1.Comparative study of magnetic resonance elastography and T2WI in assessing stiffness of tissue
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2013;47(10):932-935
Objective To preliminarily compare accuracy of magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) and T2WI in assessing stiffness of tissue. Methods Agar gel phantoms of 23 different concentrations ranging from 0.8%-3.0% were produced. All the phantoms were examined with MRE and T2 map scanning respectively. After the raw images were processed by using local wavelength estimation (LEF),shear modulus of scan slice was measured, and T2 value of the same slice was measured with GE ADW4.3 workstation.Pearson correlation analysis was used to test the correlation between shear modulus and agar concentration,as well as T2 value and concentration.Rank sum test was used to compare the correlation coefficients of them. Results All the shear modulus and T2 values of the phantoms were successfully obtained, which were (49.1 ± 23.5) kPa and (57.8 ± 21.8) ms respectively.Shear modulus was positively correlated with concentration of agar gel(r1 =0.985,r1 2 =0.970,P < 0.01),while T2 value was negatively correlated with concentration of agar gel (r2 =-0.901,r22 =0.812,P < 0.01).The differences of these two correlation coefficients were statistically significant (Z =5.459,P < 0.01).Conclusion MRE is more accurate to reflect stiffness of tissues relative to T2WI,and shows great clinical prospect.
2.Molecular imaging probes for integrin ?_V?_3
China Oncology 1998;0(04):-
Integrin ?V?3, one of the major members of the integrin family, plays a pivotal role in tumor angiogenesis because it mediates the cell-extracellular matrix and cell to cell adhesion as well as controls cells proliferation, differentiation, cellular modality and motility.Due to restricted high-expressions in tumors, integrin ?V?3, is considered a suitable targeting receptor for tumor diagnosis. In the past decade, several molecular imaging tracers for integrin ?V?3, have been used to noninvasively visualize its expression in tumor tissues and angiogenic blood vessels through the usage of nuclear imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and optical imaging.Noninvasive detection of integrin ?V?3, expression can potentially be used for tumor diagnosis and prognosis. The current imaging probes used to target integrin ?V?3, through usage of different technologies are briefly recapitulated in this review.

Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(01):-
Surface topography of the Anisakis type I 3rd stage larva (L3), the main pathogen of anisakiasis, was observed by scanning electron microscope under magnifications of 400 to 14000X. The head bears a trapezoid undivided lip mass, with 2 mammillary elevations at the middle of the two lateral sides and a cuticular boring tooth on its ventral side. The mouth leading into the esophagus is situated in the centre of the centrally located cuticular elevation of the lip mass. The excretory pore opens ventrally just behind the boring tooth. The surface of the lip mass shows fine striations, but looks smooth elsewhere. Neither flat papillae nor minute "teeth" or "hairs" described hither to have been observed. The cuticle of the body surface shows shallow and irregular annular grooves and folds and numerous fine longitudinal micro-furrows and cristae. These surface markings appear uniformly from head to tail and to the utmost end of the pagoda like mucrones at the tip of the tail. The ventrally located crescent anus is situated about 90?m from the base of the mucron.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the status of nosocomia infection and provide scientific reference for nosocomial infection control.METHODS Retrospective analysis based on the nosocomial infection materials of January,April,July,October, from 2006 to 2007 were conducted.RESULTS Both the infection incidence and the infection ratio were 4.66% and 5.97%,The main infection sites were lower respiratory tract, urinary tract and gastrointestinal tract. The risk factors were central venous catheters, urine catheters and mechanical ventilation. The nosocomial infection cases were compared with non-nosocomial infection control cases in age, number of days in hospital, death rate and medical treatment fee. There were significant difference between them.CONCLUSIONS It is an efficiency step in preventing infection from central venous catheters, urine cathters and mechanical ventilation, protecting sensitized hosts and developing the prospective analysis of nosocomial infection monitoring.
5.THE EFFECT OF THE EXPERIMENTAL LEAD EXPOSURE ON EXPRESSION OF NERVE GROWTH FACTOR GENE IN HIPPOCAMPUS OF RAT
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
Objective To study the effects of lead exposure on expression of nerve growth factor(NGF)gene in the rat hippocampus, and explore the molecular toxicological mechanism of the learning and damage induced by lead exposure. Methods Using the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and in situ hybridization,NGF mRNA levels in the hippocampus of normal and lead exposure rats were investigated. Results NGF mRNA presented in the normal hippocampus of rats.NGF mRNA levels in the hippocampus were significantly decreased by lead exposure. There was a negative correlativity between the expression of nerve growth factor mRNA in the hippocampus and the time of lead exposure. Conclusion Lead can downregulate the expression of nerve growth factor gene in the rat hippocampus.
