OBJECTIVE To study the antibacterial activity of pazufloxacin in vitro against bacteria isolated from(patients) with respiratory and urinary tract infection,compared with levofloxacin,ciprofloxacin,cefuroxime and(cefotaxime) to provide guideline for clinical application.METHODS The infected bacteria were identified by the(fully) automatic VITEK system.The susceptibility test was determined by MIC method and K-B disk diffusion method respectively.RESULTS The sensitivity of most Gram-negative bacteria to pazufloxacin was basically the same to levofloxacin,cefotaxime, etc.However,the sensitivity of Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter to(pazufloxacin) was higher than to other four antibiotics;the sensitivity of Gram-positive cocci,particularly(Streptococcus) to(pazufloxacin) was obviously lower than cephalosporins and no better than other quinolones.(CONCLUSIONS) The antibacterial activity of pazufloxacin in vitro against the bacteria isolated from patients with(respiratory) and urinary tract infection is comparatively strong,especially in the urinary system.Pazufloxacin has an excellent broad-(spectrum) and strong antibacterial activity.However,the antibacterial activity against Gram-positive cocci is(expected) to promote.

Correlation between meridians and viscera is the core of meridian theory, and eight extra meridians are a vital part of meridian system. Based on the running courses, diseases and modern researches of eight extra meridians, we found that governor and heel vessels were closely related to brain and kidney; conception and thoroughfare vessels were related to kidney and uterus; there was no defined relationship between link, belt vessels and viscera. The theory of eight extra meridians belonging to liver and kidney, and the clinical application of the eight confluence points provide evidence for the correlation between the eight extra meridians and viscera. The correlation research can fill up current meridian-viscus correlation theory and provide its new research thought.

It takes quite a long process in the formation of the relevant theories of meridians and organs and many cultural factors are involved in the development of these theories at different eras, e.g. "the five evolution and six climatic factors", "twelve as the representing number of universe", "twenty-eight stars", "three and three " and "ancient bureaucratic system". Some of the theories are not coincident with the clinical practice at present. By the influence of the doctrine as "the five evolution and six climatic factors", only eleven meridians were recorded in the early ancient literature. Due to the saying "twelve as the representing number of universe", twelve meridians were developed and the other related meridians classified into the categories as the collaterals and the extraordinary meridians. Because of the theory of three and three , it is understandable why the indications of the clinical practices are not correlated with the relevant theories of meridians and organs. For example, the indications of three meridians of hand are not related to the large intestine, the small intestine and , and the corresponding acupoints in the treatment for the related disorders are located in the lower extremities. The ancient bureaucratic system had affected the understanding of the organs functions. For example, the heart is regarded as the monarch, protected by the pericardium. The hand- meridian-related cardiac disorders match with the pericardium. Hence, the cardiac disorders are treated by the acupoints of the hand- meridian rather than the hand- meridian. In this paper, the cultural factors in the theories of meridians and organs are deeply analyzed and those factors that are not coincident with the present clinical practice are separated. The analytic results are significant to the future research on meridians and organs.

Objective:The present study was aimed to evaluate the nutritional risk using nutritional risk screening 2002 (NRS2002) score and to investigate the impact of nutrition support on clinical outcome in hospitalized patients.Methods:Six hundred and ninety four hospitalized patients were recruited.NRS 2002 was applied to evaluate the nutritional risk of patients.Meanwhile,the effect of nutrition support on complication rate was evaluated between different types of patients.Results:14.0％ of patients had malnutrition and the incidence of nutritional risk was 27.5％.Patients with nutritional risk had a higher complication rate (P ＜0.01).Totally,22.0％ (153/694) patients received nutrition support,including 81.7％ patients with nutritional risk and 18.3％ patients without nutritional risk.Patients with nutritional risk benefited from nutrition support,as shown by lower complication rate and shorter length of hospital stay.In patients with nutritional risk,complication rate was lower in enteral fed patients compared to parenteral fed patients.Conclusion:With nutritional risk screening,patients' nutritional status can be evaluated and appropriate nutrition support can be performed.Compared to those without nutritional risk,patients with nutritional risk will benefit more from nutrition support,as indicated by lower complication rate and reduced length of hospital stay.

