939-940
The middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) in rats remained a focus cerebral ischemic model that is non-incisioned,reliable,as well as the ischemic and refusion time can be controlled, which is widely used since it was created. However, because it is needed complex operations, associatied with many factors,it is difficult to establish. Many scholars have modified the operation, shape of the occlusion line,as well as the variety, narcotic drugs and so on.

Objective To observe the effects of cryptotanshinone (CTS) on cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoforms in the rat liver microsomes. Method The rats were randomized into six groups according to the body weight, 3 rats in each group. CTS groups were treated with CTS at the doses of 20~540 mg/kg per day for 10 days, and the negative control group was treated with 10 mL/kg hydroxylpropyl-β-cyclodextrin solution. The positive group was injected with β-NF(80 mg/kg) intraperitoneally on the 7th day, and all the animals were sacrificed by decapitation on the 10th day after last dose. The liver was got out for the preparation of liver microsomes. The activities of six kinds of CYP isoforms were detected by cocktail in-vitro incubation method. Besides, the expression level of CYP isoforms mRNA and protein in rat liver was analyzed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western-blotting assay, respectively. Results CTS significantly increased the ac-tivity of CYP1A2 in a dose-dependent manner. In CTS groups at the dosages of 20~540 mg/kg, the activity of CYP1A2 was 60 %~430 % higher, CYP1A2 protein expression level was 130 %~320 % higher, and CYP1A2 mRNA expression level was 10 %~150 % higher than that of the negative control group. CTS had no effect on other kinds of CYP isoforms. Conclu-sion CTS can induce hepatic microsome CYP1A2 expression significantly, which indicates potential drug-drug interaction might occurred when CTS is co-administrated with those drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.

Objective To explore the effects of rosiglitazone on the expression of TNF-? in visceral adipose tissue of insulin-resistant rats induced by high-glucose diet. Methods Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were fed with high-glucose diet for 6 months to reproduce the non-obesity insulin-resistant rat model (abbreviated as IR rats). The model rats were then randomized into insulin resistan (IR) group and rosiglitazone (ROS) group (10 each). Ten rats fed with normal diet were enrolled as controls (CN group). Rats in ROS group were administered with 10?mol/(kg?d) of rosiglitazone for 6 weeks from the 7th week of experiment, and those in CN and IR groups were administered with same amount of distilled water. At the 6th and 12th week, the systolic pressure, body weight, and biochemical parameters (fasting and 2-hour post-glucose load plasma glucose, insulin, free fatty acid, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol) were measured, and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) was calculated. At the end of the 12th week, the visceral adipose tissue was collected to calculate the ratio of visceral fat to body weight (VF/BW),and to determine the protein and mRNA expressions of tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) with inmmunohistochemical assay and RT-PCR. Results As compared with CN group, the systolic pressure,HOMA-IR,plasma insulin, triglyceride and free fatty acid increased, whereas high density lipoprotein cholesterol decreased (P0.05). Inmmunohistochemical examination showed positive expression of TNF-? in intercellular substance, but not in visceral adipocytes. The expressions of TNF-? protein and mRNA in visceral adipose tissue were dramatically higher in IR group than in CN and ROS groups (P0.05). Conclusion Rosiglitazone may significantly abate insulin resistance, reduce the abnormality of plasma lipid and blood pressure, and inhibit the over expression of TNF-? in visceral adipose tissue in the non-obesity insulin-resistant rats induced by high-glucose diet.
