1.Oservation of Lacidophilin vaginal capsules in the treatment of pregnant woman with bacterial vaginosis

Objective To discuss the curative effect of Lacidophilin vaginal capsules in the treatment of pregnant woman with bacterial vaginosis .Methods According to the digital table ,80 pregnant women with bacterial vaginosis were selected and divided into the observation group and control group .The patients in observation group were given Lacidophilin vaginal capsules in posterior fornix of vagina by one in the evening for 10 days,and the pa-tients in control group were given Metronidazole in posterior fornix of vagina by one in the evening for 10 days.The curative effect after 1 week was observed ,and the reoccurrence rate after 6 months was followed up .Results The to-tal clinical efficiency of the observed group was much higher than that of the control group (χ2 =5.16,P<0.05).The reoccurrence rates in control group and combined group were 12 and 3 cases after 6 months′treatment,and the reoc-currence rate in the observation group was much lower than that in the control group (χ2 =9.53,P <0.01). Conclusion Lacidophilin vaginal capsules has reliable curative effect on bacterial vaginosis in pregnant woman , which can obviously reduce the reoccurrence rate and has treatment and prevent function of the reoccurrence hereof .
2.Matrix metalloproteinases/tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase system and diabetic ocular complications

The matrix metalloproteinases/tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase (MMPs/TIMPs) system plays an important role in the degradation and remodel of the extracellular matrix (ECM).MMPs/TIMPs system is associated with ocular physiological process,such as ocular growth and development,etc.Also,MMPs/TIMPs system is involved in ocular pathological process including inflammation,wound healing,neoangiogenesis,tumor invasion and metastasis.MMPs/TIMPs system also participats in the formation of some ophthalmic diseases such as proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR),proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR),diabetic cataract,rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD),retinoblastoma (RB),age-related macular degeneration (AMD),ocular trauma,and glaucoma.This review attempts to elaborate the biological characteristics of MMPs/TIMPs,and the current researches of MMPs/ TIMPs system in the diabetic ocular complications,focusing on diabetic retinopathy,cataract and keratopathy.
3.Gastric Impedance Signal Analysis Based on Wavelet Transform and Stein Unbiased Risk Estimation Rule

Objecive To discuss a denoise method of gastric impedance signal based on wavelet transform and Stein Unbiased Risk Estimation rule.Methods Firstly,the signal was decomposed by Multi-resolution Analysis(MRA).Secondly,the signal was denoised by Stein Unbiased Risk Estimation rule,whose threshold was adaptive.Results The experimentation results demonstrated that breathing and blood flowing impedance interference could be cancelled effectively by using this method.Conclusion Wavelet analysis provides a new method for further study of gastric motility signal parameter extraction.
4.EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT DIETARY FATTY ACID COMPOSITION ON T LYMPHOCYTE FUNCTIONS AND LIPID PEROXIDATION IN MICE

Objective: To study the effects of dietary n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio on T lymphocyte functions in mice. Methods: 96 male BALb/c mice were randomly divided into 8 groups with dietary S:M:P 1:1.5:3.7 or 1:1.5:1, respectively. The n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio was 1, 7.5, 15, 30 respectively in each S:M:P diet. Each diet contained 70.0g/kg lipid,and different n-6/n-3 PUFA ratios by mixing different oils. At the end of 12w, all mice were killed and blood was collected. The spleen T lymphocyte proliferation, IL-2 production and serum MDA were measured. 5.Effectiveness of Improvement of Latrines on Disease Prevention in Countryside

ve To explore the effectiveness of non-hazardous treatment of excreta on control of intestinal infectious diseases and parasitosis. Methods The popularization rate of sanitary latrines, the non-hazardous treatment rate of excreta, the prevalance rate of B-class intestinal infectious diseases and infectious rate of worm eggs were sta-tistically analyzed. Results With the increasing popularization rate of sanitary latrine and the non-hazardous treat-ment rate of excreta, the prevalance rates of 3 kinds of intestinal infectious diseases (dysentery, typhoid and hepatitis) decreased from 175.14/100 000 in 1991 to 57.78/100 000 in 2 000 namely decreased 67.01% . The infectious rates of helminth eggs decreased from 76.88% in 1991 to 22.16% in 2000 namely decreased 71.17%. Conclusion Non-hazardous treatment of excreta presented obvious effectiveness on disease prevention, which should be widely popularized in countryside.
6.Disaster Vulnerability Evaluation of Pharmacy Department in Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To guide the formulation of emergency management plan for pharmacy department and reduce emer-gency risk. METHODS:By the methods of risk integration,considering the frequency and severity of the hazard events,the risk integral value of emergency events was calculated and hazard level was judged. RESULTS:The top three hazard events of pharma-cy department were information system failures (75.21),fire (63.00) and cytotoxic drugs overflow (62.21). All of the above events were moderate risk. According to the results of this evaluation,pharmacy department targeted emergency drills,in order to improve the ability to cope with risks. CONCLUSIONS:In order to improve the ability of facing and dealing hazard events,disas-ter vulnerability analysis is the base of developing and exercising emergency plans.
7.Investigation and Analysis of Pharmaceutical Affairs Management of 23 Hospitals in Hanyang District of Wu-han

