Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
0.05).(2)The relative tooth attrition:significant differences between CTS and control group in upper premolar lingual cusp and lower first molar buccal cusp were found.(3)Tooth cracked direction:it was mesial-distal direction in 91.67% maxillary premolar and 88.89% maxillary second molar in CTS but no obvious direction taxis in first molar and mandibular second molar in CTS.Conclusion:There are close correlations between insufficient tooth attrition in maxillary premolar lingual cusp, mandibular first molar mesial buccal cusp and CTS.

Purpose:To study the expression and clinical significance of PTEN in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was used to determine the expression of PTEN in 10 cases of normal lung issues and 56 cases of non-small cell lung cancer. Results:The positive incidences of PTEN expression in NSCLC was 59% while positive expression was found in all normal lung issues. The expression of PTEN was correlated to degree of differention of cancer, lymph node metastasis and clinical stages. The PTEN negative group was seen to have the worst survival rate among all groups. Conclusions:The results suggest that PTEN gene plays an important role in carcinogenesis and progress of NSCLC. Expression of PTEN may be valuable in prognosis assessment of NSCLC.

Objectives: To study the clinical meaning of condyle-form asymmetry and its osseous changes shown on TMJ images of lateral oblique transcranial projection and lateral tomography. Methods: 113 patients with partial posterior teeth lose were enroled in the study.Among them 25 were with temporomandibular disorder (TMD group),39 with slight TMD sings (sub-TMD group) and 45 without TMD(TMD-free group). Radiographs were taken and studied for each patient. Results: It was found that the condyle form asymmetry and osseous changes were not significantly different among the three groups. Osseous change was related to the number of teeth-lose (P0.05). The symptoms and signs of TMD had close relationship with occlusal interferences. Conclusions: The changes shown on TMJ images do not show close relationship with TMD symptoms and signs. Occlusal interferences resulted from teeth-lose are related to the clinical symptoms and signs of TMD.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective: To investigate the characters of the ageing changes in TMJ of New Zealand rabbit from 7 to 10 months old. Metho ds: 12 New Zealand rabbits aged 7,8,9 and 10 months old and 3 in eac h age group, were killed under anesthesia. Bilateral TMJs were histologically examined with HE stainnig. Results: Quite similar histolo gical structures were found in the TMJs in different age groups. Very few change s occurred in the fibre layer of osteo-articular surface. The thickness of the proliferate layer was decreased slightly in anterior and middle part saggitally, resulting in comparable increase of the hypertrophy layer with age. No hypertro phy layer was found in the cartilage over tempora articular surface. The thickne ss of the cartilage-like osteo layer was uneven, the thickest part was in the area towards condyle anterior slope and without age change. The thickness of d isc increased a little bit with age. Conclusion: The thick ness of the cartilage over TMJ articular surface of New Zealand rabbit at the a ge from 7 to 10 months old changes a little. The layer structures keep considera bly constant.

Objective:To assess mechanical hyperalgesia of the bilateral masseter muscles following the induction of experimental unilateral malocclusion in rats. Methods:① An elastic rubber(3M Unitek,1/8#) was inserted between the first and sencond upper molars on the left side of 4 Sprague- Dawley rats to induce malocclusion.② The left maxillary first molar of 4 rats were filled with metal arsenic for 7 days to inactivate tooth pulp, and then a dentin pin(d 0.75 mm, long 1.5-2.0 mm,0.5-1.0 mm above the occlusion surface)was bonded in the pulp chamber to induce acute traumatic occlusion, and 4 control animals were treated as the same procedure but not raised occlusion surface.③ According to Ren's method, von Frey filaments were used to assess the muscle mechanical threshold.Head withdrawal, leg raising and crying were observed as painful actions. Results:① In gradually induced malocclusion group, hyperalgesia was induced in bilateral masseter muscles from 3 to 9 d, and the peak time was the 7th day. ②In the acute traumatic occlusion group, the ipsilateral masseter muscle was demonstrated hyperalgesia for 5-7 days, and the peak time was the 2nd day. Conclusions:Traumatic occlusion may lead to masseter muscles hyperalgesia, and there existe some differences for pain behavior between the acute and the chronic occlusion trauma.

Objective To evaluate the application effect of evidence-based nursing in reducing ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) of patients with severe head injury. Methods 100 patients with severe head injury using mechanical ventilation were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 50 patients in each group. The observation group explored evidence from nursing of ventilator tube, oropharyngeal and sound sects care, airway care, balloon sleeves care to prevent biofilm on the endotracheal tube(ETT-BF) to fall off, enteral nutrition care, decubitus care, ward environment and the hand disinfection of medical staff and was given evidence- based nursing. The control group took routine care. The incidence of VAP,off-line time and mortality rate of the two groups were compared during the same time period. Results The incidence of VAP,off-line time, mortality rate showed significant difference between the two groups. The observation group showed better effect. Conclusions Implementation of evidence-based nursing can significantly reduce the off-line time of patients with severe traumatic brain injury using mechanical ventilation. It can decrease the incidence of VAP and mortality rate, improve the prognosis and reduce medical cost.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the influence of the information technique reporting on the quality of the infectious diseases reporting, and discuss the advantages and existing problems of Reporting Information System of Infectious Diseases("IDRIS").METHODS The situations of missing reports, late reports, and information quality of reporting cards before and after the application of IDRIS in the hospital were compared.RESULTS The missing report rate, late report rate, completeness rate and accuracy rate of cards after the application of IDRIS were 0.6%,2.0%,99.3% and 99.3% respectively,vs 16.5%(15.9% lower,(?2=436.997,P

Objective To observe the effects of recombinant human interleukin 11(rhIL-11) on proliferation, migration and invasion of A549 cells, and the mechanism thereof. Methods Final concentrations of 0, 10, 20, 50 and 100μg/L rhIL-11 were added into pulmonary adenocarcinoma A549 cells. The cell proliferation was detected by MTT. The wound-healing, transwell migration assay were used to validate the capability of the migration and invasion of A549 cells. Matrix metallopro-teinases (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 protein expressions were revealed by Western blot assay. Results The proliferation of A549 cells was not significantly changed by rhIL-11. The cell capability to migrate and invade was significantly increased 24 h af-ter treatment with rhIL-11 (P<0.05). The expression levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were significantly un-regulated, and which were increased with the increased concentrations of rhIL-11 (P<0.05). Conclusion rhIL-11 can promote the migra-tion and invasion of A549 cells, and the up-regulation of MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression might be one of the mechanisms.

Objective:To study the influence factors of laser therapy in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders(TMD)pain. Methods:1 20 cases of TMD were treated by MDC-500 semiconductor laser therapy.VAS was valued after each treatment. The cor-relation of the VAS varians following treatment with gender and age was analysed by two way AHOVA of the repeated measurement data.Results:1 1 4 cases completed the treatment and follow-up.After each treatment the VAS decreased(P <0.001 ),in females decreased more than in males(P <0.05).There was no significant difference between age groups(P =0.208).Conclusion:Laser therapy can ease TMD pain, and is more effective for female patients.