This study was aimed to observe the effects on glucolipid metabolism of aqueous extract of traditional South African herb Sutherlandia. Intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) combined with high fat feed method was used in the establishment of type 2 diabetes rat model. Then, rats were randomly divided into the normal group, model group, pioglitazone group, and the Sutherlandia group. Observation was made on changes of body weight, oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), blood triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein (HDL-C). Western blot method was used to detect IRS-1 expression of skeletal muscle in rats of each group. The results showed that compared with the normal group, body weight in the model group was decreased, and indicators of OGTT, TG, TC, LDL-C were significantly increased (P< 0.05). Symptoms such as increased drink-ing, eating and urine were obvious; and the IRS-1 expression was obviously decreased (P< 0.05). After treatment, compared with the model group, there was no significant body weight increase in the Sutherlandia group or the pi-oglitazone group. Indicators of blood glucose, TG, TC in the Sutherlandia group and the pioglitazone group were ob-viously decreased with no statistical difference (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). In the Sutherlandia group and the pioglitazone group, IRS-1 expression of skeletal muscle in rats was obviously increased with no statistical difference (P< 0.05). It was concluded that type 2 diabetes rats induced by intraperitoneal injection of STZ combined with high fat feed method can induce glucolipid metabolism disorders. Traditional South African herb Sutherlandia can obviously reduce the blood sugar level, improve blood lipid metabolism, and improve the level of insulin. Sutherlandia can improve the IRS-1 expression of skeletal muscle in rats, relief the insulin resistance, and lower blood sugar. However, the effect of its exact ways required further in-depth study.

Objective: To understand the level of radius speed of sound (SOS) in female college students and explore the effect of dietary on their bone health,so as to provide a reference for effective prevention fracture and osteoporosis among college students. Methods: A total of 363 female college students were selected by multistage stratified random sampling method. Dietary intake was assessed with a self-administered food frequency questionnaire, principal component analysis was used to derive dietary patterns. Speed of sound was measured by ultrasonic bone densitometer. Results: In all, the mean SOS of female college students was(4 138.0±114.3)m/s, 26.7% of female college students had low bone mass. Three dietary patterns were identified by factor analysis, explaining 55.4% of the diet variation: "snack" "plant" "high protein and high fat" patterns, respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that with the increase of age, the level of SOS in radius increased significantly; and snacks consumption was negatively associated with the level of SOS(β=13.23, -0.47, P<0.05). Conclusion University stage is still the critical period of bone mass accumulation for female, snacks consumption may have a negative impact on bone health, so it is necessary to carry out nutrition education to help improve health awareness, promote health eating, and lead health lives to prevent osteoporosis.

Objective To observe the effects of electroacupuncture(EA)on glutamate(Glu),metabotropic glutamate receptor 2/3(mGluR2/3)and apoptosis related proteins expression in hippocampus in rats with acute myocardial ischemia(AMI);To explore the mechanism of EA against AMI.Methods Totally 50 SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group,model group,EA group and inhibitor group,with 10 rats in each group.Except for the sham-operation group,the rats were treated with ligation at the left anterior descending coronary artery to establish AMI model.The rats in the EA group was treated with EA at"Shenmen"and"Tongli",30 minutes each time,once a day for 3 consecutive days.The rats in the inhibitor group were treated with injection of LY341459 via the lateral ventricle 30 min after modeling.HE staining was used to observe myocardial tissue morphology,and ELISA was used to detect Caspase-3 activity in myocardial tissue and Glu content in hippocampal tissue,immunofluorescence staining was used to detect mGluR2/3 expression in hippocampal tissue,TUNEL staining was used to detect apoptosis in hippocampal tissue cells,Western blot was used to detect the expressions of PI3K,Akt,and Caspase-3 protein in hippocampal tissue.Results Compared with the sham-operation group,the myocardial cells of the model group rats showed sparse and swelling with severe infiltration of inflammatory cells;the activity of Caspase-3 in myocardial tissue significantly increased,and the Glu content,positive expression of mGluR2/3,number of apoptotic cells in hippocampal tissue significantly increased(P<0.01),and the expressions of PI3K and Akt proteins in hippocampal tissue were significantly decreased,while the expression of Caspase-3 protein significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,myocardial cell edema and inflammatory cell infiltration were reduced in the EA group and inhibitor group,the activity of Caspase-3 in myocardial tissue was significantly decreased,the Glu content,positive expression of mGluR2/3,and number of apoptotic cells in hippocampal tissue were significantly reduced(P<0.01),the expressions of PI3K and Akt proteins in hippocampal tissue significantly increased,while the expression of Caspase-3 protein significantly decreased(P<0.01).Conclusion EA can improve myocardial injury in AMI rats,and its mechanism may be related to activation of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway,inhibition of hippocampal mGluR2/3 overexpression,reduction of Glu accumulation,inhibition of apoptosis of hippocampal neurons and reduction of neurotoxicity.

