In this paper,a portable chemical oxygen generator was discribed. It mainly consists of oxygen-generating bag and oxygen-generating pow- der.The oxygen-generating bag is made of PVC plastic film,and the oxygen-generating powder is sodium carbonate peroxide.This oxygen ge- nerator can be used to produce oxygen gas for human respiration.and is particularly applicable to first aid for emergency patients,home treatm- ent for respiratory patients and oxygen supply in field hospitals or in clinics in rural and remote areas.

Objective To study the operating parameters of the field seawater desalination reverse osmosis device by RO process and analyze quality of the product water.Methods In pressure of 4.90～6.37 MPa,the influence of operating pressure on salt rejection and water flux is researched to determine the best parameter.Except some conventional item test,the water quality analysis also includes BOD,COD,TOC,fluorescence spectra,ultraviolet spectra and chromatography of ions analysis.Results Operating pressure of 5.88 ～6.37 MPa,the water flux reaches 18 ～22 L/h and the ratio of desalinization exceeds 97.4%.The device has an organic contaminant elimination ratio higher than 95% and ion desalination ratio also more than 96%.The fundamental index is consistent with drinking water sanitary standard.Conclusion The field seawater desalination reverse osmosis device by RO process can effectively wipe off bacteria and contaminant of water and also can reduce salt salinity in untreated water to produce pure water for drinking.

Objective In order to eliminate the influences caused by temperature and electrode-polarization, a new circuit of measuring electrical conductivity of water is designed by AT89S52 single-chip. Methods The system adopts the bi-directional pulsed voltage as its exciting source and the DS18B20 sensor as temperature compensation circuit component. Results Three functions which include auto-control, signal-collecting and display are realized by using C51 high-level language to write the modularization program. The precision of system is improved by an auto-temperature compensation way to avoid the blindness of temperature coefficient. Conclusion The system has such advantages as high accuracy and simple operation. Through further fulfilling, it can accord with user applying.

Objective To apply the EDI technology to the field pharmaceutical water preparation, thus improve the ability to prepare pharmaceutical water. Methods The EDI pharmaceutical water production technics was studied, and different kinds of technics were analyzed. The resistance value and TOC content of product water by EDI system were checked. The compact field purified water apparatus was developed, for which self-developed EDI was core technology. Results EDI system had advanced performance, for which the resistance value was high level, and the content of TOC was low. The produced water accorded with the criterion of purified water of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005. Conclusion EDI technology adapts to field pharmaceutical water production, and improves the quality of produced water and the adaptability of the system.

Objective To design a real-time oxygen generation and supply device for ambulances and to carry out finite element simulated analysis and performance evaluation .Methods Based on the working principles of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and oxygen pneumatic compression technology ,the structural components and technological processes of an oxygen generation and compression unit as well as an oxygen filling and supply unit were built .The integrated structure of the device was designed by Solidworks .The static structure of the oxygen generation and compression unit was analyzed by ANSYS.Modal analysis of the circuit board was also conducted .The performance of the prototype was evaluated .Results Wtih a stable structure and reliable circuitry , the device could produce and fill oxygen automatically at the flow of 5.0 L/min, concentration of 94.0%, and pressure of 13.0 MPa.Conclusion This device can produce , fill and supply oxygen automatically,and the goal of design is achieved .
