Objective:
To explore the fear of evaluation in college student with social anxiety, in order to reveal the existence of implicit fear of evaluation and its relationships with explicit fear of evaluation.
Methods:
A total of 490 college students, selected from Fuzhou University by using convenience cluster sampling method, were surveyed with Interaction Anxiousness Scale (IAS). Finally, 65 valid subjects have completed the Implicit Association Test.
Results:
Social anxiety students explicit fear of evaluation was significantly higher than those of non social anxiety college students, including positive and negative ( t =7.03, 5.66 , P <0.01). There were significant differences between self positive evaluation of college students social anxiety (1 019.26±124.44 ms) and self neutral evaluation (909.78±175.20 ms)( t =5.67, P <0.05). In two groups of college students, there were significant differences between self negative evaluation[(1 142.54±157.06, 1 120.88± 216.33 )ms] and self neutral evaluation[(921.53±161.28, 783.72±140.74)ms]( t =9.17, 12.33, P <0.01). Implicit fear of evaluation were found to exist among students with social anxiety and without social anxiety. There was a low correlation between explicit and implicit fear of evaluation between social anxiety students and non social anxiety students( P >0.05); There was no significant gender difference between implicit and explicit fear of evaluation( P > 0.05 ).
Conclusion
Social anxiety college students have explicit and implicit fear of evaluation, with separate and independent effects.

Objective:To investigate the role of perceived social support and self-esteem between the passive social network site use and depression among college students. Methods:Totally 1 393 college students were investigated by social website use scale, perceived social support scale, self-esteem scale and center for epidemiologic studies depression scale. SPSS 20.0 and Amos 21.0 softwares were used for descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, mediating effect test and structural equation model construction. Results:The total scores of passive social network site use, perceived social support, self-esteem and depression were (13.96±3.47), (61.04±12.03), (27.28±4.35) and (31.18±8.74) respectively. The scores of passive social network site use group in perceived social support (60.03±12.25), self-esteem (27.03±4.34) and depression (31.53±9.06) were statistically different with those in the active social network site use group (perceived social support (63.61±11.03), self-esteem (27.91±4.31) and depression (30.31±7.82), t=-5.04, P<0.01, t=-3.39, P=0.001, t=2.35, P=0.019). After controlling gender variables, the use of passive social network sites was positively correlated with depression ( r=0.053, P<0.01), while negatively correlated with perceived social support and self-esteem ( r=-0.157, -0.088, P<0.01). Perceived social support was positively correlated with self-esteem ( r=0.45, P<0.01). Perceived social support and self-esteem played a partial mediating role between passive social network site use and depression. The mediating effect includes two paths: one was the separate mediating effect of social support, and the other was the chain mediating effect of perceived social support and self-esteem, which accounted for 27% and 25% of the total effect respectively. Conclusion:The use of passive social networking sites can indirectly affect depression through the perceived social support or the chain mediating of social support and self-esteem.

OBJECTIVETo document the investigation and control of an outbreak of gastroenteritis in City G, South China, and provide a reference for preventing future outbreaks.
METHODSAn ambispective cohort study was designed. Attack rate (AR) and relative risks (RR) were calculated to identify the causes of gastroenteritis. Investigations using questionnaires included personal interviews with patients and doctors, reviews of medical records, laboratory examinations of fecal specimens and continuous hygiene monitoring of water samples from the waterworks.
RESULTSOverall, 427/71534 (AR=5.97%) cases were identified between October 31 and November 12 2010. Geographic distribution was highly localized, with 80% of cases occurring in the areas supplied by waterworks-A. Consumption of water provided solely by waterworks-A was found to be associated with illness (RR=8.20, 95 CI%:6.12-10.99) compared with that from waterworks-B. Microbiological analyses confirmed the presence of Norovirus in six of eight fecal samples from symptomatic patients, two water samples from waterworks-A and two sewage samples. After taking effective measures, the hygienic indices of waterworks-A met health criteria again on November 9 and no cases were reported 3 days later.
CONCLUSIONThe outbreak reported here was caused by drinking tap water contaminated with sewage at the source. Early identification of possible contamination sources and awareness of changes that might negatively impact water quality are important preventive measures to protect public health.
