Objective To investigate the influence of family support on the psychology and life quality of patients with diabetic retinopathy. Methods To survey the family support status, psychological status and quality of life by the questionnaire among 86 cases of diabetic retinopathy (DR) patients and to do the correlation analysis. Results Most of the dimension scores and total score of CLVQOL of the group of low score of family support (33 cases) were significantly lower than the group of high score of family support (53 cases). The score of somatization, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, paranoia, psychosis and the SCL-90 total score of family support group with low scores was significantly higher than the family support group with high scores. Conclusions The family support can help maintain and improve the quality of life and the status of mental health of patients. Health care workers should pay more attentions to the guidance and education of the DR family members of patients to enhance the awareness of timely improved family support, to ensure the provision of high quality family support and promote the quality of life of patients.

OBJECTIVE:To study the correlation between antibacterials amount and drug resistance of Echerichia coli, and to provide reference for clinical use of antibacterials. METHODS:Retrospective review was used to calculate DDDs of antibacterials and resistance rate of Escherichia coli to 11 kinds of antibacterials each quarter. The correlation analysis was carried out using the SPSS 13.0 statistical software. RESULTS:The resistance rates of E. coli to piperacillin/tazobactam,cefoperazone/sulbactam and le-vofloxacin were with upward trends, and the others showed downward trends. The resistance rates of E. coli to meropenem and imi-penem/cilastatin appeared in 2014,increasing from 0 to 8.8% and 9.4%,respectively. DDDs of them were significantly correlated to drug resistance of E. coli, showing positive correlation(r=0.915,0.793,P<0.01). DDDs of piperacillin/tazobactam was signif-icantly correlated to resistance rate of E. coli(r=0.807,P<0.01),while that of ceftazidime was negatively correlated to resistance rate of E. coli(r=-0.672,P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in resistance rate of E. coli to other 7 kinds of antibacte-rials. CONCLUSIONS:There are some correlations between the DDDs and resistance rates. We should strengthen the monitoring of bacterial resistance and the management of rational application of antibacterials.

OBJECTIVEThis study aimed at finding sensitive indicators in diagnosing facial growth pattern by studying the relationship between the indicators which can reflect facial growth pattern according to the previous studies and posterior-anterior ratio.
METHODSThe cephalometric radiographs of 61 teenage children were measured, the posterior-anterior ratio and the other 12 indicators including Y-axis angle, facial axis angle, cranial basal angle, and the four angles (The sagittal horizontal planes were analyzed using statistic methods.
RESULTSThe MP-SN angle was significantly coincided with the posterior-anterior ratio and Pearson coefficient is -0.922, and little correlation was found between the angles of four sagital horizontal planes and the posterior-anterior ratio. The positive correlation was found between the length of mandibular ramus and posterior-anterior ratio.
CONCLUSIONThe sensitive indicators for confirming facial growth pattern are the posterior-anterior ratio and the MP-SN angle.

Objective To explore sleep quality and related psychological factors among young army cadres to provide theoretical basis for health interventions. Method A total of 1 100 young army cadres aged 18 to 34 were assessed with Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale by cluster random sampling. Based on CES-C scores, cadres were divided into two groups named depression group and non-depression group;850 sergeants were served as the control group. T test, chi-square test and multiple regressions were used in data analysis. Result Sleep problems were found in 13.5% of the cadres and 12.1% sergeants. General status of sleep quality of cadres was worse than sergeants' and norm's. Exercise less, physical disease and psychological problems were the risk factors. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that depression factors of SCL-90 had the most significantly predictive effect on sleep quality (r=0.552, Beta=0.387), followed by somatization (r=0.552, Beta=0.223), two factors could explain 32.7% of PSQI scores variation. Correlation analysis showed that depression is closely related to subjective sleep quality, sleep duration, sleep disorder and daytime dysfunction (all r>0.3). Cadres' depression (11.11 ± 6.62) was significantly lower than norm's (12.30 ± 10.39) and higher than sergeants'(8.11 ± 6.56). PSQI scores of depression group (6.05 ± 3.13) were significantly higher than non-depression group's (3.56 ± 2.69) and norm's (3.23 ± 3.12). Conclusion Depression is a major correlation factor of the sleep quality. Regular exercise, improvement of the physical and psychological health quality, and reducing depression are effective ways to improve sleep quality.