Objective:To explore the implementation path of scientific and technological achievement empowerment for researchers in public hospitals.Methods:Through literature research, theoretical research, policy research, etc, current situation and progress of the ownership management reform of scientific and technological achievements at home and abroad were sorted out, and the difficult problems in the empowerment of scientific and technological achievements were summarized in combination with its practice in domestic public hospitals.Results:The following problems existed in the empowerment of scientific and technological achievements in public hospitals: weak awareness of medical staff′s ownership protection imperfect empowerment system, lagging construction of management personnel, and constraints of state-owned assets management.Conclusions:It is suggested to improve the coordination mechanism of government departments, optimize related policy and law environment and innovation atmosphere, implement a categorized and tiered empowerment strategy for job scientific and technological achievements, set up a management platform of medical scientific and technological achievements, build a complete support service system, establish a mechanism for cultivating and producing high-value achievements, and strengthen the construction of achievement management personnel.

Objective To understand the digestive endoscopy nurses acquisition of specialized knowledge for providing reasonable training measures for digestive endoscopy nurses .Methods Using self-designed digestive endoscopy nurse specialist knowledge questionnaire , digestive endoscopy nurses professional training questionnaire survey was conducted among 95 nurses in Jilin province in July 2015.Results Specialized knowledge score of the 95 nurses was (19.97 ±3.37), with the correct rate 73.96%, in which self-protection dimension was 85.60%as the highest one, and digestive endoscopic surgery nursing cooperation dimension was 58.50%as the lowest. Different level hospitals , different ways of employment and whether the digestive endoscopy nurses ever participated in the digestive endoscopy training influenced the specialist knowledge score ( P <0.05 ). Conclusions Acquisition of specialist knowledge of digestive endoscopy nurses in the survey is in the medium level, thus it is imperative to strengthen the digestive endoscopy nurse specialist knowledge training .Various forms to carry out the specialized knowledge and skills training which can meet the needs of digestive endoscopy nurse training and improve their specialized knowledge and skill levels should be adopted .

Objective:To analyze the current research status, hotspots, and trends in the field of cancer symptom management in recent 10 years, and to provide a reference for further research.Methods:Articles published from January 2010 to December 2019 were retrieved with "cancer OR tumor OR neoplasm" and "symptom management" as the subject terms from the core collection of Web of Science database. CiteSpace 5.7.R1 was used for analysis and visualization of researchers, countries, institutions, journals, documents, keywords and other content.Results:The number of papers published in the field of cancer symptom management was basically on the rise, but the number of co-authored papers by multiple authors and institutions was insufficient. The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia were the main countries in the field of cancer symptom management. They occupied a key position in this field and cooperated closely with each other. China's number of publications ranked the fifth, but it did not take a central place, and it had less international cooperation. Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, and Supportive Care in Cancer were the core journals in this field. The related articles published on them reflected the foundation of this field, and provided important reference for this field. Cancer, symptoms, intervention measures, self-care, remote management, etc. have been research hotspots in recent years. Conclusions:This study provides a perspective for understanding the related research in cancer symptom management, and supplies valuable information for researchers to identify potential collaborators and cooperative institutions, core journals, hot topics, and research frontiers. In the future, researchers may focus on such hotspots and frontiers as symptoms, interventions, self-care, and remote management.
