Objective To probe into the effect of nursing intervention on complications and compliance of cancer patients with PICC. Methods 86 tumor patients selected from June 2007 to June 2010were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 43 patients in each group. After the two groups of patients were diagnosed they were treated with routine care, the intervention group wasgiven additional comprehensive nursing interventions aiming at PICC complications and compliance. The complications and treatment compliance of the patients were analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the rate of full compliance significantly improved and the rate of partial compliance significantly decreased in the intervention group. At the same time, compared with the control group, the incidence rate of phlebitis, catheter-related bloodstream infection and catheter blockage and catheter off of the intervention group were significantly lower. Conclusions Nursing intervention for cancer patients with PICC can reduce complications and improve treatment compliance of them and is of great clinical significance.

Objective To study the promotive effect of neovascularization on rats with cerebral infarction by nasal administration of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor. Methods A blinded,vehicle-controlled study of ING-CSF and IHG-CSF administration was performed by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model. All Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group, model group,INNS group,IHGCSF group and ING-CSF group. The neurologic behavioral tests were assessed after reperfusion 72 h.Mter 72 h of MCAO,the brains of rats were stainned with TTC and the infarcted volume was calculated by computer image analysis. The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the brain was determined by immune-histochemistry.The density of angiogenesis in the brain was counted under fluorescence microscope. Results The score of neurological function of ING-CSF group(3.90± 1.65)was improved significantly compared with the IHG-CSF group (10.55±2.19) at the point of 72 h after cerebral infarction (P<0.01).The cerebral infarct volume of ING-CSF group((20.01±3.29) %) was reduced evidently compared with the IHG-CSF group((33.48±4.49) %) at 72 h (P< 0.01);while the cerebral infarct volume of INNS group ((60.20±7.72) %)was not markedly different compared with the model group((61.49±6.41)%) at 72 h (P>0.05).The expression of VEGF in the brains of ING-CSF group was significantly higher than other groups at 72 h.Conclusion Intranasal administration G-CSF can improve neurological function and vascular angiogenesis in rats following MCAO.

Objective To explore the feasibility of tracing the source of human biological samples by microbiome, and provide new ideas for case investigation. Methods Biological samples from buccal mucosa, foot arch, armpit and other parts of 10 volunteers were collected for three consecutive months. The microbial community structure of the samples was confirmed by using the 16SrRNA gene sequence information. And the microbial community diversity analysis and random forest classification prediction model were carried out. Results There were significant differences in the microbial community structure of the three parts of human body.In this study,a prediction model of random forest classification with an accuracy of more than 90%was successfully constructed. Conclusion In this study,a classification and prediction model based on the microbiome information of human biological samples was constructed to judge the source location, which broadened the forensic application scenarios of human microorganisms.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of RbAp48 knockdown on the migration and invasion of human cervical cancer cells and explore the mechanism.
METHODSA small interference RNA (siRNA) was used to knock down the expression of RbAp48 in MS751 cells. The changes in cell migration and invasion were evaluated using wound healing assay and Transwell assay, respectively, and the expressions of RbAp48, vimentin, N-cadherin, E-cadherin, Snail, Twist, MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were determined with Western blotting.
RESULTSAfter siRNA-mediated RbAp48 knockdown, MS751 cells showed a significantly reduced expression of RbAp48 with significantly suppressed cell migration and invasion (P<0.01). RbAp48 knockdown induced obvious down-regulation of the expressions of interstitial cell phenotype proteins vimentin, N-cadherin, and MMP-2 and up-regulation of epithelial cell phenotype proteins E-cadherin and TIMP-2, suggesting the inhibition of epithelial- mesenchymal transition of the cells. The expressions of Snail and Twist were significantly down-regulated in the cells following RbAp48 knockdown.
CONCLUSIONKnockdown of RbAp48 can significantly inhibit epithelial-mesenchymal transition and suppress the migration and invasion of cervical cancer cell line MS751, the mechanism of which may involve the down-regulation of Snail and Twist expressions.

Objective To investigate the molecular mechanism of Twist induced-drug resistance in human lung cell line A549 cells. Methods The sensibility of A549 cells over-expressed Twist to cisplatin was measured by CCK8 assay. The expressions of Twist,MRP1,MRP2 and MRP3 were detected by RT-PCR. Western blotting was used to detect the expressions of Twist and MRP3 in A549 cells over-expressed Twist. The correlation between Twist and MRP3 expressions in 30 cases of lung cancer tissues was detected with immunohistochemistry. Results The viability of A549 cells over-expressed Twist was significant better than the control group under cispla-tin(32,64,128 μmol/L)treatment(0.79 ± 0.039,0.63 ± 0.048,0.46 ± 0.039 vs.0.53 ± 0.039,0.41 ± 0.043, 0.27 ± 0.063,respectively). After knockdown of MRP3 expression,it reversed drug resistance induced by Twist. Clinically, the expressions of Twist and MRP3 in lung cancer tissues were significantly relevant(P < 0.05). Conclusions Twist induces the drug resistance of human lung cell line A549 to cisplatin via up-regulating the expression of MRP3.

Objective To compare the biomechanical characteristics of new assembly of locking compression plate (NALCP) and locking compression plate (LCP) in internal fixation of femoral shaft comminuted fractures. Methods The preparation of a femoral shaft wedge fracture model (AO type 32-C2.1),six pairs of (12) femoral specimens were collected and divided into two groups randomly, with six in each group. The Group A was made up of the new assembly of locking compression plate fixation model (NALCP),and Group B the locking compression plate fixation model (LCP).The biomechanical properties of steel plates in two groups were tested by axial loading and torsional loading tests. The relative maximum displacement of fracture blocks in two groups on the X,Y and Z axes (the coronal axis was set as X axis, through the medial and lateral femur;the transverse axis was set as Z axis, through the femoral intercondylar fossa, perpendicular to the X axis;the sagittal axis was set as Y axis, perpendicular to the X and Z axis),the maximum strain, and the average strain of the steel plate were recorded.Strain distribution nephogram was produced, and the axial loading fatigue test results of Group A were recorded. Results Axial loading test:the relative maximum displacement of fracture in Group A on X,Y and Z axis were smaller than those in Group B (P <0.05 or 0.01);the main strain of Group A was greater than that of Group B (P <0.01);there was no significant difference in the average strain between Group A and Group B (P > 0.05).Torsional loading test:The relative maximum displacement of fracture in Group A on X and Z axis was smaller than that of Group B (P < 0.01);there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups on the Y axis (P > 0.05);the main strain of plate in Group A was greater than that in Group B (P < 0.01);there was no statistically significant difference in the average strain between Group A and Group B (P > 0.05).There was no obvious difference in strain distribution between the two groups. In Group A,the fatigue test of axial cyclic loading was performed for 1 million times, and the NALCP was intact without deformation, loosening,or rupture. Conclusion NALCP can provide strong mechanical stability for comminuted femoral fracture. The design of bridge steel plate is reasonable, which can effectively avoid stress concentration, reduce the stress shielding of steel plate, and facilitate bone healing.