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for promoting the standardization construction of pharmaceutical affairs manage-ment in primary medical institutions. METHODS:Completing the survey forms was combined with field trip to investigate the phar-maceutical affairs management in 23 hospitals in Hanyang district of Wuhan,and the results were summarized and analyzed. RE-SULTS:Totally 23 survey forms were sent out,and 23 were effectively received with effective recovery rate of 100%. In the sur-veyed hospitals,3 community hospitals had no adjust management system,all community hospitals had no clinical pharmacists management system,3 community hospitals had no pharmaceutical management and pharmacotherapeutics system,the information-ization management system in hospitals below third-grade had no statistics function,5 community hospitals had no standardized cool warehouse;use rate of antibiotics in the outpatient of 13 community hospitals was more than 20%;among the 21 hospitals with special management drugs,18 hospitals below third-grade did not use the unified state identification;4 community hospitals did not train pharmacy staff every year. CONCLUSIONS:Medical institutions in Hanyang district of Wuhan,especially the commu-nity hospitals,exist some problems,including construction of pharmaceutical institutions,clinical pharmacy disciplines,equipment and facilities,management and training of pharmacy staff. It is suggested that primary medical institutions should enhance pharma-ceutical management level by expanding pharmacy staff,paying attention to the basic construction and informationization construc-tion,performing job duties,attaching importance to training and effect evaluation and focusing on the construction of clinical phar-macy disciplines.
8.Small interfering RNA targeting Rac1 gene inhibiting rat retinal neovascularization

Objective To evaluate the inhibited effects of small interfering RNA targeting Rac1(Rac1-siRNA)on rat retinal neovascularization in retinae.Methods Retinal vein occlusion was indueedby retinal photodynamic medthod in 25 Sprague-Dawley rats.Rae1-siRNA vector DNA was injected intothe vitrous of one eye of those rats(gene intervention group),and empty vector DNA was injected into thefellow eye(blank control group).Rae1-siRNA vector was injected in other 25 SD rats without retinal veinocclusion(blank intervention group).Two weeks after injection,fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)-dextran was perfused into the hearts of all the rats,and the retinal wholemount was made to observe theneovascularization.The numbers of endothelial cells which break through the internal limiting membranewere counted after hematoxylin-eosin staining.Resuits A massive of neovascularization and FITCleakage were found in blank control group.Small part of neovaseularization and a little FITC leakage wereobserved in the gene intervention group.Retinal vessels were normal in blank intervention group.Compared with blank contrast group and blank intervention group.the difference of the mean numbers ofendothelial cells which broke through the internal limiting membrane in the gene intervention group wassignificant(F=47.168,P=0.000).Conclusion Racl-siRNA can inhibit retinal neovascularizationinduced by retinal vein occlusion in rats.
9.Influence of smoking on the occurrence and development of age-related macular degeneration

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) causes vision loss mainly due to apoptosis of retinal pigment epithelium cells and subsequent degeneration of photoreceptors.Active and passive smoking can increase the incidence of AMD and the progression risk of advanced AMD, and affect the treatment effect of wet AMD.Smoking can cause choroidal vasoconstriction, increased vascular resistance, vascular endothelial dysfunction, thinned choroid and ganglion cell complexes, resulting in impaired vascular reactivity of choroid and retinal vessels.Nicotine in cigarettes can lead to the overexpression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which increases the permeability of vessel and proliferation of endothelial cells, thus induces the formation of choroidal neovascularization (CNV). Smoking can induce oxidative stress leading to oxidative damage, reduce the expression of complement factor H, increase the membrane attack complex, lead to macrophage dysfunction, promote the formation of drusen, and induce the formation of CNV.Therefore, a full and deep understanding of the relationship between smoking and CNV and AMD in controlling the occurrence of AMD and preventing the formation of CNV is of great significance for the early prevention of AMD and the exploration of more effective treatment approaches.
10.Experience of Professor LIU Wenqiong on Treating Leukoplakia Vulvae of the Aged

[Objective]Summary of the experience of Professor LIU Wenqiong in the treatment of leukoplakia vulvae of the aged.[Method]By using the method of the collection and collation of Professor LIU Wenqiong in the treatment of elderly patients with leukoplakia vulvae case,and combination with the related discussion of ancient.This paper summarizes the experience of Professor Liu in the treatment of leukoplakia vulvae of the aged from the etiology and pathogenesis,treatment based on syndrome differentiation,prescriptions and so on,and for proven cases.[Results]Professor LIU Wenqiong thinks that the root of the disease is mainly characterized by the dysfunction of Zang Fu organs and deficiency of qi and blood,the brounch of the disease is characterized by endogenous wind disturbance.Organs are mainly related to liver and kidney.The type of syndrome is yin deficiency of liver and kidney and blood deficiency and wind dryness.The treatment is mainly nourishing liver kidney yin,followed by eliminating wind and relieving itching,and combinating with traditional Chinese external washing medicine for local administration.It lists a successful case,and reflects that Professor LIU Wenqiong has great skill to make prescription accuratedly.Effect is significant.[Conclusion] The clinical experience of Professor LIU Wenqiong in treatment of leukoplakia vulvae is effective,and she provides ideas and methods for the treatment of this discase,which has the value of popularization and application in clinical practice.
