2.The Effect of Shift Rotation Directions on Work Mistakes and Circadian Rhythms of Urinary Na, K, Cl.
Journal of Korean Academy of Adult Nursing 1999;11(1):158-168
To develop optimal shift systems for an improvement of work schedule satisfaction, health and work productivity, the effects of the direction of the rotational work shifting on the circadian rhythm and adaptation of physiological components and work mistakes were investigated in nursing students. Two groups of seven volunteers participated as experimental subjects, apd seven to twenty nursing students participated as a control group. The directions of rotation work shift were as follows CW(clockwise)-shift system rotation in the direction of day shift(3 days), evening shift(3 days), off duty(l day) and night shift(5 days), and CCW (counterclockwise) -shift system rotation in the reverse direction. Urinary Na, K, and Cl levels were measured with ion-selective electrodes. The levels of performance were measured by a questionnaire to determine the number of mistakes in 12 specific items during duty. The disturbance of Na the circadian rhythm was seen on day and night shifts, especially in the CCW-rotation shift system, and the magnitude of the daily variation was greatest in the CCW-rotation system. The daily rhythms of K and Cl shifted to the right on the evening shift, and the rhythms were reversed on the night shift, which suggests that they adapted to the altered shift work. However, the levels of Cl were higher in day and night shift workers, especially in CCW-shift system. In the ease of urine salts, it seems that the students in CW-shift system more easily adapted to the altered shift. The incidence of mistakes during work were more frequent on the CCW shift than in the CW shift. These data indicate that the direction of rotation effects the worker's health and work performance. These results indicate that the CCW rotation of shift work makes it more difficult for the workers to adapt to the shift on a physiological level, and has many more negative effects on the shift workers' health when compared with the CW rotation. Thus, a clockwise rotating shift system seems to be more desirable for the optimal health and performance of nurses.

4.Comparison of curative effect of different media in pediatric tuina for infantile muscular torticollis
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2017;15(6):451-456
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of different media in pediatric tuina treatment for children with muscular torticollis. Methods: A total of 80 children with muscular torticollis were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 40 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional pediatric tuina therapy. The observation group was treated with Bai Mai ointment as the massage medium, while the common lubrication oil was used as medium in the control group. Both groups were treated five times a week, 20 min for each time, 20 times constituted a course of treatment. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores were evaluated before and after treatment, and the curative effect was observed after 3 courses and 6 courses of treatment respectively. Results: The TCM syndrome scores improved in both groups after treatment, and the intra-group differences were statistically significant (both P<0.01). The score of the observation group was statistically different from that in the control group (P<0.05). In the observation group, the total effective rates after 3 courses and 6 courses of treatment were 95.0%and 100.0%, respectively, versus 87.5% and 95.0% in the control group. The total effective rates of the two groups were statistically different (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Bai Mai ointment has a better curative effect than the common lubricating oil as a massage medium in the treatment of children with muscular torticollis.
5.Analysis on drug resistance in 78 strains of meticillinˉresistant Staphylococcus aureus
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(24):3388-3389
Objective To analyze the drug resistance characteristics of 78 strains of meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)for guiding rational use of antibiotics in clinic. Methods 78 strains of MRSA were collected in our hospital from Septem-ber 2013 to March 2014;their antimicrobial susceptibility test and the drug resistant gene were detected by the MIC method and PCR respectively. Results The resistance of MRSA to erythromycin was more than 90%,which to tetracycline and clindamycin was close to 90%,which to quinolones was more than 70%,which to aminoglycosides was more than 50%,which to trimethoprim and sulphame-thoxazole,nitrofurantoin and rifampicin was lower;no strains were resistant to tigecycline,quinupristin/dalfopristin, vancomycin,linezolid;77 strains of MRSA were positive for mecA gene. Conclusion The drug resistance rate of isolated MRSA in our hospital is roughly the same with that reported, but which still has difference among different departments;clinic should select drugs according to the drug susceptibility test results for preventing aggravation of MRSA drug resistance.

7.Therapeutic Observation of Acupuncture in Treating Functional Dyspepsia
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2014;(8):722-723
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treating functional dyspepsia (FD).Method Eighty FD patients were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 40 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by needling the specific points of the Stomach Meridian, while the control group was by Itopride hydrochloride tablets. The symptoms score and therapeutic efficacy were evaluated in the two groups.Result There was no significant difference in comparing the symptom score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05); the symptoms score dropped significantly in both groups after intervention (P<0.01); the difference in comparing the symptoms score between the two groups was statistically significant after intervention (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 97.5% in the treatment group versus 67.5% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), indicating that the total effective rate of acupuncture is higher than that of medication in treating FD.Conclusion Acupuncture at the specific points of the Stomach Meridian can obviously reduce FD symptom score, improve symptoms and enhance the total effective rate.
8.Methylation and congenital heart disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;42(1):38-40
The pathogenesis of congenital heart disease can not be explained by a simple genetic mechanism.Currently,it is recognized by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors. The environmental factors change epigenetic conditions in body.Methylation is the earliest research aspect in epigenetics. However, methylation in congenital heart disease is not being given enough attention until recent years. Therefore, this review describes the relationship between methylation and congenital heart disease,in order to make us understand the pathogenesis of congenital heart disease in-depthly.
9.A review on the gene of CRLF2 in childhood B-cell precursor acute lymphocytic leukemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;42(2):163-166
Current risk classification in childhood B-cell precursor acute lymphocytic leukemia has been used to modulate the intensity of treatment and prognosis assessment. However there are a significant proportion of relapses and deaths occur among childhood with good risk clinical characteristics and/or an excellent early response to therapy. So research about the aberrant expression of gene associated with relapse will improve cure rate.Aberrant expression of CRLF2 gene can be found in childhood B-cell precursor acute lymphocytic leukemia and associated with JAK aberrantion,BCR-ABL1-like signature,IKZF deletion.Over-expression of CRLF2 gene is associated with high risk relapse and poor outcome in childhood B-cell precursor acute lymphocytic leukemia, but its prognostic value is still controversial. This article mainly reviews the progress of CRLF2 gene in childhood B-cell precursor acute lymphocytic leukemia.
