1.Fecal Microbiota Transplantation and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2016;21(8):491-493
Inflammatory bowel disease( IBD),comprising Crohn’s disease( CD)and ulcerative colitis( UC),is a chronic intestinal inflammatory disease and its etiology has not yet been clarified. Studies showed that intestinal microbiota disorder is closely associated with the development and progression of IBD. Currently, fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)is considered as a special organ transplantation and used in treatment of IBD,Clostridium difficile infection, irritable bowel syndrome, metabolic syndrome, etc. This article reviewed the relationship between FMT and IBD.
2.Surgical management of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2014;13(10):763-767
Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) can be divided into functional and non-functional.Insulinomas,gastrinomas,glucagonomas and VIPomas are the common types of pNENs.Radical resection is the only way for curing pNENs or for a long-time survival of patients. The basic surgical procedures for pNENs are consist of local resection (tumor enucleation) or anatomical resection [pancreatoduodenectomy (standard or pylorus-preserving pancreatoduodenectomy),distal pancreatectomy (combined with splenectomy or spleen-preserving pancreatectomy) and middle segmental pancreatectomy].Liver is the most common site for metastases.Surgical resection is the method of choice for liver metastases.Radiofrequency ablation, transcatheter arterial chemoembolization and liver transplantation could be the adjunctive therapies.
3.Effect of BNIP3-induced autophagy in gastric carcinoma
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2014;(12):1730-1733
Aim To study the effect of BNIP3 on hy-poxia-induced autophagic cell death in gastric carcino-ma.Methods The protein levels of BNIP3 and LC3-Ⅱ of 1 8 cases of gastric carcinoma were studied with immunocytochemistry and Western blot analysis be-tween normal and tumor tissues. The expression of LC3-Ⅱ in SGC-7901 cells was assessed while knock-down of BNIP3 by siRNA in CoCl2-induced hypoxia, and the effect of 3-MA was also studied.Cell viability in hypoxia treatment for 48 h was estimated with cell counting kit-8 (CCK8).Results Compared with nor-mal tissues, the protein levels of BNIP3 and LC3-Ⅱwere increased in tumor tissues.BNIP3 siRNA could decrease the expression of LC3-Ⅱ and enhance the cell viability, while inhibition of autophagy could also in-crease the cell viability in SGC-7901 cells.Conclu-sions BNIP3 may play a role in hypoxia-induced cell death in gastric carcinoma, and the possible mecha-nism may be related to the regulation of autophagy.
4.Research progress of the diagnosis and treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2017;25(4):365-370
Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is defined as any degree of glucose intolerance with the onset or first recognition during pregnancy, excluding diagnosed diabetes or prediabetes before pregnancy. It is one of the most common medical complications of pregnancy. There is almost no agreed diagnostic criteria for GDM until the hyperglycemia and adverse pregnancy outcome (HAPO) published in 2008.IADPSG published new diagnostic criteria for GDM,which is gradually acknowledged by the whole world.IADPSG diagnostic criteria has been adopted in China since 2011.Human insulin is the first-line therapy for GDM.Recently, insulin analogues such as insulin aspart and determir have been approved, and the safety and efficacy of oral antidiabetic drug-metformin are getting more and more attention and certification. Here,we reviewed the research progress of the diagnosis and treatment of GDM.

Objective To explore the levels and the significance of IL-11 and sgp130 in the treatment of newly-diagnosed acute leukemia(AL)during the treatment of the induced remission, and to evaluate the curate effect of rhIL-11 on AL.Methods The levels of IL-11 and sgp130 in patients with AL were determined by ELISA respectively before treatment and after completing remission(CR).1.5 mg of rhIL-11 was injected subcutaneously, once a day, continuously for 14 days as one course,of treatment time 1~2 courses as total. Results Plasm IL-11 level in AL patients was significantly lower than normal(P

Objective To investigate effect of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) to in vitro release characteristics of cefaclor sustained-release tablets. Methods Collected 10 batches of HPMC from different manufacturers.Determined the viscosity, molecular weight and the distribution of molecular weight of HPMC.HPMC from different manufacturers was used as blocking agent for the preparation of cefaclor sustained-release tablets according to the same prescription. Results The molecular weight was positively related to the viscosity of HPMC.The more molecular weight was, the slower the drugs release rate was,the better controlled released. Conclusion HPMC from different manufacturers show different quality stability and effect in vitro release of cefacor sustained-release tablets.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(2):230-234
Objective:To study the effects of a potassium channel blocker 4-Amino pyridine(4-AP)on the proliferation of human tongue squamous cell carcinoma Tca8113 cells.Methods:CCK-8 assay was used to detect the proliferation of Tca8113 cells cultured with 4-AP at the concentration of 1,5,10,20,50 and 100 mmol/L for 12,24 and 48 h respectively, the cell proliferation inhibition rate was calculated, the cell cycle distribution was examined by flow cytometry.Data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 software. Results:With the increase of 4-AP concentration and culture time, cells showed some morphologic changes.4-AP at 5 -100 mmol/L dose and time dependently inhibited the proliferation, with 24 h exposure dose dependenty decreased S-phase population and increased G0 /G1 phase population of Tca8113 cells.Conclusion:4-AP may inhibit Tca8113 cell proliferation by regulation of the cell cycle distribution.

Abstract Objective:To explore homology in mage-A family and find some common epitopes recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL) to oppose tumor escape. Methods:The amino acid sequence, differents open reading frame(ORF) and the known CTL epitope of themember of MAGE-A family, were analyzed using DNAstar software, and phylogenetic tree is also constructed. Results: MAGE-A family shareidentity nucleotide 57.6% - 98.0%,the phylogenetic tree showed that they are derived from a common ancestor at different time, as well asfound some CTL epitopes high similarity. Conclusion: MAGE-A family come from common an ancestor, but they bave many differences in thepattern of expression in tumor. This study can help to find the best CTL epitope vaccine to cure tumor.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(06):-
ObjectiveTo find out about changes in expenses and the orientation of the insured to medical services and analyze the causes of expense growth and the result of containment so as to offer suggestions for policy formulation. MethodsA statistical analysis was made of the actual data on the medical insurance of retired and working personnel in Nantong City from 2000 through 2002 using SPSS and Excel. Results①The mode of payment via "plate" management and total quantity and mean value control resulted in fairly good expense containment, especially outpatient expense containment while the growth of hospitalization expenses was on the rise. ②Third-tier hospitals were most popular to people seeking hospitalized services while for outpatient services people were increasingly turning to clinics and designated drugstores where the average expenses per visit were low. Conclusion①The managing party of medical insurance should step up research on expense containment strategies, steer the patients towards rational splitflow, try to contain expenses in a scientific way, and improve the efficiency of fund utilization. ②Medical institutions confronted with opportunities and crises should enhance quality construction and deliver standard and reliable services. ③It is imperative to strengthen regional health planning and raise the efficiency of health resources utilization.
