Aim To explore the effect of the classical famous prescription Dahuang Zhechong pill(DHZCP)on relieving liver cirrhosis by regulating the stress fiber remodeling mediated by mechanistic signaling pathway and to explore the underlying mechanism. Methods Mice were randomly divided into the control group, model group,DHZCP low-dose group,DHZCP high-dose group, and Colchicine-positive control group. The liver cirrhosis mouse model was constructed by intrap-eritoneal injection of olive oil-solubilized CCl4.HE staining and serologic markers were used to reflect liver injury.Masson staining was used to evaluate collagen deposition in liver tissue.ELISA was applied to detect vasoactive molecules and cancer indicators.Atomic force microscopy was employed to detect liver tissue stiffness.Color Doppler diagnostic instrument was used to assess portal blood flow velocity.Western blot was utilized to detect ROCK2 expression and phosphoryla-tion of YAP,Cofilin, and MLC.Results The liver tis-sues in the model group had obvious inflammatory cell infiltration and collagen deposition, accompanied by significant elevation of serum transaminases and fibrosis indexes.Similarly, vasoactive molecules and cancer in-dicators were elevated, and the mechanoregulatory pro-tein ROCK2 expression and phosphorylation of Cofilin and MLC were elevated, with YAP being strongly de-phosphorylated.Both low and high doses of DHZCP re-versed the pathological changes, serological indices, and inhibited the activation of the stress fiber(SF)re-modeling mechanistic signaling pathway. Conclusion DHZCP effectively ameliorates liver tissue lesions in mice with liver cirrhosis, and its mechanism may be re-lated to the inhibition of SF remodeling mechanistic signaling pathway.

To investigate the clinical symptoms and endoscopic features of rectal benign lymphoid polyps, a retrospective analysis was conducted on 15 consecutive cases (16 lesions) who underwent endoscopic resection at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University between April 2015 and June 2023, with postoperative pathological confirmation of rectal benign lymphoid polyps. The results showed that among the 15 patients, 6 were male and 9 were female, with a mean age of 52.6 years. Colonoscopy was performed in 8 patients due to clinical symptoms, among whom 7 presented with abdominal pain. All 16 lesions were submucosal, including 14 solitary and 1 multiple. The lesions were located in the lower rectum ( n=10) and mid-rectum ( n=6), with a mean long diameter of 0.5 cm. Fourteen lesions exhibited regular shape as flat circles or hemispheres. The surface mucosa appeared normal or gray-white in 11 lesions, and varying degrees of capillary dilation were observed in 8 lesions, among which 2 exhibited prominent capillaries resembling a "wheel-shaped" pattern. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) was performed in 10 lesions prior to endoscopic resection: 4 originated from the third layer, 3 from the second layer, and 3 from both the second and third layers. Five lesions appeared as homogeneous hypoechoic masses, 3 were hyperechoic, and 2 showed mixed echogenicity. Therefore, the clinical symptoms of rectal benign lymphoid polyps are non-specific. Endoscopically, the presence of "wheel-shaped" pattern of dilated capillaries may serve as a diagnostic clue. When EUS demonstrates hyperechoic or mixed echogenicity, it could aid in the differential diagnosis from rectal neuroendocrine neoplasms.

Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infections in hospitalized children under five years of age with acute respiratory infections in Qingdao, China, from 2023 to 2025.Methods:This cross-sectional study enrolled children under five years hospitalized with acute respiratory infections between May 1, 2023, and June 30, 2025. Nucleic acid testing was performed for six respiratory pathogens. Participants were stratified into seven age groups: 0 to 28 days, 29 days to <6 months, 6 to <12 months, 1 to <2 years, 2 to <3 years, 3 to <4 years, and 4 to <5 years. Intergroup differences were analyzed using Chi-square tests, with Bonferroni correction (adjusted α=0.016 7) for peak rate comparisons across three epidemic seasons. Results:Among 16 613 children, RSV was detected in 3 280 cases (19.74%), representing the highest pathogen detection rate. Infants under one year accounted for 56.37% (1 849/3 280) of RSV-positive cases, with significantly higher positivity rates in the 0-28 days [25.22% (286/1 134)], 29 days to <6 months [26.66% (1 072/4 021)], and 6 to <12 months [24.92% (491/1 970)] groups compared to other age groups ( χ2=314.20, P<0.001). Co-infections occurred in 13.66% (448/3 280) of RSV-positive cases, primarily with rhinovirus (6.13%, 201/ 3 280), followed by adenovirus and Mycoplasma pneumoniae (3.35% each, 110/3 280). Epidemiological surveillance revealed an off-season outbreak from May to July 2023 (duration ≥14 weeks, peak positivity rate 71.15%), while both 2024 (20 weeks, peak 52.55%) and 2025 (24 weeks, peak 46.49%) exhibited typical winter-spring seasonal patterns. The 2023 peak rate significantly exceeded those of subsequent years (all pairwise P<0.016 7). Conclusion:RSV is the predominant pathogen among hospitalized children under five years with acute respiratory infections in Qingdao, with infants under one year representing the highest-risk population. The epidemiological pattern demonstrates a transition from post-pandemic off-season outbreaks to prolonged winter-spring epidemics, highlighting the need for continued surveillance and targeted prevention strategies.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xiaoxuming Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine therapy in the treatment of patients with ischemic stroke in the recovery period. Methods:A randomized controlled clinical study was conducted. A total of the 118 patients with wind phlegm obstructing collaterlas syndrome during the recovery period of ischemic stroke in our hospital from September 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the observation subjects. They were divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 59 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine therapy, while the TCM group was treated with modified Xiaoxuming Decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 months and followed up for 1 month. TCM syndrome scoring was performed before and after treatment, Barthel Index was used to evaluate daily living ability, and carotid artery ultrasound detector was used to evaluate the stability of carotid vascular plaques. Inter group comparisons were performed using t test, χ2 test, or repeated measures analysis of variance (RM-ANOVA). Results:RM-ANOVA showed that the time effect and inter group effect of TCM syndrome integration in the TCM group were significantly different from those in the control group ( Ftime=55.56, Ptime<0.001); Fbetween=18.94, Pbetween<0.001); there was no statistical significance in the interaction effect compared to the control group ( Finteraction=0.24, Pinteraction=0.866); the time effect, inter group effect, and interaction effect of Barthel Index in the TCM group were significantly different from those in the control group ( Ftime=44.57, Ptime<0.001); Fbetween=18.94, Pbetween<0.001; Finteraction=7.45, Pinteraction<0.001). The number of patients with unstable plaques in the TCM group after 3 months of treatment was lower than that in the control group ( χ2=4.52, P=0.033). Conclusion:The combination of modified Xiaoxuming Decoction and conventional Western medicine therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and daily living ability of patients in the recovery period of ischemic stroke, improve the stability of cervical vascular plaques, and the clinical efficacy becomes more significant over time.
